Room and the cleaning

Reception and the way i was betreated. I stayed 3 times i n your hotel. Im very disappointed the last time. I never made a reservationen in your hotel. See my comment to Booking.com and the internet.

Location.Very quiet

Lobby remodel. Lobby closed.Air conditioner turned and knobs to control removed so you could not turn on. For the cost of this hotel they still charged $12.00 for WHFI,

Ice machine wasn't working. Hotel under remodeling. No restaurants open inside hotel as listed.

Location close between Time Square & Central Park.

Rude service at counter. Ice machine out of order for days. Lifts out of order. Room hallway stank of smoke.

Hotel was under renovation, staff was freindly and helpful. Room was just renovated

the drain in the tub did not work and the toilet also had a drain problem. You had to let the hotwater run for a while before it got warm/hot. The condiments were not in the bathroom and housekeeping had to bring them to the room.

no a/c

Loved the staff. They were knowledgeable about the area and they were there for my every need. Once I went down to tell the staff if was late on a Saturday night. The lady at the front desk I don't recall her name but she allowed me to look at a room on a lower floor due to it being the only other open to see if I had Service in there, yet I didn't like it. She was great yet I don't remember her name she was the only one at the front at the time I checked in. But 1st thing Saturday the two guest service managers Elizabeth and Eric got me new room where my phone and hotspot WiFi worked. Even with all the renovations I had a great stay.

My original room I had no cellphone reception. It was a nice room yet my phone didn't work at all. It was 2120. Also when I looked at rooms on the 3rd floor the hallway had a smell. But those were my only two complaints.

No heat No hot water Dirty Maid never came to make bed or leave clean towels Water leaking from bath tub above us. 1 plug outlet in the whole room The hotel hair dryer almost caught on fire as my boyfriend was drying his hair. (We actually saw a spark before it burnt out)

I only liked the location.

No air conditioning. Room was extremely hot. Construction started at 7:00 am. Could not sleep all night cause of no A.C. then all the building work. No sleep. No wifi. Very Noisy. Room cleaners took our bag of food.

Service Executive Emanuel is very friendly and ensured that our requests are met to 100% satisifaction.

New Rooms look great. Very modern and upscale. Fits perfectly with PC's location. Stayed here twice now and Ill be back. The woman who checked me in (Caroline(I think)) was fantastic.

Realizing that my floor was newly renovated, they could have done more to tidy up. It was fine, but you could definately tell renovations had gone on.

Air unit did not turn cool when set. It was blasting hot air. The TV kept going in and out of signal. Bar was shut down.

Internet: it is an absurd to pay extra tax. Better to increase the price of day then you ask to pay extra.

Front Lobby is being renovated. When I checked in the computer system was down and took a long time to check in. The front doors were blocked by a luggage cart forcing you to use the revolving door which was really problematic when you had your hands full with luggage, non of the bell staff seemed to be helpful with this.

The Staff were very friendly and helpful(except for housekeeping).

The building just started a renovation project and the "temporary" lobby was small and conjestive. There were no railing on the stairs which made it difficult for my mother-in-law to climb the few steps that were in the lobby.

The price

The first room I was assigned had 2 dining room chairs to sit in, no desk or desk or floor lamp.the bed was unmade. The second room had an armchair and desk but no desk or floor lamp. All furniture was old and damaged. The bed sash was the same as ithas been for the last 10 yr. With all lights on in the room it was still to dim to read due to use of the low energy fluorescent bulbs

Very convenient location. Walking distance to most place, and the subway lines were all close by for easy access to downtown areas.

There was construction going on in the building which was noisy, but not too bad. The only thing I wasn't happy with was the price. They charged a tax per night. I have never stayed in a place that does that. I thought my hotel was going to be about $300 cheaper than it was.
