I loved the friendliness of the staff with the exception of one person that I fortunately had to deal with only one time. i loved the size of the room. I loved that the staff went out of their way to make me comfortable. I loved the large tv. I loved the old world charm of the room, the large bathroom and closet. I loved the closeness of the hotel to all the shops and eating places and of courst the beach. I loved the pool.
The young gentleman at the desk when I first arrived that night. He was a bit of a smart alec and rude. Everyone one else was fantastic especially Joell and Jessica. The bathroom did sort of smelled bad. But other than that everything was wonderful and I would stay there again.
Too small it smell bad it was dirty that I had to go to the store to get bleach and Lysol too clean the bath room that you can't fit in that tiny room and spray the bed down cause we brought down the sheet it was fill of things and the room smell so bad that the next day we check out my husband can not take it one more nite. nasty room and small and the price was to high for that tiny room.
Our room was beachfront, the door handle to the balcony was broken and hanging loose. There were pieces of broken floor on the balcony, the drawer beneath the oven was hanging loose, the floors were dirty, no wifi was available, the front desk woman was abrupt and rude. We had a group of people that took over the pool area, partying and playing their boom box, set up a grill and gyrated to music which was loud and inappropriate. They dumped their charcoal around the palm trees. Just no control or management encountering the unruly guests. Floors were needing a scrubbing, very beat up bathroom tub and toilet. I would never stay there again.
Being on the beach
rust on the bath, shower head, coffee pot didn't work, price was too high without any breakfast facilities.
Location was great
Too much partying, guests of hotel had beer cans/bottles everywhere.
Laundry there was only 1washer 1 dryer
The Bathrooms are too old.
Cleaning prices is high
Location of the hotel it was walking distance to just about everthing
A/C unit in the room was loud the water preasure wasn't that great and the water facet in the sink if the bathroom needed to be fixed
It wasnt loud
I was supposed to have a non smoking single queen facing the beach and it was not non smoking and it was a doctor ble and facing the dumpster
on the beach
small room, large furniture? poorly kept ..... Iron fell apart when I removed from station!!!!!!!!!!!! did not need the remote that had no back on the battery!!!! was close enough to change stations manually. Smoke detector was covered in plastic??????????????? Glad there were no problems! The bathroom/bedroom was a bit too intimate and was poorly kept!!!! Wi-fi ????????????? If you spent more than night here wi-fi would be the least of your concerns
I liked where it is located and it was close to my friends so I could meet up with them. I thought the shower was good. I liked having a fridge/freezer.
Its not that much money to replace sink; rust stains in the bowl, bath needs updating. The chain on the door wasn't functioning. The floor wasn't swept or mopped. It actually looked like it was mopped but not vacuumed/swept. Creepy all around. I was near the dumpster and the room was way too small/unfit for human living. Good thing it was just 1 night! NEVER again.
Great location, The PierView hotel is located in the most active part of Fort Myers (FM). Outside look of the building is OK. Great and direct access to the beach and is beside Nemo's restaurant, which is one of the best places to eat in FM. Cable and a 42 inches TV.
Hotel rooms are deteriorated. The bathroom needs total remodelation. Bed clothes needs to be renew, one of mi pillow suits has a very akward stein. At night, you can heard everything, yes EVERYTHING, that is taking place in all the others rooms in your floor, and they are like 14 rooms per floor. Wi Fi is very poor.
Older facility, needs remodeled however for a facility on the beach it was just fine.
We were there 9 days black mold in bathroom cockroaches in sleeping area our sheets were never changed until I did it for us. It's loud the front desk people didn't smile once during the nine days. Had it not been Mother's Day week and weekend we would have changed hotels but none were available during the dates we needed. Very unhappy and never going back.
Location was good. But that was the only thing this place had going for it.
Poorly priced for filthy rooms, hair and stains on/in the comforter, sticky film on sheet covering bed, door did not shut securely, and there was sand on the bed that was "clean". Overall, cleanliness was horrendous.
It was dirty and dingy. Good for college kids. False advertising made you feel that you were getting the suites instead of the crappy and dark and dingy rooms off to the side.
Very small room. Lumpy mattress
No hot water in the room, bathtub backed up, doors were missing safety devices. Changed rooms, but locks were also insecure and no wi fi service. Orkin people stormed into my room while we were sleep at 8:20 a.m.
The fire alarm start ringing at midnight. Nothing happened but they couldn't turn if off so we should check out in the middle of the night with a baby to look for a new hotel nearly. I'm waiting the refund asap because they charge is still in my credit card. A terrible experience! Not again!
The pool and the beach
The small size room.
Room was filthy. Room was small. Room was cluttered. No parking. Room needed maintenance & upkeep.
View from beach front room
This beach front room was an upgrade - large kichen but + $140. Rooms were old all need updates.
Located at the beach, very well equipped rooms.
For what the rooms offer, they are too small - too many things and stuff inside
Fantastic beach access; pretty exterior colours
We were in 2 rooms; first one overlooked busy Estero Blvd and was in desperate need of complete overhaul and was visibly dirty; 2nd room had beautiful beach view and was cleaner however needed sprucing up.
