Location very close to union station (and its shops!) was perfect for our purposes, staff was friendly and helpful Breakfast only available at the adjacent irish pub, I missed a continental buffet option, but it's only a minor thing

It is close to the Capitolio and to the subway station. The room is very comfortable. In the evening, there is not much to do around the hotel.

I requested online a corner room facing Massachusetts Ave and got exactly that at check-in. Our room was very nicely furnished, all amenities supplied, and very spacious even after two luggage racks for our two pieces of luggage...had a couch and leather ottoman/coffee table. The bathroom was beautiful, clean, and the shower was always hot. My hubby loved the flat screen tv with all the channels. Fran at the front desk was very friendly and so helpful even at 5:45am!!! Anna with housekeeping was also very friendly and so accommodating in the mornings. Only small downfall was that I could hear a lot of laughter from the Dubliner late at night and early morning. We also decided to eat there one night. We waited about 30 minutes for a table at around 6:30. Finally got a table in the bar. We had to ask to be moved out to the patio. The food was not that great...an Irish bland burger and hard piece of potato pattie that replaced a bun. My husband had the Irish stew that was fair with some not-tender meat chucks. It was two expensive and our male waiter was so very slow and forgetful...still left a tip. Will not eat there again, but will definitely stay st the hotel again. Union Station is only 2 blocks away so we ate breakfast at Union Station at Mc Donald's most mornings, and had good Greek and Italian and yummy desserts there at cheaper prices. Great location to all the sights also to Union Station for train to bmi...$6 To dc and $14 to bmi... Tour trolleys, Metro, etc.

The hotel was extremely clean, comfortable, and really quiet. The only noise was the workers on the hotel being built next door. The location was great. Convenient to all attractions. We walked everywhere. We will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to dc.

The room was small, but lovely and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The water pressure at the sink was not good but better in the shower. It would have been nice to have a microwave and frig. The air conditioning was minimal, even with the fan on high and we could not open windows. In warmer weather, we might not have enjoyed the room as much.

Great location, next to Union Station. Clean room, very comfortable bed. I asked for a quiet room and got one at the back of the building that was pretty quiet considering the location. Overall, a good stay. Two complaints: WiFi connection was consistently terrible. My phone could not make outside phone calls. It took me three reports over two days before I found a front desk staff person interested enough to reset my phone.

It's a private hotel if you don't want to be near many people. The room was very small and cluttered. The bathroom was freezing because the window didn't keep the cold out. The ice machine wasn't on our floor, had to go up another level to get it. Walls were very thin, so we could hear people in the hallways.

The room is comfortable and well equipped, you are provided with coffee and tea, which is replenished daily. The staff are friendly and the cleaners are effective. The room is quite small, not a lot of room to move around once you put your suitcase down.

We were traveling from Australia and we booked at last minute for trip to washington. The location was perfect close to transit centre. And walking distance The hotel was clean and room comfortable and supplies good We found the dinning area/the Dubliner pub disappointing, The staff were rude and not professional, would not be recommending this as a good Irish welcome as per the mission statement,
