The manager on staff during my whole stay was very rude, and for that alone I will probably never go back. Other issues - thin walls, noisy tenants, room not dark at night, and not-filling breakfast - were to be expected for the price.
The location and price were great. It was a cute facility and definitely had character.

We were overlooking 1st Avenue so the rooms were quite light at night and the road is noisy so if you are a light sleeper go for a room at the back.
Great location near Pike Place Market. Large rooms with shared bathroom and comfy beds. I'd come back!

The breakfasts were good, but all simple carbs. Some type of protein like eggs or sausage would be an improvement. Unable to receive WiFi in the room.
We enjoyed the street view very much. Water view next time for a change of pace. Awesome common area lounge.

Location was great

Going up the stairs. For an older couple --hoo boy!--.
View is spectacular, breakfast really good, beds comfortable and staff very warm and inviting. Always a good way to meet other travelers

- Bad wifi - Not that clean bathroom
- Good ambiance

There is no staff to welcome you. Supposedly they emailed us a punch in code, but we never received this, so getting in became a real problem. We phoned the emergency # and had a bad connection so that we could barely hear the code. Finally got in. Room on inside of building (skylight only) was extremely stuffy. No control of temperature, and it was too hot during night.
The location is wonderfully handy to everything downtown. The "living room" is large and has a great view of the harbor.

WI-FI weak and sporatic. Some strange smells in the hallways. No elevator.
We had a lovely suite, clean and very comfortable with a beautiful view of the bay. Breakfast was perfect for me: Coffee, juice, a bowl of fruit with yogurt, fresh bread and raisin toast. I wish we had been there longer, as we only stayed two nights and had to leave before breakfast the second morning! The location is great for wandering Pikes Market and Pioneer Square. Close to the Monorail, and lots of restaurants and shopping. My dear husband was shocked to find no tv. I was delighted. If we have the opportunity to get back to Seattle, we would definitely try to stay there again.

Other guests were noisy, slammed doors shake the room.
Price was great for a convention weekend. All I needed was a room to sleep in, and I knew going in the room would be small and the bathrooms were shared. Breakfast was fantastic, simple but just the fuel I needed.

breakfast serve at 8 a.m. to late if one is a business traveler no self serve tea or coffee! This was a big deal for me! I missed having my evening and night tea very much and it was unsafe to go out as a single woman at night!
home like feelings

It lacked upgrades...kitchen cabs falling apart, entry doors in obvious need of repair, broken tiles on bath vanity & floor, no TV or any form of entertainment, old musty carpet, mish mash of garage sale furnishings, no personal touches one might expect from a bed & breakfast like cheese & wine in the afternoonit seems as though there are relying on only location to fill rooms.... We will never be back , very disappointed.

The breakfast was being served from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. while many other places start that at 7 or even sooner. I was there for two nights and in the mornings, I needed to leave at 7:30ish in order to be at my meeting or at the airport. I didn't get to have breakfast there. In general, I think the price is very high knowing the fact that you are only getting a bed to sleep on! The batthroom is shared, there's nothing to eat or drink at evenings or night if you need something.
Location is very convenient, just a few blocks away from the metro and bus station, next to many restaurants and bars, and has a view to the sea from its second floor lobby. The furniture and supplies were a bit old but very clean. All in all, convenient for a short stay

Shared baths, but there were three near room so no problem.
Location, location, location, nice staff and view of Elliot Bay.

Liked everything, but would have been extra lovely to be able to brew a cup of tea while relaxing in the lounge afternoons and evenings:-)
Location was perfect for us...easy to get to via train from airport and convenient for renting a car for a day trip. Also very clean, well appointed and cared for.

The walls were thin so you could hear your neighbors in the hall and in their rooms but everyone was respectful and tried to keep noise down. The breakfast is light so just use it as a start before exploring the market's treats.
For first time Seattle travelers, the location cannot be beat. Located IN Pike Place Market is fabulous and allows you to enjoy the hustle and bustle along with the quieter times. We started every morning here. The view of the water is breathtaking. The other guests were friendly and offered great advice on sights and food.

Never met such an unfriendly staff in B&B.

Breakfast is all carbs.
Great location, feels like your staying at a friends house, a lot of character, love the pictures of Rome.

Great service. Friendly people. Close proximity to downtown attractions.
13 June 2014
Street noise kept me up most of the night. People yelling all night. Also security weak. front door was locked and secure but the balcony was unlocked and the door propped open..... Breakfast was fruit and bread.
Staff was friendly

The sheets on our bed were very well used, were stained, and in my opinion should not have been put on a guest bed. The internet was very slow.
The location was excellent, so handy to everything we wanted to do, with excellent restaurants nearby. The bed was comfortable.
22 May 2014
No room fan or radio. Really? Breakfast of raisin English Muffins and dry Kaiser Rolls....With Pike Market a block away, you couldn't get fresh bakery goods? More like a food bank than an intiment B&B breakfast.... Come on......step it up....
6 May 2014
I would have liked some protein with my breakfasts, such as yogurt, cheese, meat or such. Fruit and bread alone didn't fuel me. And I was surprised it was all from Costco instead of the Market right next door, but I suppose that's a cost issue… The street-side rooms are very noisy!
Perfect location for city exploration. A short stroll to great restaurants. Just a few steps away from the Pike Place Market. Lindsey was a wonderful host, a dear.
