The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and the linens smelled of fresh laundry like home (no chemical or stale smell). Grounds were tidy and the whole place just gave off a homely welcoming feel.
It's too bad that the neighboring houses can't clean up their properties.
We got there, checked in, went to the room, and it hadn't been made up. The manager barely spoke English, and had to check on the room to see if we were telling the truth! The new room had the bed made, but was filthy. There was a lot of road noise, and the hotel is right next to very busy railroad tracks. We won't be staying there again.
Good location, comfortable rooms, great decor
If the advertising says breakfast, there should be more to eat than bagles, yogurt, cold cereal boiled egg and microwave burritos. I want them to bring back their great biscuits and gravy. Or some type meat. Continental breakfast, is not breakfast.
How cold the room was at first, loud people above us
The price is good, the room was EXCELLENT... Clean comfortable cozy inviting!!!!
Trains.... A little too close but, you DO get used to it.... I slept fine!
Rooms were fairly clean Bed was comfortable Bathroom amenities were nice Plenty of parking Price was excellent Nice country atmosphere/motif Breakfast Close to freeway/easy to find
Room faced road, so some road traffic/noise at night Nearby train that came through several times at night (Granted these aren't so much the fault/issue of the property, but keep this in mind if you are a light sleeper)
It was very quit comfortable and a very nice room
They did not have breakfast as the claim they do and the office closes at 9:00 as on booking.com says they are open until midnight
bed's were very comfy. rooms are nice and clean. missed some of the "things" that you used to put out like hand lotion....but that isn't a deal breaker.
extremely dissapointed in the lack of breakfast. we have stayed there before and there has been a nice breakfast....there were a few things in the fridge to microwave. as we were leaving some boiled eggs were brought out. you need to remove your "breakfast" sign in the front, it gives the impression you wont have to go buy breakfast.
Excellent value for the money. Very clean, neat and updated. Nice breakfast with lots of good options.
The only drawback in the train is relatively close. Nothing a pair of earplugs didn't fix.
It was very nice to reserve online & have everything ready when we got there. I just want walked in, signed paperwork, paid and done! The staff was very friendly and the room was very cozy, clean, and comfortable. Will definitely stay there again if ever in Pendleton. My husband is disabled and they gave us a handicap room as requested, very, very accommodating!!!!!!!
the cleanliness and style of the rooms, the breakfast space and the options there
While the location was easy to find, it was close to a busy street and noisy
This hotel is great for the price. We payed $43 a night with a small pet deposit of $10. My husband and I were really pleased, and it was cozy, clean, and comfortable. Only a 5 minute drive to casino and very nice management, we Will definitely return.
the price the breakfast bed/pillow comfort clean bathroom pleasant staff
It was clean and the bed was comfortable. We did hear trains when we were awake, but they weren't that loud and did not bother us while we were sleeping. The breakfast was very good. It was a great stay for the price.
very clean, good bedding, good location, good value
RR mailline one block away. Neighbors dog barking at night.
The price. The room decor. Small limited breakfast included.
The ice locked up in the office. Burned out lights and defective lights. No fan in the bathroom.
Liked everything except the room AC wasn't cooling enough to sleep with and was really noisy.
Carpet had stains
Comfortable bed Clean bathroom Breakfast adequate
Staff curt Train very close-goes past often, but air conditioner sound blanked it out No place for toilet bag in bathroom
beds were comfortable
cramped bathroom crummy shower dirty carpet
Maybe some towel racks in the bathroom.
Trains rolled past less than a block away all night. A loudly barking dog seemed to be awake all night as well. The staff acted like it was a bother for them to be there.
the room was nice, cozy, and clean. The bathroom was also clean. The premises were quiet.
The front desk clerk was grumpy and unpleasant. There is no access to the ice machine, the front desk clerk has to get ice for you. We needed ice for our cooler, so waited until the office opened at 8:00 a.m. to request ice. At 8:05 a.m. we knocked on the front office door because it was still locked and there was nobody there. The desk clerk eventually came in response to our knock, made a snide remark about not being open yet and us not being patient, and then complained about having to work on a Sunday. He also yelled at someone's dog in the middle of the night, which was much more disturbing than the dog.
The carpet was filthy
The price was very good on booking.com.
The breakfast you can forget. When we were making breakfast at 8:30, no coffee was there and really no food. 3 eggs that was it. And some muffins. But no butter. It is a bed and brakfast without really brakfast now. In the bathromm were laying old towls behind the door. We stayed in the last 7 years around 9 times there. Every 2 years, during our visits in Oregon, 2 times. It was always very good there and we liked it very much. But it looks like this really nice motel is slowly going down. Very sad.
