soft beds, staff was very kind and helpful. Quiet, very friendly price was well within our budget. I would recommend Rugged Country Lodge to anyone going through Pendelton.
I have very bad knees and needed to walk upstairs.
Clean, Comfortable cosy room. Best quality WIFI service I have ever experienced in any motel in the USA.
Noisy train runs behind motel every few hours
Awesome room good selection of tv channels trains don't blow their horns as they're going by at night so you can hardly hear them go by at night
Really run down hotel accross the street but the landscaping of country lodge helps hide it
The country setting and very nice decorated
It smelled horrible hair in the bed and my TV stopped working
The room had character. It's a little off the main travel route but worth it for the value. The breakfast had a nice variety.
Small room no counter in bathroom for makeup train noise
Some cute decor.
Room smelled, put on 2nd floor without clerk asking if that would be a problem since there were no elevators. Had to leave heavy suitcases in car, take out what we needed. Couldn't check out in morning, office was supposed to open at 8 am....waited till 8:45, still no clerk. The carpet was horrible, many huge stains, found stains on the bed linens.
everything the furniture is beautiful it's clean rooms are on inside of building(most)
the stairs but next time will ask for a ground floor room.........I didn't specify when booking carpet was dirty no bars of soap
The price was great, the beds were comfortable. A great place if you are just passing through and don't want breakfast.
Check in staff was less than friendly, almost rude. The breakfast may have been been finest it was mostly gone when we got there and no one was around to restock (at 8:00!). We stayed two nights and our room wasn't cleaned.
The room was very cozy and homey.
The bathtub had not been cleaned. There was a dirty ring around the bottom of tub and there was hair in the tub. The carpet was extremely stained. There was no soap in the room to wash your hands either.
The room was comfortable, decorated nicely, and friendly helpful staff.
The rug was dirty looking.
This lodging is close to Wildhorse Casino and much more affordable. The rooms could not be cleaner and the bed, comforter and pillows were the best. Our room had two opening windows and the fresh air made for a perfect night's sleep. We discovered a gem.
nice loud train!!
Unique to say the least. Not what you might assume to find behind the outside walls. I travel to pendleton once a month and have fir the past three years. I wish I had learned of the Rugged Country Lodge years ago. I am now a loyal guest every time I come to pendleton.
Well appointed rooms. Good quality furniture. Excellent breakfast, friendly staff. Great price. Liked it so much I stayed there again on my return trip out of town.
The motel across the street looks like a dump spoiling the view from the front doors.
to many stairs. I have bad knees
We thought they were ok rooms for the price and the breakfast was excellent.
We didn't like that our cel phones did not work in the hotel. We can't remember but we think that the internet was intermittant also.
The rooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable and affordable.
The neighborhood was a little seedy.
the rooms were clean and roomy we were there for meeting and had four adults in room never felt crowded the staff was great very helpful loved the retro feel
The room was very nice and clean, the bathroom even had a window. The breakfast choices were a lot more than you can find in other motels, i.e. hard boiled eggs, burritos, juice. For us this was a perfect place to stay for one Night during our roadtrip.
The location has nothing to offer nearby, but this is okay when you are on transit.
Price was in the ball park.
Room downstairs. Dark Insects
Easy to find. A/C works well.
Put seat cushions on the wicker chairs! Plumbing needs updated.
Comfortable bed. Breakfast was good.
Very noisy and dirty. train tracks right behind rugged Country Inn. Also found bug in bathtub.
Clean rooms, comfy bed, quiet.
Really enjoyed everything.
Very cute decorating and the breakfast burritos were good!
Trying to find parking for my big truck.
