the maturity of all the staffs.
Location was good
Room was poor with bathroom grouting black, tiles cracked and this was in the upgraded room.
Price and location were excellent. The bed was very comfortable.
Bathroom was badly in need of renovation - rotting woodwork, old grout, rusty heating unit. There had been some attempt at repairs but very roughly done.
The central location in New York, so easy to get to all the best bits
An expectation that a tip is expected every moment a member of staff is spoken to or offers a service
We have sent you a letter..
Elevators were plentiful and hotel had many amenities.
Bed was a doubletter but seemed much smaller Long slow line checking in
Location was good . Bed very comfortable, good decor and good sized bathroom .
The 500 club was far too small for a hotel that size too many people standing and long queues for the coffee machine . Arrived at midnight and didn't get checked in for over an hour. They should provide seating in the queue !!
Location is brill right in center of everything room was great cleaned every day staff where friendly and helpfull had no problems during our stay would stay again here
Everything about the place. Fits my needs perfectly
Rooms need updating
Confusion amoung staff,Tv out of fashion, old bathroom almost rusty
The place needs more lighting and hallways look dreary.
Fantastic and convenient location.
Slightly shabby and faded feel and a little large and impersonal.
Location is excellent
Rooms small, carpets grubby, window did not close, was stuck open.
The room was very clean, love that you can tell the hotel is old.
Our room the heat wasn't plug in. Tired to plug it in and the outlet didn't work. The light switch didn't work had to turn lamps off by lamp switch.
Location and safety.
Although rooms were clean and tidy they do need a bit of an upgrade even if it is just painting the walls and 'lightening up' the bed coverings, linens, etc. They looked very drab which made you feel 'drab'. Less heavy furniture in the rooms would also create a more 'airy' space.
Location is very good
Waiting one hour to chek in
near penn station walking distance to times sq, central park, park ave, freedom towers, empire state building and all the shopping too
no kettle in room
Location was great opposite Madison square garden. Easy access to penny station .
The room was very old and basic. The bed was very bad and uncomfortable. Considering the money it cost to stay the bed should have been better.
The rudeness of the man that calls the taxis outside the front door. We had a taxi booked, it was pouring rain and he refused to allow the taxi to pull up outside the door for my daughter who is confined to a wheelchair, when I requested that it be allowed he shouted across the footpath that he did not give a damn about my daughter, this sort of rudeness would no be tolerated in Ireland
LOCATION - VERY CENTRAL TO ALL AMENITIES
ROOM WAS TERRIBLE - TINY FOR A TWIN ROOM PRICE I PAID. BATHROOM WAS DISGUSTING STAFF RUDE AND VERY LONG WAITS TO BE SERVED AT THE MAIN RECEPTION, EVEN AT 4AM IN THE MORNING WE ASKED FOR A BIGGER ROOM - OFFERED ROOM WAS HUGE, EMTY AND SMELLED. TELEPHONE CALLS FOR 22 MINUTES TO THE UK COSTED OVER $140 WITHOUT ANY NOTICE OF CHARGES. I TRAVELLED ALL OVER THE WORLD AND THIS HOTEL IS THE WORST I HAVE EVE STAIED. IT LOOKED PRITTY ON THE PICTURES BUT WHEN AT THE LOCATION - WE WERE VERY DISAPPOINTED.
The hotel has an excellent Lobby and a convenient cafe, but other than the location this place is the pits
Difficult to find your way to your room -poor signage. The electric sockets hang off the wall and are scarey dangerous. The heating in the room failed on the first night. But after 24 hours of complaining we were moved to a nicer room - still sockets hanging off wall. It took 24 hours to get decent towels and pillows.
