everything..... location, facilities, jacuzzi, room, staff
this place was very comfortable and clean. was a great place and exceeded our expectations. we will be returning to this hotel
A very comfortable room with all you need for a nights stay.
Nothing worth mentioning.
Location and the surroundings at Franconia Gulch.
Hotel is old. We had several problems in the bathroom with sink and tub drainage, toilet that wouldn't shut off. Had to ask for extra blankets for colder weather nights. Guest washer and dryer also older. Dryer took forever to dry items.
Comfortable; in a very scenic area with lots of outdoor activity.
Hard to find. I expected it to be in Lincoln but it was a few miles up the road. No breakfast, which was routine with lower cost motels we were staying in on our trip.
The reception was extremely friendly when we arrived. Location was a short drive from the best hiking in New Hampshire.
Reasonable room, clean and with comfortable bed. Coffee facilities and fridge in room. Right next to Flume Gorge in Franconia State Park, which is excellent.
Heating wasn't on when we arrived and took 2 hours to warm room up properly. Was OK once it was up to temperature, though.
Quiet, Clean, and very Friendly Staff. The hot water was something you don't usually get very much of in a motel. My husband and I were both able to take a nice hot bath. We also visited the Jacuzzi which we enjoyed immensely.
We would have liked to use the Jacuzzi other than between 3:00 pm and 9:30 pm. It would have been nice if we could have gone in the morning sometime before we left. The rooms are outdated, the television is not a flat screen and the toilet is very low to the floor. Had a musty odor and cigarette smell.
The view and the privacy away from town. We'll be back.
Located on route 3 and fairly close to the attractions in the area (you can walk to flume gorge from the hotel). laundry services available. Nice restaurant in the area.
price, big room, free parking, nature view, good point to start hiking.
old furniture (bed, coach, etc.), the shower is old and not convenient but usable. Wi-Fi is a joke, need to go to the parking lot to have a good signal. In general, it seems that motel need a renovation since it quite old, although it is well maintained.
Big, new room with fridge, microwave. Very close to Franconia notch visitor center
wifi signal was weak A few miles from nearest town (Lincoln)
Great location Nice sized room Linens were clean
Cobwebs in room Run-down Large hole in the molding in bathroom looked like it went into the wall Old feel "Balcony view" was of a trailer Broken screens
Ideally situated, comfortable , clean , polite staff and very well priced. We stayed for 1 night and will stay there again!!!
The location is safe, the door locked, the refrigerator was cold, the shower hot, the toilet flushed, all major attractions are just a short drive. Oh there was plenty of ice. The owner was a gentleman that you can't help but like! They weren't the cheapest in the area but close to it. They did do the best with what they had.
Parker's had a stellar reputation years ago to compete with Indian Head and The Beacon.. It appears the owners are making a run on that rep. It looks like they paid a hefty price and had trouble coming up with more money to replace the sagging mattress, the cracking pavement, the doors, rugs and overall tired decor. I apologize for these comments but It is the way I saw it. Would I stay again.........mmm, it depends.
Location. Staff was friendly.
This motel is in serious need of a upgrade. Very dated. Heat did not work.
We were so happy that we could book for one night, as most places in the area had a 3 night minimum stay for the holiday. I had stayed as a child and it was wonderful showing my family the area. It is located in a great spot to see all the sights in the area. We arrived earlier than check in time, but were pleasantly surprised when at 10:30 AM we were told our room was ready and to go on in! All staff we encountered helped answer questions and offered up helpful ideas.
The whole family was sleeping when the phone in our room rang on the shelf between our beds....at 11:30 PM. Needless to say it woke us all up and was a little hard to get back to sleep after that. We were nervous to both go out on the balcony in our room as it moved and felt very unstable. We visited the game room briefly but it looked like a teenagers hang out from the 1990s. Badly painted walls with a different color on every wall with no rhyme or reason, stuffing falling out of furniture, VHS tapes scattered about and a pool table missing half the balls. It seemed no one had taken the time to update many things around the place. Overall we are just glad we had an affordable last minute place to stay and we will look into staying again if we are in the area.
room was exealent view was great on deck ,overlooking mts. price very reasonable. very good service location great not a long drive to diff. locations
Very clean, well maintained. Quiet, peaceful. Great view of the Liberty and Flume mountain peaks from our room. We are going back!
I wouldn't change anything!
Quaint older looking place. Front desk friendly and helpful. 2 double beds in the room, beds were comfortable. $79/night, you get what you paid for.
Rooms are dated, stains on furniture and funny smell when entering the room.
Quiet and not too far from everything that we were looking to do
The room really needed to be dusted good, cob webs in the light fixtures
Parker's motel is the best place to go. The people are extremely nice and the building has a lot of charm. And let's not forget the fabulous Jacuzzi! Come here for a great time!
Little run down
The staff was very friendly and helpful
Filthy dirty, old and dated.
