We actually accidentally booked the room one week too early but because it was late in the season, we were able to re-book without a penalty. Easy walk from the Ferry and the downtown. Quite street.
This is run by a management company so there is no "live-in" Inn keeper. It was OK for us but it is nice often to have a person right there to welcome you and make sure everything is fine.
The location is terrific as you can walk to everything. The staff was courteous. The bed was clean & comfortable
The place is very run down. There were absolutely no amenities. Wi-Fi did not work on our floor. The breakfast was stale & meager.
The location is central to downtown shops and restaurants. The Inn was quiet enabling a good night's rest.
Clean and simple room. Great location, right near all of the great places in town.
Quiet building, didn't see one other guest around the whole time.
We had a perfect stay at the Pineapple Inn. All the staff were very helpful and welcoming, the location was perfect and the room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. Would absolutely recommend to anyone and will definitely stay there again!
Overall everything was great. They did a really nice job with continental breakfast.
The water pressure for the shower was on the weak side.
very nice B&B w/ breakfast
managed from offsite location, no staff present
Location was excellent. Continental breakfast was adequate. The Inn appears very clean.
Of the amenities listed, two were lacking in our room (The George Pollard): no cable tv (there were cables, but they weren't hooked to anything) and wifi (guess our room was in a black hole because we got no signal whatsoever). Also, the mattress needs replacing, it was uneven, lumpy and slanted on one side. One of the pillow shams was torn and the outer door to the brick patio area needs repair (there is a large area of rot along lower edge). Finally, not having a concierge on the premises is a problem. I called the phone # listed for that person to ask about the wifi and the cable tv, left a message and no one ever called me back. Not cool.
Inn is a close walk to town. Staff was wonderful. Room was a nice size and the bed was very comfortable.
When we arrived there was a bit of confusion and we could not find any staff. There was an envelope waiting for my friend but not for me. It turned out that my room was not ready but I had to call the reservation number to figure it out. Also, while I was happy you kept my luggage while we explored, it was kept in the open sitting room where anyone from the street could walk in or walk out.
Location and ground level room with courtyard. Van driver Natalie was a gem.loved free van to Sumner House property and beach.Staff at summer house we're helpful
No one at Inn to check you in or tell you about area etc.No one to ask when no ice in freezer. Felt odd to not have a responsibil person there on property.
Location and shuttle to pool and beach in Sconset. Love the staff and the place is very clean.
The bed was not that comfortable. A new mattress may be in order. It sagged on right side of bed. Stayed in room #10
Quaint Hotel, super location, friendly staff
The Pineapple Inn gave us easy access to town, eating and shopping, while access to The Summer House gave us a resort away from town experience. Fantastic!
The Inn was a wonderful value for the price we paid, great location, friendly staff, comfortable room with plenty of space. Pineapple Inn served our needs perfectly for a one night stay with a light breakfast in the morning.
If you're a 19th century great grandmother, the decor will fit your fancy quite well...some might call it charming.
no working telephone in room no one available at office....ever\ no one at desk......ever
The experience couldn't have been better.
The room was perfectly nice, clean and comfortable and centally-located.
The place seemed abandoned; the only staff we saw at all was at breakfast, and they didn't speak. It was a strange experience. -
Good location, but quiet and "homey".
Hauling luggage to third floor
Excellent location, large private bathroom
Small room (aside from the bathroom), with no night stands, but comfortable.
Staff very friendly
My girl friend had bed bug bites on much of her body, heavy on her legs. This was a very special occassion, and ruined the trip.
They lied about the internet -- most rooms don't have it and they promised to look into adding airport hubs to boost the signal every day and simply didn't. I suspect they say this day after day, month after month, and year after year to guests. They also promised the owner would call me every day and she never did. They ran out of tea day three and day four. We ran out of TP day three. They showed us some alternate rooms for internet and one didn't have it either and the other had an ugly rusty bathroom. We had paid for a room with a patio and they were unwilling to compensate us for this change if we moved. The breakfasts were meager with just fruit, cereal, toast and yogurt. Day three and four they were out of plain yogurt and only had the diet kind. Very disappointing.
Staff was excellent. Very courteous and accommodating.
Room small but adequate. clean, bed comfortable and nice bathroom. Great location, and shuttle to Summer House.
No reading Light when in bed.
Very friendly staff, great location, beautiful rooms and Molton Brown toiletries. Loved having breakfast outside in the sun on the rose covered patio area and free transfer to the Summerhouse beach resort in Siasconset with use of the pool was an added bonus.
Rooms and bathroom on the small side - but that seems to be typical of the area.
The Location was great near Main Street
The amenities were very poor no tea/coffee making facilities in room and we didn't see any management other than when we booked in. Very expensive for a small room with a bed to sleep in.
