Log cabin with pot stove was good fun getting it going to warm up the place Lovely breakfasts in cookhouse, 3 course dinner great and reasonably priced too Staff very friendly and helpful
Pot stove made it lovely and cosy at night but soon cooled down and mornings very cold Bins not emptied in cabin for 2 days Expensive stay as end of season and cookouts and rides not available
food is ok for us, especially with breakfast.
Great staff So quiet
It was great spending a night away from the chain hotels and experiencing the real west! A cute log cabin with all the amenities you really need. A comfortable bed, spacious bathroom with a nice hot shower and a babbling brook running behind it to lull you to sleep. A wood stove was also in the cabin in case the night was cool. A complimentary breakfast was included in which you could order anything you wished from the menu. The dining room was warm in ambiance with a large stone fireplace and western decor. I loved it!
I didn't care, but there was no tv in the cabin. For me it was actually refreshing to get away from it for a night or two. It's great to get disconnected from the world at times and get back to basics. So for me it wasn't a negative but actually another positive of the place!
Adorable cabins with wood burning franklin stove. Soothing river running in front of the cabin.
Big breakfast included loundry available cabin was authentic in the middle of the nature very friendly staff
Clean, comfortable with horse riding
I can't describe enough how nice it was staying at Parade Rest with my wife and our two kids, 4 years old and 2 months. The cabins are nestled on a beautiful ranch location between rolling hills, wide prarie and a sweeping backdrop of lake and mountains. The grounds have a fishing stream that gurgles through it, with wooden bridge and trails leading leading towards the on-site horse corral. It was so much fun exploring the ranch with my son, we spent a full day just relaxing and playing here. They also offer horseback rides, and have bikes and sports toys to play with as well. Breakfast is outstanding, a full made-to-order menu with amazing hash browns, bacon, eggs and pancakes. I regret we weren't able to make it to the outdoor cookouts which sound amazing. The staff as well, are great - kind, helpful and welcoming, it's like a family, one of the girls giving the horseback ride also occasionally showed up at the dining hall, so you see the same faces, very nice for my son who loved speaking with everyone. Housing wise, the cabins are cleaned every day and are spotless. Lastly, the wifi is good enough you can get a little work done if you need. And at night, the Milky Way sweeps the skies overhead. Location wise, it's a quick drive (13 mins) away from West Yellowstone, and the entrance to the Park. I'm happy we stayed here and not in town. It's a beautiful place and I look forward to returning.
Not a thing. This place was great.
The authentic experience
Breakfast was great the next morning - Very secluded and peaceful place
Was a clean place near lakes, creeks. Breakfast was excellent.
Was little bit hot in August. No A/C and Fans. Found it little bit on the expensive side.
Outstanding service and freindly staff, willing to help at any time. Quiet surroundings made a restful and peaceful holiday. I would definitely return.
This was a very relaxing place to stay. Meal portions were generous. Cabins were fun and spotless. Employees were great with the the kids. Lots of options to entertain all fily members.
Very close and convenient approach to the Yellowstone park. The cabin is nice, cosy and it's so quiet in the nights The ranch breakfasts are wonderful.
It is such a beautiful place to stay and very nice staff too. We will definitely want to come back again!
location , environment, service and breakfast is very good.
room is small and very hot.
Wonderful staff. Great views. Close to Yellowstone, but far enough away to enjoy the solitude.
Best place ever and I travel a lot. It is so beautiful I almost cried - and I am a grown man! Log cabins are beautifully appointed and updated. Flower garden in back and bubbling brook just 10 feet in front of the porch. Staff are friendly and helpfully. Kitchen is so clean you could eat off the floor. Wonderful breakfast and so filling I didn't have to eat the rest of the day. Marge, who runs the place, and the cook have been there since 2001 and that speaks to the consistent quality this place offers.
I am worried that PR will become so popular that I won't get a reservation next year.
Cabins were very nice and comfortable. Staff and breakfast was great. A great experience. Great story or recap on how the ranch was started and evolved.
No tv in room but was available in community room. Internet was not good enough to stream a movie
beautiful, lots to do
wifi not great inside
Everything was wondful, that's the best place I have been.
Everything was wonderful from the staff who made you feel welcome from the first moment you got there, to the cabins, to the activities, to the location. I would highly recommend.
Nice homey feeling. The cabin space was large and nicely decorated. Breakfast was awesome and the staff was super friendly.
I think it was early in the season and our cabin was missing a few things like fresh batteries in the smoke detector, gloves in the wood box and tissues in the room. Better lighting in the main room of our cabin would have been nice.
The staff was exceptionally helpful and did a splendid job of taking care of our accommodations.
