The location is convenient E.G. within walking distance to subways and Empire State Building. Good choice of restaurants at very reasonable prices - Haandi is a Pakistani eatery where many taxi drivers and locals eat. Two meat and a variety vegetables, rice, chick peas etc all for under $10 - staff are friendly and welcoming.Got home via the subway from a variety of places - safe and relatively clean and $2.50 to get anywhere. The buskers on the train and in the subway really cheered up many. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times, it was our anniversary and were given a $50 dollar voucher for the restaurant - thanks Dianne.

The Superior Queen is so small that two people need to squeeze by each other - you need to live out of your bags but then we started at 7:00 am and didn't get back each day till after variety of places. Pay a little more for a larger room if this worries you.

Perfect location in mid-town easy walking to many attractions.Subway 50m away.Smaller hotel with a more personal approach.The breakfast really worked for us .Good healthy start to the day with plenty on offer.Staff polite & friendly. The Black Duck,restaurant attached to hotel offered good standard of food with live Jazz some evenings.Hotel has alot going for it and excellent value for money.Would recommend to friends & family

Good location close to the main city sights, quiet location, wi-fi Internet, free gym, computer&printing facilities. Possibility to have breakfast earlier than scheduled time (for those who leave early).

The room was quite dark and the window needed to be washed. Restricted network - some ports were closed so it was inpossible to use e-mail and ftp protocol - I had to use someone else's free network for this. The hotel charged whole amount (for 8 nights) from my card immediately upon reservation - it has never happened before with booking.com.

Loved the jazz in the black duck restaurant. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great too.

Staff was impolite during the check-in process; person that cleaned room put dirty towels that were on the floor back on the rack our second day there; room was tiny.

Large rooms, great staff, nice resturant / bar, near subway. It was our first time. We will be back every year!

Loved the size of the room and the light. Very comfortable and welcoming. Staff was also extremely helpful and the restaurant attached was well above average. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again.

I thought the price was fantastic and the locatioin was great too. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and lovely.. I would suggest adding flowers to the room or a bright colored pillows since the room is a bit monochromanic being all muted shades of green and olive. I loved the bar and the brunch was to die for...thank you for a wonderful time!

Old european style friendly hotel with great location.

Well the 2 elevators are rather small , specialy if you have many bags and family with you. They get very busy in the morning and they stop on every floor. Maybe some people staying on the 2nd floor should use the stairs instead of calling the lift ;-)
