We booked this hotel as a 4 star hotel in TImes Square over New Year's. When we got to the room, we found that the bath hadn't been cleaned in quite some time and was filthy. The heater was so loud and was blowing cold air so we ended up turning it off after the maintanence guy looked at it and concluded that the same thing happened in his apartment and left!!! And they charged to deliver cutlery to the room. We only wanted a fork!!!

The location on West 46th between Broadway and 8th Ave The incredible, loud noises from the plumbing prevented a good night's sleep. The room was tiny, which would have been OK if there had been other areas in the hotel where it was possible to "chill" and read, but the lobby, mezzanine and bar areas were in almost complete darkness, also during the day, and very noisy (loud music).

Hotel was nice & clean. Location was brilliant 30 seconds from times square. Booked a double bed but room was extremely small. Stayed on 19th floor and somthing on the roof rattled all day and all night really loud but got used to it. Would definitely recommend but in large room. A security deposit also had to be charged to a card which we were not informed about until we got to the hotel.

This hotel has little to recommend it other than location. It is directly off Times Square and therefore extremely handy for most things in nyc. The hotel was extremely over priced. We stayed in a Classic room, which wasn't the lowest priced option. I really have no idea how big the smaller/lower cost option room would have been. The first room they put us in had a bathroom that can only be descirbed as a closet with the toilet pushed up against the sink so you couldn't actually sit on it. There was no heating and the pipes banged all night. When I complained they explained that they were an 'old hotel and these things were to be expected'. They finally moved us into a similar sized room, but with a better bathroom and heating. This is the most over-priced, unfriendly, definitely not the star rating it's quoting hotel I have ever had the misfortune to stay in. I would definitely not recommend it to anyone.

The location was perfect! The rooms are very very small, other reviews had warned us but still a shock to see only a double bed for two adults in the Broadway Classic. In this day and age to have wifi free only in the lobby area is unacceptable.

Disappointing hotel! Room is so small that you have no place to put the luggage, it is not possible to get to bed when TV is in use! Very small bed (much smaller than tween bed) can't fit a couple I will not recommend the hotel in any price, surely not at about $300 per night !

The lobby and the inside bar Small rooms. There's no way to control the heating so if it's not too cold outside the heating doesn't go on and the room can't be warmed up. I've got a discount of 100$ (it could be more since the room per night was more than 300$). The staff was nice and open though.

The great location and the beautiful interior of the lobby are the best things about this hotel. The room was awkwardly small. Charging $14 for 24 hours of WiFi access is ridiculous. Just as water and air, WiFi should be free in every hotel, especially in Manhattan. Not to mention the computers in the business weren't free of charge either.

Best location for broadway and times square The consierge charges 10 dollars to hand me a fed-ex pack for my name at the reception desk. I do not think this is fair.

The pivot flatscreen in the petite room was really a plus. I also enjoyed the lively atmosphere...as soon as you walked into the building, you felt like you were on the scene in ny. The toilet in the petite room is oddly placed beside a wall heater...which is awkward.

I like the class and honesty of the hotel staff. The lobby is terrific, location is the best seconds from times square. Ilumination is poorly in the acess to room, bedroom size is the major problem, even when using a third person to book.

The location is the most remarkable point of this hotel. The room I reserved was too tiny; I barely found a room for my 6 baggage. Also, it doesn't contain a refrigerator. I had been waiting for a bellman for 45 minutes, and the receptions staffs were rude.

The location was great, The hotel was very clean, modern and the bar was very nice. The staff were always freindly and very helpful nothing you needed or asked for was a problem for them. I would defintely stay there again and would recomend anyone going to New York to consider staying at The Paramount. Its not really a dislike or complaint but my room which was a standard double room was small, however it is a boutique hotel and I knew when I booked the room wouldn't be that big. It is a bit of a squeeze for two adults and thier luggage but the hotel does have larger rooms it just depends on your budget. But it's New York and your'e hardly ever in your room.

It's in Times Square area, easy to walk and shopping. The most convenient is to watch Broadway show, lots of theaters around. The door boy is very good, not only helped for the luggage & taxi, but also helped to check taxi rate for long distance trip. The room is too small, little bit noisy.

The only think positive in the Paramount Hotel is the location. The hotel is very dark, even the elevator is not able to see well the floor numbers. The hotel room is extremelly small. It is exactly 11 by 11 steps each. The shower has no pressure, and their full size bed actually is a twin bed. The ice maker did not work for the days I stayed there. The closet is so small that it is not enough to storage clothes and suitcases

The hotel was perfectly situated, just a few minutes walk and you arein times square and broadway. All the sites of New York are on your doors step. We booked the Broadway Classic room. We went as a couple and unless you are very very small there is no way that two people could sleep in the bed! We had to upgrade our room, as there was no way that we could have stayed in this room for 8 nights. We had to upgrade the room, which was well worth the extra we had to pay.
