Friendly Staff, Flexibility ( due to having to cancel 2 reservations due to breakdowns on the Highway) very appreciative as it's the Alaskan way :) About 4 years back stayed at the other Best Western that was a disaster ! also was a disaster for other business i know of and continues to be.... Swore off Best Western .... Until my office booked us into your place .... Now we refer you to all our acquaintance and visitors which are many ......
No Business / Non Profit rate
The room itself is big enough and well equipped. Very comfort & quiet at night for a good sleep. The staff is also helpful. Breakfast is included in the room rate and is typical continental. Wifi is free and with good connection speed. Overall a very cozy & cost-effective choice in Fairbanks.
The location of the hotel requires a taxi to go anywhere if you're not renting a car. But this ensure the quietness of the location and is good for sleep.
The staff were very pleasant. The morning breakfast was very excellent. The seclusion of the hotel was great, peaceful. It was nice to walk next to the Chena River and to go to the Park and to walk around and see the sights there.
We were sadden by not having a pool to enjoy. When we booked the room, the comment was made in the narrative that the pool would be up and running, but it was still not yet fixed due to waiting on a part. The booking was made approximately a month before actually arriving.
Staff not friendly and have no basic respect to customer.
Swimming pool wasn't open, have stayed here numerous times mainly for the pool and have yet to be able to go swimming.
Poolwas closed and that wasbig reason that i chose this hotel was because it had a pool!!
Nice, clean and comfortable. Good location, quiet, out of the way but close to our needs.
Short-staffed. We had to wait to check in, only one person at the desk. Had elderly persons with us, we had traveled quite a few hundred miles and were ready to settle in our rooms. Continental breakfast is very good, but we had to wait quite awhile why things were re-filled. We gave up on getting any eggs...
Clean comfortable and close to everything. Quiet area. Staff extremely helpful and willing to go the extra mile.
No restaurant so had to find decent places to eat or order in.
toilet seat would not stay up when using the toilet as a urinal
No tv, due to power outage before we arrived.
The atmosphere, room and location were great.
Trash was not being removed from receptacle areas fast enough for guests during continental breakfast time, which is a peak time for them there.
Everything! Biggest room I've ever seen and bed was the most comfortable we had in our 2 weeks in Alaska
The staff was friendly. They also offered To Go box for quest who had early flights.
Everything about this hotel was great. We really enjoyed our stay and would return if the opportunity was available.
The only thing i liked is the fact we got some sleep in the beds for the night
We couldn't shower because our bath tub wasn't draining and no hot water at all. The housekeeper said she doesn't know anything shes just the housekeeper. The kids weren't able to swim in the pool, it was shut down. I wasn't informed of this when i called to confirm the night stay. Checking out i told them i wasn't satisfied and i was offered a discount for the water not working or anything.
The beds were very comfortable and hotel quiet, so we always got a good night's sleep.
WiFi was in and out....not very good. Swimming pool was closed for maintenance....the indoor pool was the only reason we chose that particular hotel. We should have been told that when booking. Very disappointing.
secluded, comfortable, accommodations are excellent and easy to get downtown and to pioneer park
It was close to everywhere we wanted to go, without being on a busy/loud main road. The wooded path to Pioneer Park was fun. We really appreciated the continental breakfast.
Very comfortable, clean, quiet! Great free breakfast .
The rooms were renovated/updated fairly recently.
Location (hidden off the road near Pioneer Park, very hard to find) Price is too high for what you get TV not High Definition Very poorly insulated - could hear the conversations of the people in the next room and everything happening in the hallway. HAD TO USE EARPLUGS TO SLEEP (LITERALLY)
Beautiful surroundings: forested (not "city" feel!) with a short path to footbridge over the Chena River. Very nice room which seemed newly renovated with comfortable beds, great shower, clean and new looking sink and toilet. Microwave and small fridge worked well. New equipment in small workout room. Friendly efficient staff.
Breakfast was fine if you stayed with oatmeal, cereal, bread. Seating area in brkfst room is very limited and a few times, during a wave of guests coming down for breakfast, there was neither enough seating nor an efficient way to access the food. Outside (and hallways) of hotel seemed older.
friendly helpful staff, good location, right behind pioneer park
a bit pricey
Staff was friendly, very clean, and very comfortable rooms. Loved the bed!
The only problem I had was an exploded soda left in the mini fridge freezer.
