Comfortable room, decent breakfast buffet
Needs improvment . Room 238 were to filthy, broken light shades
No breakfast at all! You better be there by 8am for breakfast or forget it! We got nothing at all & were travelling w/8 yr old grandson. Advertised as having breakfast, but when food ran out, too bad! Their "serving breakfast" depends on amount of people eating it & when hotel is full, there's not enough food.
served the purpose for us. Was fairly quiet on 3rd floor in spite of many high school groups there. Bed was comfortable.
You get what you pay for. The breakfast was not all that great. Not what I pictured. There was a lady in charge of the breakfast who decided to vacuum while the breakfast was set out.
The maintenance staff was very helpful.
The hotel was in the not so good part of town I guess. So constantly had to watch my vehicle due to the not so fortunate wondering around the parking area
The room was spacious and clean
Lobby was not well lit.
Convenient to where I was having business with.
The staff very polite the room and the bed very comfortable!
Bar isn't open...anytime during the week when I stay...older carpets
bed and pillows were great, really large rooms..with fridge and microwave..and the Breakfast was very good...hot eggs, potato, sausage..and fruit.
Breakfast we had to waite for egss, bacon, potatoes. How could all three be empty at the same time. No planning the the part of the kitchen
Windows where dirty and foggy. window screen was torn, not very good AC, decor is outdated, reminds me or a seniors home. You can see it in front desk personnel that they hate their job; also rude.
Bed was comfortable,
Price a little high. The old Piccadilly Inn was lovely, the University Inn resembled an old worn out Piccadilly Inn. Room was okay but carpet was torn, and electrical socket had no cover. Refrigerator very small.
Daily breakfast. Housekeeping did a good job. Comfortable beds. Cablevision and Wi Fi good. Also hotel in good location.
We didn't like the strong odor of disinfectant or not sure of smell. Also the beds were not very comfortable. There also was a lack of heat in the bedroom. Plus the decor was outdated. Carpet throughout the hotel was dirty especially in the stairs.
We really liked the location of the hotel. It's close to shopping and tons of dining options at pretty much walking distance.
Facility was old rundown and not clean. Wifi didn't work. Elevator didn't work. "Business center" computer was not working.
Swimming Pool & Hot Tub weren't operating!
Bathroom was dirty. Light over sink didn't work.
The location made me nervous and twice during the night someone tried to get into our room. We were thankful for the interior security locks on the door. We took all of our belongings out of our room before breakfast so we wouldn't have to worry about someone getting in and taking our things while we were out of the room.
The room was large, nicely decorated, and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was pretty good with scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal, coffee, juice, english muffins, and fresh fruit.
Breakfasts is just ok.
It is very close to Fresno St., the college that we are visiting.
Bad wifi, old facilities
Location; big room, big parking space
The breakfast buffet was terrible.. there was hardly any food available..people had dropped food everywhere and stepped in it..dirty dishes were piled up next to food counter..not very sanitary..did not eat there for the two day stay.. not what was advertised on website..
The location was good.. rooms were nice and the cost was good
Old and dirty. Iron didn't work. Close by an outside gate that was opened and closed for over an hour. Not sure if it was employees or guests?
Hotel was not well kept. Everything was cheap, carpets were not clean around edges and behind things. Breakfast was very poor quality. I was no a business trip and the wifi did not work the entire time I was there.
The staff were friendly.
The building looks as if this may have been a decent hotel, but that must have been a while ago. We had a very disappointing experiene, especially for the overpriced rate we paid through booking.com. When we got to the hotel the first we noticed was the terrible detergent smell from the kitchen area. When we got to our room none of the lights were working, the phone was unplugged and the security lock on the door had been torn off. When the girl working at the front desk came up to check for the lights (there was no other personnel available) she noticed, that all lamps had been unplugged from the wall outlets (we hadn't realized this in the dark), which if anything else is proof that the rooms are not very well maintained. While this was easy to fix she asked us if we'd like another room instead, which we agreed to because of the broken security lock - in a hotel like this and it's partly dodgy surroundings a functioning security lock on the door doesn't seem like the worst feature to have. So she showed us to another room. This one had a literally stinking bathroom (from either detergent or the shower curtain) and a lightbulb that had been broken off by someone - again the hotel staff hadn't noticed or cared. So she asked us, if we wanted another room. Well, why not...? So she took us to a third room. We didn't even walk in because just by opening the door you could tell that this was smokers heaven but everybody elses reeking hell. In order to and a room searching odyssee we decided for the second room (the one with the stinking bathroom), and the girl suggested to bring a lightbulb (well, great idea!). When she returned she asked if she should replace the broken one. Well, actually - yes! I really didn't feel like dealing with broken glass at this point. The (probably underpaid) staff generally seems to be untrained and rather uninterested in pleasing customers. The pool was out of work, due to the season.
The bed was comfortable.
Didn't like how thin the toilet paper was. Some nice 3-4 ply would've been better then that transparent tissue paper.
Loved the bed size and room size. The bathroom was a comfortable size that came with a phone! (how cool is that?!)
Asked for a room close to exit/entrance. Got a room right next to an entrance that would not read the key, was not accessible.
Spacious room, comfortable bed
Lobby and area outside were not so clean.
Room was very nice a large bed and very clean. Bed was soft not hard.
