Understatament, déco design restored in an unassuming way. Casual chic. Absolutely extra-comfortable beds, great terry-cloth robes, towels clean and abundant, toiletry soaps and shampoos just as you might expect from a +$150 per night hotel. Nice prints of the Twenties and Thirties in the corridors and in the rooms. The only elevator is always busy with room service people; anonymous if not irritating, the quite disinterested attitude of the management. Concierge does not offer maps or the usual "Welcome to Miami" booklet, showing what is going on in town, or other local publications (folks, make a tour to the the nearby Pelican welcome desk and see how an hotel can assist his clients!). This results in a complete lack of infos about events (Bookfair, Nascar, upcoming art events preparing for the Basel- Miami art market...). Regarding the building and the rooms, the hotel gives you the feeling of a well preserved beginning of the century atmosphere, but lacks in elegance and details. The bathrooms are very small and old, even if you feel more the desire to maintain the original flavor of the past than the neglect of a failure to restructure.

Location is normal but too noisy due to restaurants that are located nearby. Also people from the restaurants are very annoying and always trying to suggest their services. Valet parking is good. The hotel is really very dirty. It had no renovation for a very long period. In the corridors you can see spiders or spots on the ceiling from water. If this hotel would be located somewhere else, not at Miami Beach none would give 20 bucks for the room. Condition is located not convenient in the room – right in front of the bed and extremely noisy.

We really liked the location of the hotel, we were across the road from the beach and a short walk up Ocean Drive to all the bars and shops. The hotel is also right near some nice bars and restaurants. The Park Central cafe closed at about 12.30 which was good as meant you could have a quiet night if you wanted to! The rooms are very spacious and has a nice bathroom, in the art deco style of the hotel. The restaurant in the hotel is quite expensive, we didnt eat there but did look very nice as you passed it to get to the rooms. There were plenty of other options just outside, including the Park Central cafe which did a nice breakfast.

Everything I imagined it to be! The ambience, the staff, the food, the swimming pool, the roof terrace and of course, the location. Right on South Beach, the hotel was stunning, the staff went out of their way to give me a perfect holiday and I wish I could have stayed longer.

Concierge and other staff were readily available, friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and nicely appointed. We enjoyed the view from our room and the rooftop deck and pool, and also the black-and-white photos throughout the hotel.

It was across the road from the beach, with loads of restuarants nearby. This hotel should in fact be downgraded..The corridors had a permanent food smell lingering in it...morning and night..They had no tea or coffee machines or kettle in the rooms..It would have been nice if they had...The toilet is a disaster...we had to use the toilet sitting sideways as our knees bang against the wall in front of us...the carpet in the room were not clean at all...NOT AGAIN...Tourist beware...this hotel is a rip-off

Convenience - very close to the beach and many restaurants. Staff was friendly. I think it's a stretch to call this a 3 star hotel - at least my room. Very tiny, especially the bathroom, towel rack is placed over toilet and I bumped my head on it a couple of times, bumped elbow on shelves.

The hotel was in a convenient location by the beach. Loved the evening musc, and the staff was great. My door opened towards the outside. I didn't really like that.

The location of the hotel is excellent, in the center of the art deco district of Miami Beach. The personel could have been more helpful. In spite of the reasonable high price of the hotel room the breakfast was not included in the price.

Nearness to the beach and the Arc Deco hotels. Lots of restaurants within a few hundred yards. The smallish room looked onto a service courtyard with the opposite wall a few yards away. This made the room very warm.

We had a pleasant stay at Park Central Hotel. The room service is good; housekeeping is cleaning every day, including new towels. The hotel team took care of a good service; calling a taxi, carrying the luggage, answering questions. The decor is old-fashioned; no art-deco. The rooms have no balconies.

Location and lovely design. A little worn but with some charm. Service in breakfast restaurant very slow(lots of waiters but how many were in the kitchen?). No information that deck chairs on the beach were free for hotel guests. Sun towels were provided but they had to be returned and washed every day which was unnecessary ( a not very sustainable routine)
