Hotel is older needs to be renovated and cleanliness is not up to par
The Staff; Kitchen facilities; Private balcony; roominess of the rooms
The in-house restaurant gave us a Xeroxed paper menu with limited selections. For the amount of money you pay for the rooms your should get better.
Great Ocean Views with a nice balcony to sit on. Glad to know they accept pets. Staff was very nice and friendly which is important to me.
Restaurant food expensive
The staff at check-in was very friendly and helpful in giving directions to local places. The young lady that checked us in even printed out directions for us. Clean room and great amenities. Will stay again.
Air conditioner was a bit noisy and the balcony had no screen so we could not leave doors open at night.
Great accommodations. Facilities are great. Place is close by to several excellent eating places.
Not a single complaint.
The staff showed me several rooms all if which were not my idea of vacationing but they tried..
This place needs work in the rooms. My bed was sagging and I changed my reservation to a one night's stay only. The next morning I booked a room at another hotel.
all the many water opportunities, relatively quiet.
parking across the street in a parking garage. Dogs allowed in hotel.
The location was excellent.
We could not control the AC, our room was 64 degrees F. There was no hairdryer in the room. There was an ironing board, but no iron.
Attractive accommodations, the outdoor/pool side bar.
Beds, no smoking on grounds
I felt scammed out of money from this hotel. Evicted from both of my rooms without a cause or warning. When an attempt to resolve the situation was made, assistant manager shrugged me off. Complete disrespect from hotel staff (security guard, bellboy & assistant manager) Beware!
The restaurant had 1 male working as the greeter, waiter and bartender, not a good idea.
Great view and location; friendly and helpful staff
I liked the whole experience while staying there. I had a concern about a couple of situations and brought them up at the front desk. They were handled immediately by the staff.
Right on the beach
Property is old and run down
The hotel staff was very pleasant and kind. Housekeeping was nice and kept room clean. The room had ocean front and could sit on balcony.
Elevator in the parking garage was reported broken on Sunday and was never fixed in a week. King size mattress needed replacing, very uncomfortable. Don't forget to put ID from Hotel on visor, will get a ticket for illegal parking or towing. Had to park 3 or 4 stories up to find parking place.
I've never been to myrtle Beach before so i really didn't know what to expect. The Patricia grand really is a nice hotel and very clean. I had a very peaceful stay!
Refrigerator was great. The pool was nice . The balcony was great!!!!!!!!!!!!
The bed was not comfortable to me. My husband said it was fine. The restaurant needs more help. The steps to the pool were too steep for me. I couldn't go all the way in because of the steps.
The location was fine. We were on the 12th floor in a king suite. Loved the balcony, especially! We didn't have a full ocean view but a partial side view. It was plenty good. The kitchen facilities were nice to have. Enjoyed the ice maker especially. Never had to go for a bucket of ice! We had plenty of privacy. The access to the beach is great also. We would stay there again.
The main complaint I would have is the housekeeping. We were there for 4 nights and I don't think the sheets were ever changed. The bathroom lighting was bad. It was hard to see to do my make-up or fix my hair. Also I don't think the maid vacuumed much. Stuff left on the floor was still there after she had been there.
The staff was great and eager to accommodate all our needs. The facility is older but it has been updated to a more modern feel and there is pride that is obvious. This was the first time EVER that what we see online was EXACTLY what we found when we arrived!!
The Internet connection sucks and must be improved!
Location was great.
Did not like pet friendly policy. Staff at desk with the exception of one was mediocre, the unit we stayed in felt old and worn. Non smoking even at the pool and on balcony was a huge disappointment to the smoker in our group. Having to park across the street was a hassle due to the only parking spots that could be found after 9p was on top level and maneuvering the parking garage was difficult.
The view was great. The room was very nice and clean. Nice new TV. Shower was decent.
My Mom uses a walker and there are NO handicap parking places in front of the hotel. They are all across the street which makes things difficult. The bed needs to be replaced, sloped to the side. Eating place needs more casual foods.
Room was nice. Hot tub was great
The beds were not that comfortable but everything else was great
Being able to wake up and walk out on to the balcony to watch the sunrise over the ocean was amazing. The beds were very comfy. I brought my own quilt just because I feel a little cleaner using my own. When they came to clean the room while we were out that morning, they made our bed up and put our quilt on the bed under their cover. I thought that was nice. The indoor pool was nice. It wasn't cold like the outdoor pool was (we went at the end of September).
The bathroom was very small. If my 4 year old and I were going in the bathroom at the same time, I'd have to tell him to stand beside the toilet so we could both get in and close the door...just like in a small bathroom stall. That sucked. Also, behind the bathroom door, there was hair and dirt on the floor that definitely wasn't ours so they didn't clean it very well. There was also a lot of dust, etc around the edges of the counter top. I paid for an ocean front room and what I got wasn't exactly what I'd call ocean front. It was a room that was on a slant so when the sun was coming up, I had to lean way out over the balcony to even see part of it. If I stay there again, I'll make sure to specify that I want a straight on ocean front room...not a slanted one. I loved the pools but only discovered the lazy river on the OTHER END of the hotel after we had checked out. They should mention that when you check in. My son would have loved to have gone for a swim in the lazy river. :-(
Right on the beach. Our view of beach wasn't direct but we did see the beach and sun come up on that rare occasion.
The room felt damp. We put the heat on for a little while, it did feel better. Of course, this was one of the wettest days here. The room and furniture needed up dating. The price per day not worth it.
location staff was friendly
Bed room faced the street
