4 room changes says it all.

Everything on the ground floor, which was well appointed and had a lively feel. Check-in staff were courteous and efficient. There was a sense of buzz that was contagious. The bed was comfortable.

Noisy air conditioning, the lack of wi-fi in the room. (Any troublesome noise came from the A/C, and not the traffic -- although it is near Times Square.) I would have liked a fridge and/or coffee-making facilities in the room.

The lobby was beautifully decorated, and they allowed me to check out late. For a few bucks, they'll hold your luggage til midnight, after checkout. Great price but willing to pay more, for another 2 sq. ft. of comfort. Friendly staff and they check to see your room keys, to make certain you are a guest, after a certain hour...I liked that.

Tiny rooms and shower . Dark hallways and the lobby was freezing cold. No amenities. Doors could be heard slamming and disturbing my rest was unpleasant.

Staff was really nice & we got to check in early and they upgraded us to a king bed. Beautiful hotel and lobby is amazing.

Room was really small and simple but still nice. Not a good view really & expensive for what u get.

Lobby was fantastic - comfortable, welcoming. Great design. Front desk staff and concierge very professional, friendly and helpful. Room was very clean, efficient and perfect for one person. Would not choose same room if traveling with my husband. Food in the cafe/bar was excellent. Service was great. We had breakfast the first morning of our stay and there were really good choices. I had an egg white omelet - wonderful.

The room description said it came with an iPhone docking station but there was none. We left our chargers home (naively trusting the room description). I asked for a charger but the staff could not locate one until the morning, just before we were ready to leave. It came too little too late and didn't even work! Other than that everything was good.

only two elevators was working and the hotel was packed. then one elevator was working which was a little much when you have four there. come on now let get them all working. had to wait forever to get to fifteen floor. also need to have a place for patrons to print boarding passes. tried to get the young ladies to print it down stair but they were to busy talking about someone asking them out on a date. never did get it printed out. would not take a lot to do this as many people you have through that hotel.

The location of the Paramount is wonderful. All Midtown destinations are an easy walk from the hotel. The staff is very professional and accomodating. After checking out, the hotel was able to store our luggage as we spent the whole day touring.

The rooms are small, but clean. We had some difficulty controlling the air conditioning. It was either really cold, or it got warm.

An impressive old NYC building with modern design refurbishments. Very chic, modern and upscale. The lobby of the hotel is like a hip lounge with plenty of cushy chairs and sofas. It's dark inside but that adds to the mystique. Cool music that invites and soothes the soul. Smallish rooms but well designed to make efficient use of the space. Great attentive staff, willing to go the extra mile.

Check in at 3 seemed a bit late, but we knew that making the reservation. Generous 12 check out makes up for it.

My Favorite hotel to stay in nyc We were checked in by an Spanish Guy who made us feel genuinely welcome. We had special circumstances when arriving, and our room was upgraded. This small gesture made by the hotel was a huge impact on our experience. We were very happy at the generosity . 1- Hotel lobby / reception area very nice and modern. It was awesome, and i liked the mood there. Free wifi in this area is really necessary . 2 - Location, the Hotel is perfect situated for anything you want to do or see in NY. Just 100m to Times Sq, and several Broadway shows. 3 - Reception Staff was amazing, I felt myself very welcomed when we first arrived. 4 - I recommend this hotel for everyone! 1 - Hotel rooms a little small for two persons with lugagge but anyway good . 2 - Bar & Restaurant for Breakfast was quite expensive . But we have a plenty of options in the near area.

Litlle room, very bad reception, the worst hotel, I have visited. Real price I thing 89 $ ......

The manager was very nice when we explained our issues over the room . So I can only thank him . He did also offer an alternative room but we had at that point decided to move else where

The room sizes are so so small we left after one night . As we felt to would be impossible to stay 5 nights in such a small room . It's advertised as a delux king but unfortunately did not meet out expectations . The interior lighting in the reception and corridors is very dull and gloomy . I'm sure it was intended to be atmospheric but it feld depressing to us .

The Paramount was a great Midtown/Time Square location. I was able to get anywhere quite easily. The room was not huge but roomy enough for 2 people. Everything was up to date. The room was near the elevator but it was quite soundproof. Though there was not any noisy people when I stayed. On my last night, I came back late and was hungry so I went to the pizza place next door for a slab. It was very good.

I couldn't determine on their website that they had a gym for me to use. I didn't bring my workout clothes so I didn't workout. Instead I walked my feet off!
