Service and cleanliness
For the money, it should have included a free breakfast.
Noise , noise
great location with lots of places to eat near by
rooms small even though it was a superior room reception staff unfriendly/unwelcoming
The hotel was extremely welcoming and very homely.
The expensive Cafe in the Lobby!
location was great, staff was professional and friendly. Room was very comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. Very quiet...slept great!!
They added a fee for use to their lounge on the 23rd floor...drinks, snacks etc. Did not know about this when I booked the hotel. Did complain in an email and they will waive this fee this time for me. I appreciate that but think it should be made clear upfront.
Ease of navigating everywhere we needed to be. Close proximity to Carnegie Hall.
Elevators - they were way too small and too slow. Archaic in comparison to the hotel
The staff was very accomodating and pleasant. The room was large, very clean, comfortable beds. The location was great, we walked in Central Park and to the theatre.
Our room faced the street and the traffic noise was loud. Had to use white noise to sleep.
Good size clean bedroom Great Location
No welcome at check-in or eye contact with us, given room key & told elevators that way & we don't do room service!!! Small bathroom
Loved the location and the hotel!! It was great!
Very disappointed in the lady at the desk with help in getting theatre tickets. Was told once price and charged another and told it started at 8 when it started at 7 so we missed 30 minutes.
The hotel was in a fabulous locale - easily accessible by foot to great NYC attractions without being right in the center of crazy Times Square! We found the hotel staff to be very friendly and inviting as well.
Our housekeeping experience wasn't all that great, from the day we arrived to find a dirty bathtub (filled with colored lint and other misc. "crumbs". Although we were a family of 4, there were only 3 towels. And then, when we went to take showers, the liquid soap dispenser in the shower was empty!
I loved the location - we were out and about so much that we only saw our bedroom! I would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting New York
overall it was fine although i thought the carpets could have seen a hoover !
Location was excellent, a few blocks down from Times Square
The drinks were expensive in the bar.
Nice staff , good food at restaurant, location, size of room.
Coffee in room, closer elevators, faster elevators, room service menu, gym.
The rooms are nice although the bathroom is tiny. The service thru customer service over the phone is speedy and efficient.
The room is dark and the closet has no light inside. This makes the room uncomfortable. The elevators are slow and constantly crowded. Too expensive for what you get.
Friendly staff and good location
Cleaning carts were stacked infront of my room
not friendly welcoming
Cleanliness, decoration, ability to have a meal there for a fair price, staff, location.
You can hear through the walls. The price is a bit high.
A good location well placed for theatres, Times Square as well as Central Park. Hop on tour bus stops just across the street. Room was clean, well appointed and comfortable.
'Facilities fee' of 20 dollars plus tax per night. bumped up the bill.
location, tv, bed, bathroom, room service
Reception at midnight between 8th and 9th of October 2014 made us leave and come back after half an hour because our reserved room wasn't ready??? Clerk was sour, not friendly. The view from the room was ugly.
Helpful staff, clean, comfy beds,
Location is perfect and room is modern and neat, comfortable beds
Some staff may be too arrogant at the reception although we found one very nice so we always went to him and he was very helpful and checked on us to see if we were getting what we asked for
Location was very good Starbucks same block nearby grocery
The cafeteria is pricy and food in general is expensive
We needed late check out - only 3 hours more - and wanted to pay for this, but they asked a full penalty (approx. 300 USD).
Location was fantastic, a short walk to Times Square, Broadway, Central Park. Everything else was within walking distance or a short subway ride away. We found the subway easy to use, and we always found people willing to help if we weren't sure! We didn't eat at the hotel, only because we were always out and there are so many great places around. Down the road is Rays Pizza, our choice for a single slice after Broadway shows on our way home. But we did get our coffee and Danish every morning from the café in the lobby on our way out. Carolyn on the front desk was very helpful.
Nothing really, but the hotel was expensive, New York prices I suppose. I'd certainly stay there again.
This was a lovely hotel near Central Park and Times Square ,the beds are so comfortable ,best sleep ever in a hotel.
My daughter and I stayed for 5 nights ,yes it was comfortable but was very expensive when breakfast was not included .
