Featuring in-room spa services and a traditional seafood restaurant, this luxury Fisherman’s Wharf eco-friendly hotel offers beautiful views out over the San Francisco Bay. Valet parking is available....
Score from 758 reviews Excellent
Discover the charm and elegance of France in the heart of downtown San Francisco at this family-owned and operated hotel, ideally placed within walking distance of vibrant Union Square.
Score from 113 reviews Very good
Everything went smoothly & the room was a good size & comfortable. This hotel I chose because of its location close to Fisherman's Wharf with all that has to offer by way of dining options, etc. Easy access to city centre.
No bad experience.
Brilliant stay and we would stay here again
Location and breakfast buffet.
The hotel doesnt have a driveway to park in while checking in.
Great location and friendly staff
The revolving door.
Issue #1 Let's first start off by saying that the phone number on booking.com is wrong... Both on the website and on the confirmation email. Issue #2 We were driving up for the weekend and on the drive up, we called to see if there was a possibility to check in early. When the representative answered the phone, he didn't give a professional greeting. All he said was "Front Desk". That threw me off because I wasn't sure if I had the right hotel since we had to search for a phone number and booking.com had the wrong umber listed. The representative said that they don't have an early check-in so we'll see you at the scheduled check-in time. That was poor customer service. We get there a little early and double check to see if we could check in. The said they had a room available so we were happy and it kinda made up for the poor service. Issue #3 We walk to our room and the hallway smells like weed. This wasn't on just one occasion. It smelled like that several times on our way to the room. Issue #4 Parking is horrible, not bad, HORRIBLE! Let's just say that if you plan on leaving for dinner and coming back later, don't expect to have any parking available when you come back. The parking garage doubles as a public parking lot for those who visit Fisherman's Wharf. After driving around the garage about 3x, we finally found a spot from somebody leaving. The other thing is that the offer valet service, but they block the other cars who are parked there. So if you're parked in a slotted spot, valet will park another car in front of yours. They had a line of cars parked in front of others because they don't have designated parking spots for valet. Pay a little more for the Marriott or the Holiday Inn, both right across the street.
Very convenient to get to Fisherman's Wharf and many of the city's best tourist attractions. The room was quiet, comfortable and clean and provided a haven to recover from long days of fun in the sun.
Location and parking......bed;-)
Tjis specific room we had smelled like pee pee, and was handicap room. Also very far from elevator.
Very close to restaurants and attractions at Fisherman's Wharf. Fridge in room.
Continual overhead noise - like a herd of elephants! Very thin walls. Mould in bathtub, chair upholstery dirty and ripped.
Spacious rooms close to Fisherman's Wharf and bus/trams for easy access to everywhere. Convenient business centre and helpful staff.
Good location although a very touristic neighborhood. The Valet service very efficient, you send them a text and they reply with the expected ETA of your car. Super cool - therefore the price charged is abusive. $50 per day.
Noisy room. Seems like it is a wooden ceiling, you can listen to every single step of the people above, even noticing that they were not heavy stepers. By walking on our room, I could notice that the same might been hapenning to the room below us. Valet is abusive, $50 per day.
Excellent quiet location, close to both Fisherman's Wharf and the cable car into the city. The hotel was comfortable and spacious and the staff were particularly helpful and polite.
The pressure in the shower had very poor pressure. The room was expensive but not out of line with similar hotels in the area.
The rooms were very nice. The staff was wonderful and very friendly. The hotel overall was excellent.
Location was good for access to fishermans wharf
First room had wallpaper peeling off walls, smelt damp and mouldy. Requested to be moved. Second room had loose tiles in the bathroom floor, which seems to have just been recently renovated. Rooms are generally dated. Renovations could have been done more effectively.
Stale Bar area, limited drink selection
Comfort and location.
Confusion regarding complimentary breakfast. Ordered a cappuccino, got a macchiato.
Parking too Expensive at $45 Night
This is what we called an 'Origami' hotel, as the walls, floor and ceiling appeared to made from paper. After hearing unavoidably listening to the conversation from the next room until 11:00pm we were woken at 4:00am by the person above us walking back and forth to the bathroom (6 times) presumably getting ready to leave. Our room (172) was over the delivery bay so we were then woken at 5:00am with a constant stream of truck engines. This was the worst night sleep me and my family have ever had in a hotel.
Location, location, location. Walking distance to fishwermans wharf and Columbus, Chinatown is 15 min walking, no need to drive.
Cost of parking.
Great location, staff and caught it at a time that I got a very good price.
Location and help.
noise from street at night.
not so far from the warf little italy is not so far which is a great place to hv food
it was too expensive at the period we stayed in but it's the new year's prices
Good location and comfortable bed . Big TV SCREEN
Rooms were old and had a bad smile
Great place to visit SF great location and nice place to rest!
Not many facilities in the hotel.
The staff were extremely friendly, the location was just 2 blocks from Fisherman's Wharf and everything was within easy access, trams, hop on hop off buses and booking tours. A really relaxed atmosphere.
Our whole trip went so well.....no complaints at all, just wish we had one extra day !!!
