For a sight seeing trip the location was excellent, within walking distance to major attractions.
The water temperature while showering fluctuated wildly. At first buring me, then freezing me.
It was very convenient staff was nice
Rooms were outdated Rugs were worn and old Beds were very small Walls had sanded bad spots and needed painting Bath tub showere cold water did not work
There was a mouse in my room and the sink was clogged. Asked for help but no one showed up.
The lobby and outside of the rooms were beautiful. The staff was very helpful and nice.
Once you went into the room, the bathroom was not the cleanest. Things were falling apart. The pillows were flat as a pancake which made it very uncomfortable. Where our room was, there was the loudest music in the streets or something playing until 3-4am. Barely slept at all, which made our outings the next day very difficult.
Dirty corridors stains (vomit ?) in carpet, not vacuumed during our 4 day stay. Dirty bath, flaking paint, window was 1 cm open, could not be opened or closed. bedsheets too small for bed.Heating very noisy.
The location is good
The appearance of the place is need of upgrade. The carpet through out the hotel looks dirty could use a good cleaning or better yet, be replaced.
Our upgrade when our first room didn't have a working shower
For the price, it was a dump. Our first room had cigarette burns on the bedding, looked like it hadn't been painted or fixed since the 70's and the shower didn't work. Th bed was extremely uncomfortable and we avoided it.
Rates of the room
Everything else apart from the very nice man working in the bag drop off location, and the maid who did her best to make a run down and dirty room seem as good as it could be. The hotel is in need of investment, to be honest I would not stay there again in its current state.
room in desperate need of refurbishment the room we booked was not available girls had to share bed very poor for price. Would not recommend to friends
Everything was easily accessible.
Old tired room , and ceiling ,,,!!!
a Clean room and bed
Christopher checked us in and was charming. our room was cleaned to a very high standard daily. We are repeat customers and will be back.
Strong smell of cigarette
Big spacious lobby.
Out dated needs a lot of work. Rooms need to be cleaned better. I think for the money we as travelers pay it should be put to up keeping the room's.
The lobby has a beautiful decoration.
hotel location was excellent, and was kept very clean and tidy
Room was very cold, heater in room gave no heat out and fan was very noisy
Everything. I stay here because easy to commute and eat halal food.
We were able to get from the airport (JFK) to the hotel on the train. Way cheaper than taking a cab or shuttle. The hotel is located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, so it was the perfect location for everywhere we wanted to go.
There wasn't enough space in the room.
too many elevator's
there's no breakfast there's no fitness room
The staff was outstanding. I've stayed here before and the rooms were not that bad. This took the cake! NEVER again!
We were in room 1118. The shower had sections of it missing and falling apart. The room was certainly one of the older ones. The Beds were just awful !! Hard as a rock and one made noise every time you moved.
Called Front desk about What we didn't like, our room was changed. Room was warmer, all the lights worked, but still no working TV for first two nights.
First night, we were assigned to a room that was very cold and two hours of running heater on high, no change. On of the lamps as well as the TV did not work.
