the staff was very friendly and eager to help.
the limited access area to the parking lot. drafty front door with two peep holes, one midway down the door(why?) the heater kept coming on because of the draft and it was loud. the bathroom is very small, claustrophobic. The bed was comfortable and the microwave/refrigerator was good, however, the cinder block walls are not appealing. wi-fi worked. When I got ready to leave, I stopped in to grab something for breakfast. I put some of the instant oatmeal in a bowl but couldn't find hot water! The "breakfast area is extremely small with very little offered. granted, the price of the room is low so I guess I got what I paid for. With a few improvements, the place could be very nice but it is not there yet.
Shawnee (sorry if my spelling is wrong) was very sweet. She made sure the heat in the room was at a comfortable temperature before we got there and was cheerful even though we got there after midnight, due to the passes being snowy. This place is reasonably priced and we will stay there again the next time we head to Pendleton.
- Off the highway makes for a quiet night sleep. - Friendly and welcoming staff - Older hotel nicely renovated. New tiling in bathroom and new paint all around. - Room clean looking with a nice clean scent. - Great price for a budget travel. - Basic continental breakfast - I decided to stay at this hotel again on my return trip due to the value and comfort of this hotel. - I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling on a budget
- Off the highway by a few miles. Located downtown. - Older hotel. Drafty older windows. - Noisy heater/AC. - Parking garage could put your car away from your room.
Bed was comfortable
Toilet leaking, electrical problems such as outlets not working and lighting over sink failing.
I stayed 8 days here in October 2014 and was very happy with my room, the inn's location and the staff were always courteous and helpful. I will come back and stay here again, no doubt! The bed was super comfy and the room had a fridge and microwave which came in very handy. It fit all my needs
great service and staff clean room comfortable bed
breakfast area was small
Staff very friendly, room nice and clean, location ok.
The slowest internet in the world, kept disconnecting, drove me insane. Breakfast is a joke, bagels and coffee on a small counter.
I had been traveling on my motorcycle and needed a place for the night. I read the reviews of the motel, and thought that it would serve adequately. Upon arrival I fell in love with the place. The owners are wonderful people, and have worked very hard to revitalize an old and run-down motel. The whole place reeks of 1960's kitsch, and is fabulous. If you want a lot of amenities, stay away. If you want a plain, clean, comfortable room at a rock-bottom price, this is it. Additionally, go walk around downtown Pendleton... interesting place. I absolutely will return, along with my entire family.
The building itself is tired and outdated, although this adds to the experience. because the motel is downtown, it was noisy early on, but this stopped when the sidewalks were rolled up.
his friendliness, concerns for his customers. very quiet,
no outlet for hairdryer by mirror, parking should be designated per room,
We came for the rodeo. It is a great location on the main street, close to bars, restaurants, and the rodeo grounds. The owners are very friendly and helpful
The bed was by far the best part. They were soft and clean. I was happy that you could let your dog stay in the room.
The breakfast wasn't really a breakfast. More like a snack. Location was sketchy. Lots of bikers. You could smell old smoke in the room.
Refrig freezer section was working. Had a table and two chairs so you could easily eat a meal together. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Refrig was small. Had to ask for more coffee (only gave us one) every day. Bagels and orange juice every day for breakfast, not much other stuff unless you liked sweets. Coffee at breatkfast area was weak and didn't take very good.
Very little to like other than the location.
The condition of the hotel and the rooms calls for an extensive remodel. The bed must have been ten years old or more. Rooms were not very clean.
Easy stop for us as we pulled in late and left early... Good shower and AC worked well.
Breakfast is very lacking and we didn't eat there!
Clean, nicely located, quiet and fairly inexpensive.
The beds are hard, lumpy and uncomfortable - even a feathertop would help. Nicer beds would have made the stay perfect.
The place was really clean and the owners were very friendly and accomodating. Queen bed, Fridge, microwave, iron and coffee maker for 55.00! Would gladly stay there again.
Great price, nice size rooms. Sheets were clean and the location was good.
I got there and they did not have my reservation, so we had to pay a little more money and that upset me. The whole purpose of booking was to make sure we had a room and what the price was going to be. Plus breakfast was bagels and oatmeal. No place to eat, because the booking are was very small.
Standard motel room - neither very good, nor very bad compared to other motels. Good value for the money though. Owners are renovating the motel step by step.
TV was not working properly. Pendelton as such is everything but a charming town.
Clean newly remodeled rooms. Nice staff. There is a nice walking trail a block down front the hotel that runs along the river. It's downtown but easy to find. There is parking in the garage below the hotel.
There is a very small place for the continental breakfast, but honestly the price is right for what you get. The owners are open to suggestions to make it better.
Downtown with shopping and stores galore
Air conditioner blows right on the bed
The bed was very comfortable. The room was quiet.
Breakfast was very limited, but the owners are working to improve it.
Staff was wonderful.....room was quiet and clean.
I liked the location and the price- the room was clean and comfortable-- but nothing special. Owners were super friendly when we checked in late Thursday night. It was nice to have the small fridge.
The garbage trucks right outside at 05:45 am (Fridays) . the complimentary breakfast didn't start until 07:30 and we wanted to be on the road by then- we only had one bath towel so I had to dry with a hand towel after my shower.
Was all good
The enthusiasm and sincerity that the man at the front desk /owner showed for offering good value and quality lodging was reflected in the cleanliness and convenience of my room.
