Staff was horrible and the next morning their was no warm water at all so I had to take a cold ass shower.
i did not like that i got back from supper saturday night at 10 and wanted to go swimming. but they told us they closed the pool early because they ran out of towels. i had a room towel i could have used and I'm sure a lot of other guest did too.
I paid for breakfast then when i checked out i had to pay again xaise they said i charged it.to my room so i ended up paying double cause of their mistak .
clean and comfy bed
even tho bed had 4 pillows they were to soft, glad I brought my own from home
Location. Price (as posted online, offline they were asking significantly more). Quality of bedding.
It is an older property but it's ok I guess for the money they asked. They refused to match online price with the offline pricing (I had to make a reservation online at the reception), kinda dumb;
The bed linen was old and most of the room felt old , dirty. staff try to illegally bill me $100 for damage to linen..I took several photos as they linen was old..and we didn't do any damage at all. look like they want to bill the customer to buy new linen..pathetic. .rude staff
shuttle was late both times. got charged $50 but was told was not going to be it had to be returned. room was freezing and furniture was nasty & stained.too much chlorine in pool. microwave items in snack machines but no microwave
My credit card was charged for $50 for incidentals. There were no incidentals so I was informed on December 19th that it would be refunded. Despite four telephone calls I have yet to receive the refund.
Good and helpfull Stuff. Clean hotel. Free parking and wifi.
Very comfortable room with a huge bed. We had accidentally booked an easy access room which meant there were bars all along the walls in the bathroom - lots of room to hang wet towels to do something about the humidity in the room.
Breakfast: lots of bacon, sausages and eggs but the fruit and yogurt selection was disappointing. Only one shower in the (hot) pool area and no hooks to hang your clothes so you had to go back to your room in your bathing suit with little towels wrapped around you. The worst thing was the dryness in the room. No humidity at all. Water pressure in the shower was not great.
Hotel staff was very friendly and the lobby, bar and resturant was very nice.
In my opinion, the hotel looked a lot nicer in the pictures online than in person. Hallways and room were very outdated, could use some serious updates. Room smelled musty. Also the picture online made the rooms look way nicer than in person. Had room on second floor, was excited to open curtains for a nice view but the windows were up too high and would have had to stand on the heater to see outside. The bed was not comfortable at all. Luckily we we spent most of our time in a hospital with family than the room. Like I said, you get what you pay for, and I would even consider this hotel a bit too spendy for the quality. Next time I am in the twin city area I will pay the extra amount for a nicer stay.
For the money there should have been some sort of free breakfast. The bedding was ruff and felt like not all the chemicals were washed out. No microwave in room and had to pay just to have a small fridge in the room. Cable channels were very limited.
you had a pool and hot tub. the price was right.
I liked that they fulfilled my request to put me someplace quiet- no rowdy neighbors or ice machines. The room wasn't super fancy, but comfortable and clean. Next time I have to take a certification I will plan on repeating staying at this facility only minutes away from my destination. The price was very affordable for my budget.
Coffee was too strong - really would have been nice to have decaf available at checkout.
Price and location
They refused to give me my Carlson Club points for my stay saying they don't do that for third party stays! WHAT the H***? I stay weekly at hotels third party for last ten years and have always gotten points. Will keep me from going back! Even talking to 3 individuals, no go!
My husband and I were very comfortable at the Park Plaza Hotel. The beds were amazing and like a dream! The atmosphere was so comfy traditional, yet classy and rich. Very happy couple!
Love the familiarity of booking into the same hotel in Minneapolis.
Rooms could use a bit of an upgrade.
I had a nice large king room.
There were no amenities offered to simple travelers. No free continental breakfast, and nothing for a light snack
The lobby and restaurant area were lovely, and the facilities/amenities were good.
When we first checked in it was late in the evening and the room they put us in had not been cleaned, beds unmade, garbage in room etc... The next room they put us in only had a small window near the ceiling, but we had to spend the first night in that room because no other rooms were available. The next day we were able to move into a nicer room. The rest of the stay was good. I would rate the Park Plaza Hotel Bloomington higher if we hadn't had to change rooms twice until we got a clean and comfortable room.
Parking. Vending was empty and expensive. Hard to find hotel
I liked that the shuttle driver was nice and very helpful, the bartender was also very nice and friendly
The front desk staff was very unclear in there answers and we're not very helpful.
Every thing was excellent
When I come let I couldn't find parking
A little tough to locate even with a gps but worth the effort. Quiet, clean and friendly!
Everyone worked hard to make my stay of five nights very comfortable. It was convenient to the France Ave. activities and very quiet.
The parking situation was a bit cramped because of some potential flooding in the back lot.
Everything was great and I joined the club for points and rewards.
The wifi did not work. There was a wedding at the hotel and parking was already at a premium because the back lot was roped off because of flooding the prior week.
