This hotel is at the end of the beach. Much less traffic and commotion then other hotels. Across the street from the Zoo, park, and beautiful palm trees.
The hotel renovation is generally a good job .Problems include:we could hear when other people closed their doors... Not enough light or ventilation in bathroom.
Location is perfect. Across from the beach and on a quieter part of the strip. On a direct bus route from the airport, with easy access to main attractions. Rooms are comfortable and well-priced. Staff are friendly and eager to please.
I didn't like leaving and travelling back to winter!
Good location at the end of Waikiki. Less expensive than many other hotels.
Good location, great atmosphere.
Location was good not so busy up that end. Views of beach at pool area.
No bar or restaurant in hotel.
You can park for free on the nearby Monsarrat Ave. near the zoo - that's quite a steal. Good basic places to eat right outside the hotel Good rooms though nothing fancy
Expensive for what it offers Not really a "resort" so you should know that before you go. A bit far from the beach/water activities.
The views are spectacular. The hotel was very clean and the staff friendly. We could easily stay there again and recommend to others.
No restaurant inside the facility, but that's OK as there are many around. Non-existent parking but that is the norm in Waikiki.
The hotel was very convenient and the facilities were modern and well maintained. The bed was comfortable and the amenities acceptable.
The room was tiny, with just enough room for a bed and space around the bed to allow for passage. There was not enough room for a chair, desk or other conveniences.
Having travelled from Europe non-stop I was very jet lagged. When I read about yoga at 8am on the beach it made my day! Only prob was the receptionist missed the teacher so u hung around waiting for 15 minutes. Finally I found the group in the park and joined in. Fab!
Great location, lovely service by staff, really really comfy bed, great value for money. Excellent for young couples. Quiet end of town so away from noise which is great.
Pool closes at sunset, but this would be the only thing I can think of
How helpful the staff were
Ability to use a dedicated room to have a shower as our flight arrived early in the morning and our room was not yet available.
Friendly staff. Good facilities
Large corner room looking out towards beach, with great balcony. Location of hotel (on waterfront at end of main street, but close enough to shops). Spacious, welcoming reception area. Safe, fridge and wi-fi in room.
Adjacent balconies faced ours, affecting privacy both on balcony and inside room (not a huge problem though).
The location was great close to the beach across the street and zoo and parks also Starbucks is right there and the growers market is great u can buy fruit, vegies and bread, sweets etc.
I liked my room but the only thing was the aircon was loud while I slept but the bed was sooo comfortable but I didn't have it on while I slept other than that it was great.
Great location with excellent views of the beach and sunrise with few buildings to block the view. Easy walking access to many great Restaurants like Uncle Bo's. Bau Tree Lanai, Michel's, Tiki Bar and Grill. ABC stores were very handy for all sorts of things for self catering breakfast, booze and nibbles. Being at the eastern end of Wiakiki meant is was much less crowded and quieter. Beaches were very clean. We will stay there again on our next visit. Love having ice machines on our floor for the G and T in the evening.
Slightly hard to find a good place for a healthy breakfast. Being at the end of Wiakiki meant with any shuttle transfers, you were the last to be dropped off, not a major issues.
very friendly and helpful staff. room was great. very comfortable and clean
nothing I didn't like
Staff was very attentive. The best price to be right in Waikiki strip and just steps from the beach. Free Wifi is a must! Free towels and chairs for the beach were nice complimentary options. I would definitely stay at Park Shore Hotel again!
Needs a minibar in the room and better beds and pillows. They werent too comfy.
price and location
when checking in and when booking advised them that we may wish to extend two more days. once we were there and wanting to extend we were told they were sold out
Towels and chairs available at the front desk for the beach.
When I arrived to check-in, the hotel had no record of my reservation through "booking.com". Fortunately I brought a print-out of my confirmation/reservation and Park Shore accommodated me. Booking.com and Park Shore need to get their communication tuned-up
We arrived at 8.00 am after a nearly 10 hour flight from Australia. The receptionist was charming and when we told her we were on our way to Portland, Oregon to celebrate our Golden Wedding Anniversary(50 years) with our son she immediately up graded our room and found us a lovely room that was ready for us.straight away. We had a wonderful view to Diamond Head and it made our stay memorable, so we stayed there again on our way back.
The only thing we didn't like on the way back was that our room was high up. It had an excellent view but when you got out of the lift on floor twelve you had to go outside to a narrow passage to get into your room .. The view of the beach was good but you also looked at other hotel balconies. Some had their washing hanging out on lines. They should not do that in a hotel. Again the staff were charming and helpful and as we were only there two nights we did not ask to change rooms. I certainly would have before the hurricane arrived!
This hotel is directly opposite the quieter end of Waikiki. It is still convenient and easy to get around from here. The views are great. The room was comfortable
Very close to night club which was loud one night out of the four we stayed there.
Location was ok .
Bed linens not ironed you couldn't say if they were clean , first time that I see something like this in a hotel.Room and bathroom very small. Pillows were poor, cheap and not comfortable for a good night sleep. Lanai very small had no chairs , can ' t be used. Could not extend the room after the check out hour even for a charge. They said hotel was full but looked like was not. Parking was expensive 25 $ a day. The Holiday Inn Beachcomber we stayed at the beginning of our trip was by far better for service and conditions.
