Location was just right.
Check-in was poor. Reception staff were not helpful in moving the guests to their room as soon as possible. Additional staff in the reception area could be very helpful to waiting guests. Overall the hotel reception and the rooms look tired and unattended. Bathroom plumbing not attended to regularly - drip drip drip all night no matter how tight you turned off the faucet or shower head. Staff have no concept of service.
Great location for shoping and sight seeing. Right in the middle to everywhere. Spcacios room. Great value for the mony spent.
Old room facility and furniture and old carpiting. Very noizy. You hear the emergecy vehicles sirons the whole day and night.
Check in and out takes to long.
Nothing filthy smelly rooms filthy with rodents
Rooms filthy smelly rodents present at night book at your own risk. Disgusting rugs coverrs mattresses with bugs.
The location was excelent and to be fair in the seven nights we stayed the most we time we spent in the room would have been 10 hours a day
The room had loud noises from a lift and perhaps a boiler that went through the night. There was a locked connecting door to a room next door throgh which we heard all the neighbors loud converstions through the nught. One night we came back and our room ad a very strong smell of cigaretts which came from the room next door. Just a sad old hotel
this hotel needs renovation from A to Z
small and old room, no free wifi even in the lobby, no fridge, small bed with only 2 pillows.
Old carpet, beds. Heater did not work and front desk did not speak English.
The general state of the place, dark rooms, no coffee/tea making facilities in the room
The hotel is run down. The room I stayed in was not very clean and had a very unpleasant odor. The A/C only started cooling at 2 AM. The A/C vibrated like it was about to fall apart. There were too many extra charges: 10.95--14.95 per day for WI-FI usage which was very slow. A 2.00 charge for couple of minutes to use a hotel printer. Ridiculous charges for a one star hotel at best.
The location is wonderful, opposite Madison Square Gardens and in the centre of all activity in Manhattan
We booked a room with two separate beds was not available. When I pressed that I wanted 2 separate beds and not a room with a kingsize bed they gave us a room with two single beds next to the elevator It was a horrible experience with the noise of the elevators not allowing us to sleep very well! Definitely not worth the money!
the staff was ok.. quite nice at the reception but outside everyone is just rude.. the shower was quite good.. the first hard shower head i had in a hotel but the shower itself was a bit too low.. i was only there for the location and that was a biiig +! 15 mins to times square and shopping all around me..
don't expect anything.. to all people with high expectations, stay in another hotel.. to be honest, for me it was perfect... i just wanted the perfect location and that's all the hotel has.. a bit loud and it looks a bit messy..
The location is very good right opposite the garden.
The staff are very rude. makes you uncomfortable to ask questions because they would give you short 1 word answers. the lobby is flashy but when you go to the room it looks like bates motel.. my window would not close but I was to scared to call reception because of how they treated me. bed sheets were dirty and old. cracks and spider webs on the ceiling. TV was old with fuzzy channels. I just wanted to cry it was bad.
Location, in the heart of the theatre, shopping district. Cheap but there is a reason for that.
Rooms tired and need of update. The room also faced a huge neon light bill board so disturbed sleep. Get a room high up if you stay there.
Room wasn't cleaned daily, never had bedding changed at all during the week, only fresh towels left.
very thing was good all that's missing is a sports lounge.
the price was a bit to hi per night but all in all my stay was ok.
Rooms are spacious. People very friendly and helpful.
Hotel is very old, rooms need some fixing up.
It's close to everything.
Hotel staff is so rude, they treated me like I'm nothing to them.
very poor rooms. the hotel need lot of work and update
Made the mistake booking this hotel
Old, smelly, very busy hotel
Filthy room (the kind prostitues are murdered in), dingy corridors, poor plumbing, 45 minute check-in, brusque/ rude lobby staff, the website whick makes it look like a good hotel
The carpet was very old and very dirty/in need of repair
