We love the location. We really really love the beds! Rooms are very nice. The staff is very helpful.
The last stay we had the noise outside was bad. The rooms on the front side are quiter.
room was very nice and comfy.. nice desk staff etc..
while I think it's a nice hotel... the room was so noisy we didn't get any sleep.. Street noise was very bad and trucks outside our window started about 4am.. I think there was a loading dock.. If you stay here.. request a room that isn't on Joseph street and on the inside area of hotel... thankfully I had lots of coffee to get through my meetings the next day
John at the front desk was awesome at check-in! Great place to stay!
Liked the location, room, concierge services, front desk staff, taxi availability, restaurant recommendations.
When we checked in we were not told about facilities like the gym and first floor courtyard. Would have liked that mentioned as we might have used these.
I loved everything about the hotel!
The location was great. room was spacious. .
No restaurant, could hear everything outside, people above you and besides you, hard to get help with a cab from staff. Rooms are a little old feeling.
Modern look and good staff to greet you upon check in. Secure elevator key access to Club level rooms. Great housekeeping staff always a pleasant greeting if passing in the hall while they worked to keep your room immaculate.good concierges they know there city. They helped make my stay very enjoyable!!!!
Bar could be a little larger. Pre-Wedding parties can take up most of the room. Menus could be a little more extensive on wine/bar snack and deserts. Club room could be bigger but breakfast eggs were good for a buffet service.
Nice size of the room, good pillows, comfortable bed.breakfast ok, excellent espresso!
WiFi not working in the room.
Location was excellent!
Original room we were given was off the street and VERY VERY noisy. The hotel is ok, nothing special. Could use some work-elevator very noisy. Bathroom fan was loud each time you turn the light on.
Excellent front desk staff
Room had a musty smell. Mould in bathtub
We have always stayed at the Marriot across the street. This year we wanted to try something new. Your rates were more reasonable and we enjoyed it very much. See you next year
Very good location; nice sized room; comfortable bed; able to open windows in room; friendly staff.
Had trouble the first day with key in elevator, but the problem was fixed after that.
I loved the ease of access of places around me.
Breakfast was not complimentary.
My king room was a suite and very nice. Luxurious bath products. I also liked the lobby bar.
My only complaint was not getting maid service after the first night.
walking distance to all Fisherman Wharf activities.
Very nice with exception of comment below.
The guest in room 384 above us were bouncing off the floor most of the evening and very late into night causing a poor night sleep for spouse and I.
The location was perfect for what we wanted near to the wharf and all its attractions and central for traffic links. Although slightly off hand and brusque when we checked in ,the staff after that were very helpful and considerate.
Couldn't understand why the bar closed so early,(last orders 2245) my wife and I spent most of our days visiting tourist sights and walking about the wharf area, at the end of the day it would have been nice to have been able to sit in our own hotel bar and have a quiet drink but it closed too early, I noticed several guests returning from a busy day asking the bar staff when they closed and thereafter having to go out again.
clean and comfortable room and the staff helpful and friendly. perfect location.
breakfast not included and to take it in the hotel has a non insignificant cost
Area was 10 minutes walk from Pier 39 Breakfast was good
Air conditioning system was like an aircraft taking off in the bedroom every time it started (which was about 8 times per night)! Could do with a bell boy at reception as we had to carry 6 bags to the room with no offer of assistance.
location was fantastic hotel was nice and clean
We asked one of the concierges for help with one of our plans and they basically lied to us. They told us there was no parking where we wanted to go and basically that the area was private and they didn't like people walking around there at night. She then proceeded to try to sell us a bus tour ticket. We declined and did what we wanted anyway and found out she was full of bologna, on all counts. Also, parking is stupid expensive
A nice, modern hotel with very good location.
Pricey, however considering SF standards, still OK.
The location is great. Just a short walk to the pier. Front desk and bellman first rate. Polite and helpful.
Room was not as clean as it could have been. Hotel needs an update. Rooms need a facelift.
