The hotel was modern, clean and spacious. The room we stayed in was also lovely and had a great view across the city. The bar staff were friendly. The best thing about the Parc 55 is its central location. We were right in the middle of union square, close to all the amenities and attractions. I thought that for such a nice/expensive hotel the customer service could be much improved. We waited a very long time to check in (and not because there were lots of people- it was about 6pm and we had just travelled for 4 hours from Yosemite National Park) and were woken up at 8.00am by the maid knocking loudly and trying to clean our room as we werent given a 'do not disturb sign'. Noone was rude but it didnt feel as though there was any extra effort put in to make it special. Also there was no swimming pool. |

I really enjoyed the cleanliness of the facility, the view and convenient location near the shopping. The staff where very helpful and kind. Parking was too expensive! |

It is convenient for shopping and central for most amenities We were given a smoking room and it was the only one left with two double beds. We could not sleep well as the smell bothers us. The airconditioning did not help as it was hard to control. |

Valet service was good. Dinner was good. Bathroom good. Room quiet. Staff friendly and helpful Decor in publicspaces cold and uninteresting breakfast restaurant depressingly dark. Parking too expensive. Many small taxes and fees really pumped up total bill. |

The people were friendly Yes!! You have to pay for internet service!!! Now what is up with that!!! You are allready paying $200.00+ dollars a nite. What no free WiFi!! That just wrong. |

I liked all the Hotel with there nice staff, very good services like 5 stars hotel services, Bathroom was clean and nice, check in was fast and express check out was perfect, the other good thing is that they extended for me 2 days with same rate of reservation even though the rate has increased by 40% in Booking.com i think this is one of the best hotels i visited in California during my trip there and they need to include small things and become 5 stars hotel like Mini Bar, and better Restaurant and Fitness Center |

Primarily the location, close to shops, Chinatown and with many of the city attractions within reasonable range. If, upon arrival, I see a peanut under a table in my room that is still there after three days and if we find hairs of previous guests in our bathroom, cleanliness is not up to standard. |

Loved the location and easy access to citywide transportation. Found the hotel quite noisy and being on the 5th floor we heard street noise and traffic all night. |

Pleasantly surprised. This is a great hotel. We stayed here with the family, but as a frequent business traveller I would use this hotel as well. Staff was very attentive. Jon at reception made sure we had adjoining rooms and the Dutch speaking concierge made sure that everything was in order for the car rental. Both of them on their own initiative: great.The location is good. The hotel is located in a relatively quiet area (compared to busy Powell street and we could sleep unbothered. I saw some complaints about the neighbourhood, but find that strange. There is a bad neighbourhood a couple of blocks away, but that does not effect the immediate vicinity of the hotel. As a business traveller I am a bit spoiled, but honestly, there is nothing to fault here. |
