Park South Hotel  

Die Lage war ok. Abends konnte man ohne Bedenken die Attraktionen Z.B. Time Square zu Fuß besuchen. Das Frühstück war für amerkerikanische Verhältnisse sehr gut. Verschiedene Sorten von Brot, Käse und Wurst wurden U.A. angeboten. Das Badezimmer war wirklich sauber.

Die Zimmergröße war ein Witz, rein ins Bett und nicht mehr bewegen.Wohin mit der Kleidung? Schränke gibt es nicht so wirklich in den usa, ok. Kein Problem, aber es sollten schon Möglichkeiten im Zimmer vorhanden sein, um die Reiseutensilien aus dem Koffer zu räumen. Zimmer in der 7. Etage, wir hatten uns schon gefreut, Schock, die Aussicht war ernüchternd, dunkler Innenhof mit alten bröckligen Steinen und sonstigem Kabelgedönze.Schade, haben das Hotel nach den vorliegenden Bewertungen ausgesucht. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war nicht so ganz stimmig. Auf Nachfrage hätte es für 50$+Tax /Nacht etwas größeres gegeben. Wir sind seit 7 Jahren regelmäßig in den usa und es war unser 4. New York Kurzurlaub, leider nicht so ganz toll. Die weiteren 4 übernachtungen in newark waren aber vom Preis-Leistungsverhältnis gut.

Die Lage ist einfach perfekt, 1 min zur nächsten U-BAHN(Downton/Uptown) - 10 min zum Empire State Building, Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich

The hotel is very covenient to all sights in Manhattan. The rooms are very clean and the hotel is well maintained. The free continental breakfast fills you up until lunch and provides a wide variety of choices. There is a wide variety of restaurants within easy walking distance to the hotel and the east village and soho are a short subway or taxi rise away. Perfect location for visiting New York.

The hotel is very well located, the staff is friendly and it has a very good breakfast, despite being "continental". Even though we thought it was it quite expensive we found its facilities very convenient, including the gym and the business center.

Rooms are not very big.

Location and proximity to my friend's place in Murray Hill. Nice lotions, shampoo & soap.

Room is tiny. Bed was a bit uncomfortable. Could have used additional pillows. Had a view of the vents.

Overall, fine regular hotel with a breakfast and free WiFi.

1) Pictures on the website were much better than actual things. 2) I had a problem - I forgot my wallet and was waiting for my Mom who had an extra card to my accounts. Despite the fact that I had my reservation made through booking.com with a credit card, and reservation email stated that one night rate was charged, actually nothing was charged and they refused to check me in without actual card:( so I had to wait till my Mom arrived which was pretty late...

Very convenient to the East Village and the rest of Manhattan.

We liked the very convenient location of the hotel, so close to the subway line 6 (few steps walk). There were a lot of very nice restaurant in the area. The staff was really friendly and helped a lot, the room was very clean and well furnished, the bed was a great comfort, the room was quiet although on the street side, and finally the fitness room was great. I will definitely recommend this hotel to travelers.

We arrived in the middle of a snow storm and the staff were most warm and welcoming. We had a superior room for four which was spacious and comfortable. The beds were excellent and the bathroom facilities were very good. Cable tv and free WiFi in the room were a great advantage. The best part was the buffet breakfast. This was served in the Black Duck next door and it was simply brilliant - everything from frest fruit, cheese, cold meat, eggs, breads and sweet things as well as fresh coffee and a choice of teas. The hotel was a short walk to the subway and the bus routes which made it a great location to get either up or down town. Highly recommend this hotel.

There is nothing to dislike about this hotel

I really appreciated Maria honoring my request for a room on a low floor. I loved my room and the ease with which I could get to the lobby and breakfast. I also loved the friendliness of the fromt desk staff. I will certainly stay here when I return to ny. Thank you, Linda Doornbos

Very clean rooms, comfortable bed.

Badly in need of refurbishment.

The hotel was ideally situated for getting round New York. The location was in a quieter part of the city, within walking distance of many attractions, but with the subway nearby. There were plenty of places to eat nearby. The staff were extremely helpful and the hotel was very comfortable. A really good find!
