Reasonably close to good restaurants.
Run down, plumbing needs updating.
Very convenient location in between busy spots. Fairly quiet. Decent sized fridge. Free and fast wifi. Excellent streaming TV. Quality mattress. Fast check-in and check-out.
No place to hang clothes. Workmen doing repairs in upstairs unit very late into the night, keeping us up with loud pounding noises until we asked them to stop.
All rooms at Paradise Inn front a small, well-lit courtyard, contributing to a sense of security. The parking spaces ring the courtyard, with high visibility all around. The room was quiet and comfortable.
Water pressure in the shower was low.
location and room very big with nice couch
coffee maker broken and worse hanging around
Good location fairly central for our needs - Venice beach etc. Room was quiet from road noise. Microwave and fridge were adequate.
Downstairs room got a bit of noise from the room upstairs, was unable to swap to an upstairs room. No cutlery or plates.
My main priority for 2 star hotels is cleanliness. It hit that. They seem to be doing some renovations and some stuff wasn't completely done in our room, but it wasn't distracting enough to make the stay uncomfortable. I liked that they had a little seating area and the fridge was a decent size.
My friend has some difficulty with the water temp in the shower, and the bathroom is more like a closet. Courtyard was a bit awkward and the coffee was pretty awful. But, you pay for what you get.
Bed and price
Dark room. Unreliable hot water in shower.
Good size room. Decent facilities. Good for the price. Quiet night's sleep.
Nothing nearby. Staff hidden behind a screen.
Very good breakfast! It's near all the attractions in Monterey, Carmel and Big Sur. good quality/price. I would definitely recommend!
It was fairly cheap.
I could hear every footstep in the room above me as though it was Godzilla stomping around. I think people actually live at this place. The people above me were stomping around until well past 4am. I could hearing every conversation. The room itself is, well, what you'd expect out of a $75 room. Oh..there was not hot water at 6:30--tepid at best
Small bathroom, dark room
Super friendly staff. The size of the room was unbelievable. It did not only smell good it was very clean. We stayed with a service dog and even though he had problems before with someone else claiming three dogs as a services dog for one person he still treated us and our service dog very nice and polite. We would definitely stay here again.
location near beach and bus stop good prices big rooms
*The room had a really nice size with two queen beds and a small living area with fridge, microwave, coffemaker, with some coffees and cups, flat screen TV and a comfortable sofa. *Free Wi-fi. *Free parking. *The room was clean. *The staff was really helpful and polite. *Less than 20 minutes from Santa Monica and Venice Beach by car. * There is a brazilian restaurant side the hotel with a fair price and nice place.
*The parking was little and not enough to attend all the rooms.
Yes we did. Good hotel, close to Venice and Santa Monica. Microwaves woven and a small fridge was nice. The dog who lives there was lovely.
Nothing, last hotel I would stay again.
All, room was dirty, we found underware under bed, frigobar was damaged as well as floor carpet, bathroom awful and customer service worts.
Basically, if you have the car is the perfect place,is not far from the beaches,is cheap and nice, there is a parking area inside.. definively I would return there!
- Fridge - Cable - Couch - Comfortable and Clean Bed - Location - Wallet Friendly
- Outdated bathroom - Room smelled stale - Parking Lot is tight and gets full at night - Cleaning staff are a bit rude
I liked the decor
The bed was too hard
I got this room for my 18 year old grandson and his friend for a graduation gift so that they could see the local sights. Charlie was very helpful in coordinating my needs to pay for the room and allow my grandson to check in without me being there. Thank you Charlie, they had a great time.
Wall a/c was barely working so room was very stuffy. TV was behind a partition and volume waas very low at max volume so could barely hear tv. No electric wall plugs in bedroom.
The room itself was comfortable and clean.
WiFi was impossible to use. It took at least 5 minutes to get hot water in the shower (and there's a drought in L.A., I thought). Ice costs 50 cents a bucket. Coffee maker is one cup appliance. No breakfast, no pool; both of which I knew about in advance but still think it detracts from the value. We wanted to check out early but no one answered the front desk bell for over 5 minutes. Proprietor still is trying to charge us for the full 2nd night, using booking.com as the excuse for doing so. We are in dispute. When they are unresponsive and unavailable, it is ridiculous to demand we pay for services not rendered.
Location. Four miles to the beaches. Large room. Nice big bathroom
Parking was tight.
Had a fridge and microwave
Crib not provided, wall lamp loosealmost falling and electrical wiring showing, lightbswitches and outlets evidently dirty, overall facility not taken care of... rust, paint peeling off, looks run down
I liked that it was smack in the middle of Washington Blvd. so we could walk to get Pizza or walk to the Wood, we were also right next door to a Brazilian cafe which allowed us to try some interesting foods :)
The bed was sooooo hard. I would wake up so many times in the night because of the hard bed. Also the walls were pretty thin so we heard everything the couple upstairs were doing. EW
