The Park Plaza Lodge was a pleasant surprise. The single queen bed room was basic but comfortable and spacious. Staff was efficient and friendly. It's a terrific, low-cost alternative for the Miracle Mile area and perfect for a weekend stay. |

This is a comfortable, well maintained, convenient older motel. It's a good value. More importantly, it's also clean. |

The main and only is because my son and his family are living in palazo acrose the street and we want to be close to them. There is no elevator. The air condition was very old and nouisy. |

Hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. The maid service did an excellent job at cleaning the room. Request for quiet room away from street noise was honored. Within walking distance to the Grove, Farmer"s Market and lacma. H.S. Internet worked well Public areas need updating. Room decor needs updating...table cloth on small table had burn holes in it. A business center/lounge with seating where laptop could be plugged in would be nice for early risers who want to work/check stocks without waking others would be an improvement. |

This was a great find. Reasonable rates, free self-parking, personable staff, and thick walls!! On top of all this, we found the rooms very clean and the location fantastic (walking distance to Farmer's Market / The Grove, La Brea Tar Pits, LACMA and a public park). This is not a glamorous place -- sort of a 70s motel feel -- but very pleasant and convenient. |

Location compared to my needed visits, also proximity to Farmers Market. The place is fairly old but upkeep is pretty good, The staff was friendly. Good value for money. I had a room facing the restaurant/pool area. On Sunday morning poolside talk was popular. At 3:30 am that loud talk is no fun when one tries to sleep. I tried to get the reception to get the people to quieten, but no effect. At 4 am it became quiet. This was the only night with this inconvenience. |

Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Nice basic room. Good price for the location. Was in LA to attend a wedding and this hotel was very close to our destination. Good breakfast place right next door. Close (walking distance) to LA county art museums. |
