The location was ideal. We walked to The Grove and Farmers Market. Room was big enough

While this hotel did not have the highest of star ratings by the industry, reviews from other travelers convinced me this was a place worth trying and I was not disappointed. The rooms were wonderfully clean and fresh. Bathroom very clean. The bed was comfortable and had good pillows. The location was fantastic and within walking distance of The Grove, Farmers Market, other shops, Holocaust museum. Neighbourhood was safe, there is a nice park and library just down the road and a seven eleven only a few doors down. Very convenient.

There was some noise. The main road is busy but that wasn't too bad in my room. I'd recommend some ear plugs. One night a helicopter was flying around overhead for quite a while. The fire station is not too far away. I didn't find it too excessive but some might find it interrupting to a good nights sleep.

Central to most of the sites we wanted to see. Ease of access (parking). The staff was very helpful in printing out my airline boarding passes.

There appeared to be no room service. My wife could have used an elevator to get to the 2nd floor. We could not get a room with 2 beds

the location and the restaurant next door. also the Coffe bean cafe on the corner.

Everything is basic and the room is small if you are travelling with family.

Friendly, competent desk and housekeeping staff.

It was reasonably priced, the room was immaculate and spacious, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the location in West Hollywood was excellent. I was very, very pleased with my stay.

Arriving early before check-in, I waited in the lobby for my room to be ready (no problem since I was early) but there was a gentleman smoking directly outside the lodge doors, and the smoke wafted inside. Not respecting the 20 foot law away from entrances as required by the state, I was going to complain about him... Until he walked behind the front desk to offer assistance. Turns out he was one of the staff smoking right outside the front entrance! Not good.

The hotel was convenient from all points of view. Very good location, close to Hollywood and not far from Beverly Hills.

Nothing - to everything was fine.

It's pretty well located in between Hollywood and Beverly Hills, and the parking is free.

Rooms were a bit dirty and the bathroom needs some fixing up.

Nice light room, free parking, great location.

From this place it is easy to go anywhere by car or bus. The room is clean and spacious. The place is relatively quiet. The owners are very nice and cool. It is easy to park the car and free of payment.

There is no breakfast but in front of the hotel there is a Coffee&Bean coffee or the Farmer's Market place at five minutes. A little far away, I can recommend to go at Sofi's on the 3rd Street just after the Farmer's Market where there are very good coffee and breakfasts. The employees are very cool.

Location is convonient and safe close to famous the groove and farmers market. Only negative thing is that our room was close to the airconditioning equipnent of the restaurant and cause noise at night.

Next to The Grove (Shopping), 10 minutes away from Walk of Fame (by car) - attention: Los Angeles is larger than large!

I particularly liked the front desk helpfulness. Melissa was outstanding. I also liked the shower.

Excellent Value, good parking, walking distance to the Grove

It was comfortable, quiet for a city hotel, clean, very quaint, centrally located, and affordable. It shared an outside courtyard with a wonderful Restraunt.

I would have liked better shampoo/ conditioner, lotion, and coffee.

Our room was huge. The bathroom was also very large and newly renovated. Our room faced the back alley and was very quiet. A non-chain hotel, the place had kind of a retro, homemade feel, but it was clean. There was a big safe in the room to store valuables. The staff was super friendly and efficient. There was always lots of parking available for easy in and out. The location next to the coffee shop and down the street from Grove and Farmer's Market was ideal. Great for stay in lax, can't beat the price.

Top value in central location in West Hollywood. Clean comfortable room and off street parking included. Safe area. Very close to the Farmer's Market (many many reasonable and quality eating options, supermarket) and the up and The Grove (very up market shopping and eating). Seven Eleven in the same block. Good coffee shop across the the road. Swimming pool was good. Great central location to explore LA by car or public transport. Included WiFi excellent.

Our room had a very noisy AC unit.

The staff was very friendly and accomodating. Front desk attendant came out to my car and showed me where to park. Then checking out, I decided to get my car first and another front desk attendant brought me my bill- very nice. The room was plain, but was clean and spacious. Very close to the grove and farmer's market.

Great value for money. Although the hotel could do with some visual upgrading, our room was quiet, clean and of a reasonable size. There was a table with 3 chairs, plenty of storage plus lots of room for bags and space to move around. The bathroom was also of a reasonable size. The parking was free. It is an easy walk to the shops and restaurants at the big new Grove shopping centre as well as the Farmers Market which has lots of very reasonably priced and high quality food stalls and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would certainly stay there again.

The hotel was clean and comfortable and the location was excellent with easy access to public transportation, restaurants, shopping. The neighborhood was interesting to walk around.

It was really good and if I plan to visit LA again, I'll come to Park Plaza Lodge again! The location was very good, in a safe area and staff were really nice!

Our room was basic but very clean. The bathroom was very clean and seemed to be new. The shower was very large and had plenty of water pressure and hot water. The free parking can't be beat in LA as well as the location close to The Grove, Farmer's Market and LACMA, La Brea Tar Pits. Overall a very good experience.

3rd Street is very noisy if you want to sleep with open windows.
