Excellent Location - easy journey to Manhattan from Newport or Hoboken PATH station Excellent view of downtown Manhattan Comfortable spacious apartment
No view of Manhattan from the balcony despite what the literature said. Could not get the WiFi to work and could not get through to the staff as the phone kept cutting out after one minute.
View was amazing, waking every morning to the Manhattan skyline looking across the Hudson River. It was a sight you would never tire from. Great location 10 minute walk to Light Rail, Path train, ferry, and underground subway. Secure apartment, with doorman, handy to shops.
Apartment was not clean. Described as LUXURY Apartment. A real let down. Very badly marked walls. Needed a good paint. No wine glasses or cork screw. Only enough towels for one day each, needed second set. Otherwise you need to wash towels everyday yourself if you wanted clean towels daily. Light and power points not working at all in bedrooms.only 4 mugs in apartment. Cutlery, pans and crockery all need updating.
The location was fantastic with the view of the Manhattan skyline. Friendly helpful staff.
location nice view, proximity frrom all what u need.
sofa bed not confortable.need fabric curtains to protect from sun.
Away from the hustle of Manhattan, only 10 mins away by PATH, beach 2 mins walk, local stores 2 mins walk or 5 to target store, full view of Manhattan, Stunning views, would highly recommend.
I booked through booking.com, and then you go through a company called Pelican Residances, you pay a up front $500 deposit ($250 is refundable), I'm still waiting for my deposit to be refunded, I have emailed the company twice, 1st told has to be 14 working days, having our checkout date been 30th August , date now 23rd sept and still no refund. Emailed 2nd time , told passed to account department. Still waiting..
The view of the skyline was excellent. It was easy to get to the train station that took us into the city.
The unit could supply a little more kitchen facilities like knives, forks, dishwasher powder, etc.
We all really enjoyed going to sleep with the superb view of Manhattan in fron of us. The quietness of the locality compared with Manhattan was astonishing and very calming. The spaciousness of the apartment was fabulous and we never felt overcrowded. The kids loved having their own bathroom etc. The gentlemen at the entrance were incredibly polite and helpful.
The Roku tv system didn't work and after following the paperwork I was given I ended up having to sign up to Roku and pay for Netflix. The kitchen wasn't very clean on arrival and every day we had to take out lots of small dead flies from the fridge. The tumble dryer didn't spin and so wasn't of any use. There weren't any fans in the bathrooms and when the fire alarm went off for the whole building we couldn't really hear it and so didn't evacuate quickly enough. The phone didn't work at first so I couldn't call Pelican for assistance and as far as I am aware they didn't try to call me. I haven't been reimbursed for the Netflix - good job it wasn't very expensive!
Shops and restaurant nearby. Full kitchen also helps a lot.
very nice view and good location.
It is inconvienent to checkin and checkout. There are not to much information about the WiFi access and notice for checkout.
View from the apartment over the Manhattan skyline was brilliant. The suite was spacious and the air con worked!
The key didn't work to start with and we had to get help. The wifi took 24 hours to fix BUT the staff at Pelican suites were as helpful as they could be.
Perfect location with fantastic view to Manhattan skyline from Jersey waterfront. Nice apartment interior.
Kitchen facilities were not cleaned when we arrived. Wifi and TV were in technical problem and unable to use for the entire stay. Security deposit was not yet returned even after 14 days of checkout (actually it has been almost a month after it). Customer service seems not to be able to solve any problem.
- location - amazing view - Really convenient to go to Manhattan using PATH, Hoboken station is at 5 min walk, with a nice walk by the Hudson river.
- Not enough cookware, and most of them in poor condition - The sofa bed is horrible and need to be replaced (problem only if you are more than 4)
two bathrooms and a view of manhattan
Reasonably big for 5 persons Very nice location with park and shops Amazing view from the room Just two stops from WTC 2 bathrooms Doormans are very helpful
Internet could be faster Parking is not for free
The suit is accelent and has a great sight of Manhatten. There are 2 bedrooms, 1kitchen, 1 living room and the washing machine is available.
The location is not that close to the interesting places in NYC. Apart from this, everything is perfect.
The location was superb and the value for money, just fantastic. We had a great week with superb views, brilliant local restaurants, the Skylark on the Hudson is brilliant. Great facilities, good staff, excellent all round
The TV was linked to some cable company which meant you could not get the usual local US stations, not a deal breaker but would be nice.
We are a family with 3 kids, ages 12,14 and 17. The apartment had a million dollar view of NYC for a very fair price. 12 mins by subway (Path train) to 33rd St near Times Sq. A grocery store and parking garage across the street. It was 2 bedrooms. Nicely furnished. We will be back to stay here again.
Like the location and the fact that directly accross the street was a grocery store, liquor store and other convenuences.
The MBR mattress was horrible and sagged in the middle making for a less than restfull sleep. The kitchen was missing the essential cork screw and generally no one is taking inventory at turn overvad there was only one wine glass in our unit #1502
The view is wonderfull. Transportation by subway and waterway us very convenient. The cost if a 7 day pass each for PATH and Metro us only $46 total. You can go anywhere.
Condo could have been a little better furnished with more dishes, dish towels and chairs.
The view was spectacular
The dishes were put away with food particles still on them. The roku left a lot to be desired. Not a fan of the foam mattress.
There was a excellent support from the booking desk, special thanks to Sally We had an awsome stay with the perfect view all over Manhattan!
The view is breathtaking and the travel to Manhattan via the path is easy. There was plenty of space for the family. The neighbourhood is convenient with grocery store and nice restaurants. Staff at the building entrance were very friendly.
Would have needed more towels and was missing one pillow. Cleaning fee was high and not specified at booking...only after.
This has been our most fabulous stay visiting Manhattan. Easy to access the condo. Clean lines, very spacious condo, very comfortable beds and of course sweeping views over Manhattan - breathtaking :). Location, location, location. Easy Parking in Garage, Great Grocery Store, Bagle Place, best Japanese Food we have tasted, 7 Minutes safe walk to the NJ Transit Path Train - if you wish taking the river pedestrian walk you get even more of the sweeping views of the Manhattan Skyline - 24 h access by Path to and from Manhattan for $ 2.50 each way. Very friendly staff here at 110 River Road Jersey City, NJ :) Thank you - you are great.
