Score from 468 reviews Wonderful
Nice small comfy room, and the windows were easy to open.
The bathroom door was too wide when two people were in it, and the front door would not close all the way it was very difficult to close all the way.
Great beach location and east to get to. Staff is always helpful.
Bathroom sink didn't drain but was fixed quickly. Wi-fi and cell phone connection in the rooms is always iffy. The place is worn and very ready for the upcoming remodel.
The Suite had very little sitting area, small eating table only. Would be nice to have a sofa. Breakfast was minimal.
No breakfast space.had to carry down steps to our room
Convenient to the beach. But not too nice view.
In the basement, no cell and WiFi services. The bathroom is small. No restaurant or bar at the premise.
View Access to beach Ground floor convience
Breakfast area was too small with out enough seating to enjoy while eating. Taking breakfast back to your room was not the best.
Great beach access. And a wonderful breeze through the suite. Amazing stay!
Nothing negative to say.
Very clean well equipped suite with a priceless view. The staff was friendly and so responsive to our needs. GREAT LOCATION!!
Some may find lack of an elevator difficult.
Close to beach quiet we were able to relax enjoyed the breakfast
That we didnt have the patio door and fireplace
OUT OF BUILDING POOL POOR BREAKFAST SOUND INSULATION
The staff was very friendly.
The biggest downfall was the cleanliness of the toilet, not impressed. The second day it was cleaned. Much better. I thought the price per night was high for what was included or not included. I had asked for a patio access room. Not sure if they didn't have the availability of not. That was not communicated fort request when booking through booking.com.
Easy beach access
Hard to find the place the first time.
The onsite laundry, the view and the walk to the beach were all excellent.
The wifi was poor.
Being on the beach with easy access. The room was very clean and the staff was wonderful. Would recommend asking for an upper floor room.
We were on the ground floor with alot of traffic thru the hallway.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I needed an extra fan and it was brought to me immediately. The view from my room was amazing, the bed comfortable, the room spacious.
No hot tub, small breakfast area, not much choice for breakfast ie types of bread for toast, eggs. There was quite a bit of noise from upstairs and as I was checking out another guest was complaining about the noise as well. I was happy to hear that renovations are being made soon. I was told a hot tub will not be in the renovations which means I will not be staying there again. Every other hotel I stayed in along the Oregon coast had pools and hot tubs so I will choose a different place to stay as a hot tub is very important to me and my husband.
Loved the location..the cleanliness and friendliness. You can't be the view or access to the beach.
Clean, comfy, right on the beach. Friendly staff. Great price.I don't know how it could be any better.
Because of the excellent location at mid-beach and the great folks on their staff, this was our 4th stay here and we will plan on future visits. Well pleased.
The room was very spacious and had everything we could need or want. Loved the complimentary breakfast, games and dvd's. Staff was wonderful!
I didn't request it, so it's my fault. I use a wheelchair and the bathroom was difficult to get into and it was a tight corner to get into my bedroom from the front door or bathroom. Otherwise, it was great!
First thing you notice about Pelican Shores Inn is that this is an outdated hotel, but... somehow it doesn't matter. It seems set in the right place and the right time. Our room had an ocean view (I think all have) and you can't beat the sound of waves and the view.
WiFi isn''t working. Breakfast is less than minimal.
The staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our room - the beautiful view and clean and comfortable room! Also enjoyed the continental breakfast- fruit, cereals, muffins, bagels, and other choices.
The room was spacious and clean. We had a direct view of the ocean and access to the beach just behind the building.
Not all of the lowest level rooms had a patio. Only those located along one side of the central door had a patio. We thought all rooms on the lowest level had a patio. We would have chosen a patio room if we had known. We may have missed that fact when we registered.
Very clean room with updated furnishings. The bed was extremely comfortable. We slept great with the window open to listen to the waves crash into the shore. Beautiful location with fantastic beach access. Full size coffee maker is a plus since breakfast is not served until 8 am.
The walls were a little thin. I awoke early to the sound of the neighbors bath water running...very loud. For the price I expected a bigger (and earlier) breakfast and a place to sit and eat it.
The staff was very pleasant and helpful! It was clean and just steps from the beach.
Wi-Fi was not very good which was only important for us due to some work related stuff we needed to do.
We thought the location was great, nice to have a pool for the kids plus great ocean views and good beach access! It's a nice, but older hotel, but heard it's going to undergo a complete renovation in Oct 2014 and reopen in Feb 2015. Can't wait to return when it's all done! Great staff, so friendly and accommodating!
Not much, maybe no balcony and the pool area could use a facelift but I'm guessing that'll be part of the renovation process starting in Oct 2014!
