On entering the driveway we were impressed by the styling of the huge orange front doors and the quirky retro interior of the hotel. The Parker definitely has wow factor. Our room was pleasantly and comfortably styled. You'll love the Parker if you're into retro chic, it really hits the mark.
Finding our room was a little like a game of hide and seek. The gardens are lovely but do make negotiating the grounds a little tricky. The retro styling while impressive is in need of a tidy up. Some parts of the hotel are looking a little tired.
The bed was super comfortable and the room was spacious. Provided a crib for the baby that was ok, nothing fancy.
We splurged for the patio room which wasn't that impressive. It was next to the employee parking lot so we could constantly hear vehicles coming in and out, starting very early in the morning. Our room was also next door to their maintenance room and there was a barely-there divider to separate our patio from there's. It did not feel private at all, as employees could see right into our patio.
The rooms are beautiful, the decoration is great, the location is perfect, the restaurants are amazing! Beautiful pool when no one is around :)
Our first room smelled so bad that they switched us to another. 2nd room had ants in the bathroom but we didn't complain as we wanted to have a good time. Other than than everything else was wonderful! The pool gets super crowded on weekends
We really enjoyed staying there and the staff were excellent in meeting our needsl Food was excellent also.
Young lady at concierge desk was quite rude. She was the only bad part of our stay. I went back for an earring that I had left in our room and she was not very helpful. I did not think she deserved to work there as she appeared to dislike her job. All other staff were exceptional
Decor, cleanliness, facilities
They wanted to charge more for giving us a king bed.
First off the staff was amazing and very helpful from the minute we arrived. This hotel is very different from all other hotel we have stayed at. We loved the outdoor walkways and the fire pit was also amazing. I would recommend this place to our friends and we will definitely be staying here the next time we go to Palm Springs.
We loved everything!!
Beautiful grounds. No kids allowed at main pool keeps it a relaxing, adult space. Nice.
Starting to get a little worse for wear. Rooms could use a bit of refreshing.
I wish the staff had done a better job providing water by the pool and in the lobby. The one container was always empty. It was hot--water is essential.
The grounds are beautiful. The staff are attentive.
Very expensive for what you get. Insect problem in the room. Unable to reserve chairs by the pool.
The hotel is beautiful however the staff are unwelcoming. They are stuck up and judgemental they really let down a beautiful venue.
There is not enough mirrors in the rooms, nor is there any sound docks in the room. The staff are unfriendly, the staff ruined the whole experience.
the vallet was incredibly helpful and efficient
the Norma's restaurant staff was a bit slow and disorganized
very cool atmosphere grounds are very pretty
rooms are a little outdated staff could have been nicer / more accommodating outdoor furniture needs revamp
poor service, eventhough it was a holiday weekend it is no excuse for poor service. Bathrooms need to be updated. I get the retro thing but that is no excuse for old rusted and barely working bathroom fixtures.
Some the outside upholstery seems dirty. Expensive!
Property, facility and gardens.
