Great access to bus and subway and close to good restaurants. Comfortable bed, but not the couch or roll-away bed. The plumbing is limited and shower temperature and pressure bad at peak times. Toilet didn't flush well in one room, but staff was responsive. |

The internet connection wasn't working, the service was awful, the woman behind the desk wasn't helpful at all. There were just two bathrooms for about 16 rooms. One of toilets didn't flush and one of the showers didn't give hot water. The room was small, not worth the money at all. To complete the list, the elevator was incredibly slow. |

I really liked the location. I felt safe walking back from the Subway at night. There were lots of shops and good restaurants yet much quieter and less expensive than staying in Midtown. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean which made sharing the bathrooms a much better experience than I would have thought. |

I stayed one night for business on the upper west side. This is a small hotel almost right across from the Museum of Natural History and a block from great restaurants and the subway station. So was very easy to get around. I was upgraded to a deluxe room and although expensive had gotten reservations at the last minute during a busy time of year in ny. The room was very clean with a nice bathroom -but window airconditioner was noisy but they always are... |

on my trip i liked every day cleaning, very kind roomservice, nice design and look of hotel room, area where the hortel 79 perk hotel is. I will be happier with kinder behaviour of receptionist, more professional attitude. That will be suitable to niveau of your nice hotel. |

There are a couple of things I did not like about the hotel. The room/bathroom was to small. The bed was like sleeping on a slab of concrete. There wasn't a fridge/microwave. I personally think the hotel was not worth the money we paid. If I would have known then what I know now, I would have spent the extra money on a larger more equipped hotel closer to downtown! |

Very good value, excellent location. Room was small but bathroom was great, shower hot, no sound problems. Within walking distance to Central Park and the Museum of Natural History, and 81st St. subway. Very comfortable bed. |

Cheap and good, close to both bus and metro, safe area close to restaurants and bars, one block froml Central Park. Small, but clean and quiet rooms. The bathroom is tiny. I almost had to step into the bedroom to open the door to the shower! |

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Everything I tried to use the bathroom (including 1am) it was being used... I didn't have to wait long, but it was a little disconcerting. |

The hotel itself was clean and felt safe. There were two bathrooms on each floor. The website had false advertising. I booked that hotel specifically because the website said it had wireless. I even called to check to see if wireless was available in the rooms (and was told that it was). The I got there - and the wireless only worked in the lobby (which was so small that there was never room for me to sit). I needed to take care of several business issue via net - which I was not able to do during my stay. I think I should have some of my money refunded, but the hotel would not do so. (Other similar hotels that don't offer wireless are much cheaper.) Do not book this hotel if you need wireless access. |

The location was excellent, the staff very helpful and the standard of hotel was very good! no real breakfast, which was perfect for us but might not be for all. |
