Score from 1831 reviews Very good
convenient, pleasant, accessible to other attractions and events. A definite fit to our laid-back relaxation desires. We had been there many times with our pets and plan on coming back
the only thing I didn't like about this hotel was the person checking us in, he had no customer service skills.
the overview of the pool was amazing and so convenient.
the restaurant is great. the room was very spacious. we felt comfortable.
Dilapidated rooms that could have/should have been refurbished years ago. Better yet, the buildings need to be torn down and a buoy anew!!!
Location is in best location to walk just about anywhere
room was good, it's an older hotel, but can't beat if for the price
Bathroom fixtures especially the shower did not work well
We like to be able to park at our door.
I liked everything
Bed had a broken leg and had a permanent 45 degree lean. Had to use an ice bucket to level it.
The room advisor was some what rude and actually made a female friend in our group feel afraid to make a room request.
Old western feel of surroundings
Requested fridge diabetic. Not there and none available. Why did you book us when requests can not be met? 2nd day brought fridge which froze the contents. Rooms are old, poor shape. Just because we have a dog does not mean she is dirty or will wreck the place.
Linens were wonderful and plentiful. Housekeeping lady brought lots of ice when no fridge. Most staff did not seem to care.
our room was not good at all, wall paper tourn from the wall, no drain stop for the tub, bathroom floor was dirty, carpwt was tourn from the mop boards, and our beds were not made the best, they were still wrinkled, we have no intertions on staying in there again, and we stayed 4 nights, we will not jrecomend the pioneer to any one, and to top this all off the macnines in the casino was tight.
Some smoke in the casino
The half price breakfast for Veterans was great! Sports book was a great place to watch BB
There is no way to know if they have pet rooms available until you get there. When you book on line at a pet friendly hotel you expect to get a pet friendly room. There is no place on the add that says to call them first.
Pool was freezing cold
The atmosphere and the fact I can walk outside from my room. I recommend the pioneer to everyone
we miss the old breakfast menu like hamstake and eggs or a good old prime rib
the rooms were cozy
TV was all snow. Vent cover barely hanging on wall over toilet. Said they would send someone to fix but in four days, no one ever came. Very poor customer service.
the restaurant was OK they overcook my lunch. and the water in the shower was cold and the toilet would not flush.
the jacuzzi was amazing .
The house keeping standard was low
The food was good and price within.reason
Rooms could use some updating.
Great location to get anywhere on the strip.
Thin walls. You can hear everything. Luckily I am a heavy sleeper. Do not stay here if you are a light sleeper.
The restaurant onsite is above average. The mattress was firm. The fact that it is a motor inn. My golfer friends were able to pick me and my clubs up no problem.
had to park far away from the room,no other problems
got upgraded to a better room by just asking,it was awesome and roomy.
The fact that there are no river activities at the time was sort of disappointing. Our anniversary is in February so we have to deal with not a lot of outdoor activity.
The location on the river was great. Just far enough from Las Vegas and the big city commotion. The Pioneer has the old western charm to it and the value of the room, dinner and drinks makes for a relaxing time.
