The staff were helpful, nice and seemed to genuinely enjoy working there. The restaurant is very good as well.
I was on a floor her some meeting rooms and the noise of the setup woke me one morning at 5:30am.
The location was great. The room was spacious and really nice.
Stained comforter and brick wall for a view when I looked out the window was the only things I wasent happy with.
Location and the staff were excellent. Valet park was good. Front desk runs the ship like a well oiled machine.I wish I remembered the two ladies who checked me in and out. Excellent. My date of stay was 8/15-16. For a busy professional just trying to get away with my lady friend it made my last minute jaunt to New Orleans perfrct. Recommend
I hate paying for parking. Older hotel that has been maintained.
Cleanliness of room and cafe attached to the hotel
My friends and I only stayed there one night but we enjoyed our time there. The staff was friendly.
The main elevator was broken so we had to use the staff elevator. There isn't a lot of room to park and unload your car so we had to circle the block until we were able to "create our own spot".
Location and price
Bathtub clogging up
The location of Blake Hotel is very well, which is very close to the main street of Canal Street, as well as the famous French Quarter. The room is not big, but very comfortable with enough facilities, such as refrigerator, micro-oven. There is a restaurant in the hotel and a snack bar providing water, coke, juice and frozen sandwich/pizza. The staff was very kind. The room was very clean. I love this hotel very much.
Clean rooms. Location. Friendly and welcoming hotel staff. Available snacks in the lobby.
Slow elevator. Lack of food choices in the restaurant. Unfriendly restaurant staff.
When the a/c kicked on and off it was very loud.
Great staff. Super warm and helpful.
When I asked for towels both times it took an hour each time. Seems a little long. And the elevator was either down or super slow
Service. The housekeeper did not restock normal items, i.e. tea, toilet paper, shampoo. We did not receive a final bill. The staff said they would email it. They did not.
Very friendly and helpful staff; excellent price/performance ratio; good location (5 min from french quater); nice and comfortable rooms
cleaning staff did not show up before 2 pm and sometimes even forgot to clean the rooms - changed after complaint
bien situado, centrico y confortable
Good, safe location. friendly staff. Nice amenities in the room.
Asked for early check in & when we arrived, they said they'd call when the room was ready in about 2 hours. No one called.
I really enjoyed how close this location was to everywhere we wanted to go. The staff was really friendly and remained calm even when they had a giant crowd of people in front of them. The cookies on Tuesday evening were a nice touch.
The internet connection was very poor at times.
It was nice and quiet and we enjoyed it
There was no TV channel guide in the room so we had to guess the channels
Great Location. Easy access many attractions.
Price.....well it was Mardi Gras weekend though
the housekeeping staff was amazing and the front desk was brilliant
more options to book for a window view
I was impressed with how nice and clean the rooms were. I LOVED that I had my own fridge and microwave! Staff was very helpful. Loved the location, Only five min cab ride from Bourbon st. I like that there's an in house restaurant. And very convenient that there's a "mini mart" near the front desk.
I called front desk to call a cab for me. I left my room 5 min after I made my call. I waited in the lobby at least 25 min till I approached the front desk about my taxi cab. She said she called and would call back and check up on my taxi. As I sat there I kept seeing taxis drive by. It wasn't till I waited 45 min later that I decided to hail my own cab.
Shower curtain needs cleaning
Valet Parking is SUPER expensive, it take them forever to park or bring back your car (minimum of 30 mins). We paid $327 p/night and the room neither the hotel is that luxurious to pay such amount. The bathroom needs updates and don't even talk about the elevator, they only have 1 for the entire hotel the wait is ridiculous.
Hall ways smelled like weed smoke.
Front of house staff excellent but let down by poor housekeeping. Good value for money (for New Orleans). Free wi-fi now expected and was excellent - unlike some more expensive hotels (think Sheraton, where they charge extra!)
Poor houskeeping - windows dirty, coffee etc not replenished daily, damp towels (and nowhere to hang them), light missing. Basics ok but no attention to detail.
Good accommodations and great location
Beds a little small
