The hotel was nice and comfortable staff were friendly and amazing location such a nice safe area. I would stay again if visiting
Nice price in a good location
Those working at the front desk should try smiling now and then. They should also at least pretend to appreciate your visit (the bellman was always nice so that's the exception)
Price, Location, nice small bathroom and staff kidness.
adjacent room's door really noise, bad TV reception.
Central Park was only two blocks away.
The room was way too small and not very clean. For that price you would expect a little bit more.
The location was great. The second room we stayed in was nice.
The first room we stayed in smelled like mildew, the ac was very noisy and the room was tiny.
Shower was powerful and hot. Free coffee in the morning was nice. TV was large. Short walk to Natural History Museum, Central Park and a subway station.
Room was very small- could only get out of one side of bed so had to climb over each other to get out! Not much space to put anything. Very expensive for what you get. Air conditioning unit was loud and we couldn't turn it off.
room is too small and facilities are poor
great staff, fun , friendly
Staff was friendly and helpful!
For a single room with a shared bathroom, you're much better off getting a hostel.
Room tiny for the price, NYC ripoff
The location was perfect, always felt safe. Even though the room was small, the bathroom was clearly new and the shower was amazing
The lift was quite old and slow, a lot of times it was quicker to take the stairs, which can be hard work in a 6 level building
The place was in a good location
Rooms was a bit old needs updates
A/C to noisy
The doorman - he always seemed so happy to see me. It was really nice being greeted that way. He was funny too!
I wish there had been fruit or bagels or something else other than just a liquid refreshment in the morning.
Great location, clean accommodations... Just right for the solo traveler who simply needs a place to rest in between meetings.
Close to subway. Easy to find
The room was comfortable, clean and silent. The attendants were very polite, helpful and sympathetic. The hotel is located in a very good place, close to subway stations and nice avenues. The Wifi was also great.
We had a window through which we could see the weather, but we couldn't open it. It would be great if we could open it.
more lights in Bathroom
Male staff very nice. Good location. Bed comfortable.
Wifi timed out. TV blurry. Decor so so. Reception not friendly at all. Coffee at front not mentioned. No coffee or tea in room.
Staff is excellent...friendly and knowledgeable. Location is great, close to great places to eat, Central park and shopping. Transportation is close by and you can walk to a days worth of adventure.
The rooms do need a bit of up-dating. The bathrooms are small, really small as are the showers. The window AC units are loud. The comforters are great in winter but way too hot for summer.
Great location, super clean, room was silent, spacious and had a view of the city.
The staff were friendly and welcoming. The rooms were good, kinda strange not having a bathroom in my room but it was close by and always available, definitely something that we got used to.
No breakfast included :(
Location and nothing else.
The hotel is outdated with an old room smelling smoke, no views from the windows, A/C inefficient, loud noise coming from other rooms, elevator extremely small and slow, front desk staff (with some notable exception) rude. The overall experience was terrible.
Excellent location for our purposes. The American Museum of Natural History is literally one block away and served as an excellent parking garage. Great restaurants were within blocks as was Central Park and public transit. Easy access to other midtown sites. Very safe location.
No water/soda machines.
