1- noise of construction starts 8 in the morning 2- no minibar 3- no alcohol bu the pool 4- workers everywhere 5- you could get cought to the workers hen you are naked, they might show at your balkony suddenly 6- roomservice mostly never answer or never bring the orders 7- got to go wallgreens to get water 7- 10 days 5.000 usd was not worthed at all but no chance to change the hotel cause city was full It was the worst experiance ever had, booking.com should be more carefull

Do not stay here until construction is complete. The endless sound and vibration of jackhammers starting at 8:00 each morning made we want to leave!

the staff were terrific under the cercumstances... (they had to work under difficult conditions as the hotel is under a major renovation. Cuystomers including ourselves were not told by you that this was the case. The windows are all covered in plastic to protect them form debree during the renovations...therefore there wasn't a view of the ocean etc. Many people were complaining about lack of internet access, us included.

Just love the perry can't wait for it to be finished

The fact there is no loyalty programme and the prices will go up when the construction is finushed

Location was wonderful and the rooftop pool was fantastic. Concierge (Angela) was excellent in her suggestions to us.

Was horrified to find the extensive renovations happening. This was not advised anywhere until after you have booked, which constitutes false advertising in my opinion. The walls between rooms are paper thin, particularly the doors seem to made of nothing, as you can hear a glass being put down in the other room or someone just sniffing their nose. I hope that gets improved in the renovations. These are tow reasons why I think the hotel is currently overpriced. If you are going to take in guests while undergoing renovations, you should at least reduce the price you are charging.

not enouf hot water for a bath under construction was woke up at 6:30 AM

Jose Sanchez at the beach was great. Jose at the pool was also great.

Too much noise not told of construction until arrival.Needed a late checkout asked for 130 and was denied. Even after dealing with the construction and blocked windows. The water in tub did not work. I spent 6 days there and checked out on a tuesday they could have offered a place to change if my room was booked.

Outrageous! The Perry is currently undergoing a full Exterior renovation. Currently all of the concrete balconies are being dismantled and most of the exterior doors are permanently closed until the work is completed. Jack hammers at 7 AM.....right there on your balcony. Heavy grey concrete dust in the room brought in around the old door seals pushed by the ocean wind. That nice pool on the roof, the roof top bar, many exit doors to the ocean...THEY Are all closed. What I am describing IS NOT a portion of the hotel, IT IS THE ENTIRE HOTEL. AVOID THIS PLACE! They should NEVER be booking it and it is out and out FRAUD to show the pictures of this "pristine" hotel because it is a full on construction zone.

The hotel was good, room are specious.

1- There was re innovation in the Hotel, so the view was not good due to the dust. Balconies wee closed. All the day noise, which didn't allow to relax. Access to the beach and pool was dusty. 2- No Coffee maker in the rooms. 3- Checkout timing is too early ad no flexibility.

I did not know that there are 40 craftsman working on the fassade, hoorible noise, could not even understand my own words.

Staff was realy nice and helpful. We had a problem with our room and it was delt with right away and fairly.

Construction is going on and they are not at 100 % but it will be super nice when they get done.

Very expensive breakfast and parking. Deposit from card 150$ for each day of staying, besides payment for room. So we stayed for 5 days and 750$ was blocked! So You need to have this amount on card or in cash in order to stay there or You'll be very surprised.

The staff at The Perry are excellent and very helpful ,at the entrance ,the reception ,at breakfast everyone .

There was construction work which started around 8-8-30am everyday . The receptionist at the gym was not very helpful .

with the volume of renovations going on, the price of the room should reflect the inconviences put on the guest. the hall way looked like it has not been vacuumed in some time and the room needs a deep cleaning, like taking the once a month vacuuming in the corners and along the base boards...

I was not informed about the construction taking place and that it would be noisy during the day and that I would have no balcony access

I like the location of the hotel. It is out of the fray, in a quiet area. It is also clean and I love the rooms. The girls checking people in are fantastic. Especially Cindy. I had a slight problem with my reservation and she made sure that I had nothing to worry about.

I really enjoy the rooftop pool but not this time. There were a lot of children up there and it just changed the atmosphere to not relaxing. I also think the waitress is horrible. She did not come around to ask me if I wanted anything. I went up to the bar to order a smoothie which was sixteen dollars and I had to go back up to the bar to pay and then she expected an extra tip. Also, the older black gentleman that gives out the towels was rude. I noticed that when I was staying here before. This is my fourth time staying here and it is so nice that I do not even mind the construction.

The hotel was under construction. Jackhammer noises all day from 8am till 6pm. They should notify guests ahead of time instead of just apologizing when you arrive.
