Horrible,it was dirty. Did not have WiFi. Did not have non smoking Rooms. Totally run down. We were so disappointed.
It was inexpensive.
Not very clean, and the wallpaper was peeling.
location , staff, parking.
cleaning, linen, services, swimming pool, breakfast.
want to say the staff was warm and welcoming and seen to our needs thanks to Cliff , Becky R.J, Kristal AND TRACY
unfortunately we picked a smoking room our only complaint ... and all non smoking rooms were full ....
"breakfast" was a packaged donut type pastry with no alternative choice. Room had no microwave, no refrigerator. Room across the hall had door pulled off hinges and propped. Staff tried to be friendly, but not very professional. Staff did not know correct address for GPS entry to locate facility.
The room was clean, staff friendly, water pressure good.
The so called 'continental breakfast' consisted of prewrapped muffins (one which had a green spot).
Staff was courteous Room availability upon arrival water on shower had good pressure Staff are aware of rooms condition and justified it appearance by sharing that soon they are moving into a new building.
The room paint was peeling off in different areas Ceiling falling in pieces no telephone in the room no radio Tub mat is stain The cost was high considering that they are under construction.
This is my 3rd stay at PierII Resort and each stay I was in a different room; however, I have been completely pleased with how quiet this establishment is! I am a very light sleeper and I've slept well every time I've stayed. This is a major deal for me!
Of the 3 visits, WiFi only worked once. I'm okay without being connected but it's disappointing to think it will be available in the room and isn't upon arrival.
The staff treated us very well. We had a great time and will definately be back. It will be our go to spot when we just need a weekend get-a-way!
Location and outside appearance
Cleanliness of inside and cleanliness of room. Walls dirty, old furniture, some broken doors.
I was able to park my boat with ease, and the charging system worked good.
I stayed in room 103 March 30- April 6 2014. I was greeted by the staff at the front desk and during my check in I was informed I would have to leave a damage deposit of $50.00 which would be refunded at check out if no damage to the room. Also during the entire week a dog in room 105 barked and wined, I understood that this room was occupied by the manager. Also during this time the tv in room 105 was on the entire time and at some points so loud you could hear it down the hall to the ice machine. During the week my sheets were never changed.
I loved where my room was; facing an open field. The bed was really, really comfortable and it was unbelievably quiet. I rested very, very well.
I don't have any negative comments about my stay here!
We had a great stay.
There is no buggy to carry luggage on
No tv no wifi ratty blanket no hair dryer dirt around edges of bath & bedroom hole in bathroom ceiling where there should have been an exhaust fan
No hair dryer of Tea
The staff and the views were amazing.
The staff was friendly. We called 2 days b/4 to insure that our room was on the ground floor, non smoking and were assured that's what we would have upon arrival. We checked in,given door keys and proceeded to the end of one of the buildings. There we looked up at the outdoor 35 to 40 steps to reach our room. Went back to the front desk - this is not going to work!! The clerk told me that "THEY" had moved us just that morning. She started searching for another room. Now there was 2 other cars in about 80 car slots. No other rooms availabile? She said everyone was probaly out fishing! Well no thanks. Let me get the manager. In fairness he offered to move someone and put a king in the room. By that time, we were exhausted with the situation. As we did not see the rooms, we have no report on the inside facilities. Front desk area looked tired.
#1 deceptive pictures on line 2 huge berm instead of lake view 3 pool #water and area not maintained, looked worn out SOMEONE TOLD US THAT THE BERM SUPPORTED A CANAL BUILT TO PROTECT THE LAKE. JUDGING BY YOUR REVIEWS, LOOKS LIKE THAT CHANGE OF VIEW TOOK PLACE ABOUT 4 YRS AGO. THE BOOKING PICTURES NEED TO BE PULLED UNTIL ACCURATE PICTURES ARE PROVIDED.
As a light sleeper, I loved that staff assigned me a room on the opposite side of the road so it was really very quiet.
I thought there was Wi-Fi in each room but the building I was in wasn't set up for Wi-Fi. The alternative was to go to a separate building where the lobby is and use their computer there.
We loved the relaxation fact of the entire experience we would go back in a heart beat
We were they for a wedding and at the last minute our DJ cancelled. The hotel staff immediatly obtained equiptment and a DJ and set up at the wedding site. They really saved the day. What a miracle!!!!!! God Bless Cliff and all involved.
clean bathroom helpful staff
stained carpet, old furniture
Location Uncle Larry's across the street
A little bit of a musty smell
Plenty of outdoor outlets to recharge boat batteries.
Dog crap all around the area where I parked.
