Wish that I would have known in advance that the hotel is being remodeled. Our bathroom shower was falling apart. It was loud in the evening and with the new air conditioning system you cannot keep the fan constantly running to block out any noise.

Pool hours.

The room smelled like pets.

The housekeeping and restaurant staff were friendly. The beds were very comfortable and the hotel was in a good location for when we traveled downtown.

When I checked in, the front desk clerk was not friendly. Plus, she didn't change the credit card like I had asked so I had to go to the front desk at checkout and have them do it.

Expensive, no breakfast, smelly, loud

This hotel is an renovate during we stay. Our room was perfect, but 1 bed on 2 was old. Internet free in the room, it's perfect too! Coffee 24 hours at the reception, very nice. And the cookies, excellent! And for my dog too! With pet, this hotel is very nice.

Because they renove, the pool was not open. When i booked, nobody said to me. For the price, i wish a pool... But i understand. If i come back in Pittsburgh, this hotel is my choice because i want to see when the renovates will be complete. I think it will be very nice!

The cookies were awesome! The staff was fantastic, friendly and helpful. Transportation into the city can't be beat. Bed and bedding was nice and comfy. Nice pillows, some firm and some soft, which is nice.

There was only lukewarm water for both of our showers in the am. The sheet was not large enough for the bed... Possibly a queen size sheet on a king size bed. The sheet did not go all the way to both sides of the bed. They should have spent some of that renovation money on soundproofing...too much hallway noise could be heard in the room.

Pet friendly

Fetish/swingers convention being held on site that caused us to change our New Year's Eve plans since it made us feel very uncomfortable

My boyfriend and I appreciated the cleanliness and the convenient location.

I never was aware of swingers staying in a hotel with three reserved floors, and to the knowledge of hotel management and staff... A little creepy. Also, booking.com had noted that the shuttle service was a complimentary feature of the hotel. That was an unexpected expense. Additionally, all of the hidden fees for incidentals and such was also a large unexpected expense. A nice idea of how much to expect for these expenditures would have been appreciated.

Cookies were a great treat.

It was being rennovated while we were staying there, but aside from that it was a nice stay.

The shuttle service to and from downtown was fantastic.

Location was terrible along with the fact they had the wrong address on their website. Also no breakfast orher than paying $15 for one, most hotels offer some sort of breakfast for free. I will never use booking.com again either as I couldn't even get any type of refund because I booked the wrong location. Wouldn't work with me what so ever. Terrible service.

I really liked the staff. I scheduled the wrong date to stay and when I arrived they were extremely polite and helpful. They found a room for us and I walked out so relieved. Later I asked for a near by pizza joint and they gave great directions and even gave me a menu. I have always had a great experience with Double Tree!!!!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Although when we arrived the air conditioning wasn't working correctly, the problem was taken care of immediately by a very friendly tech staff. They even gave us a voucher which we used in their restaurant which, by the way, was cool, comfortable and served us a delicious meal. We would definately stay there again if our travels take us that way.

Nice touch of detail of giving the guests cookies on arrival.

I would have liked it if they had continued to play up on the experience, e.g. by giving us cookies every morning in the room. That would have been nice. It was a little old. Understand that it would be refurbished soon, but for the amount paid, I did expect a little bit more.

We only stayed 1 night before flying out of Pittsburgh airport, but thought it was quite nice. We ate in the restaurant and the food was very good. I would stay there again.

Your free shuttle service does not start until 6am and we had a 7am flight which means that we had to be there early.

My 5 years girlfriend from Virginia and I live in London, Ontario - Canada. We meet half way and Pittsburgh were our choice. We looked through alot of hotels and your hotel got the best deal/price plus my girlfriend has a small dog too that I wanted her to bring. Plus others places to go to too like malls, go to downtown etc. In the past, we used to fly alot but the price has gone up and find a way to save our cost. Before Pittsburgh, we used to go to Grove City - only a good place to go to is Prime Outlet.

Just recently, we had our dinner on Friday and my girlfriend ordered hamburger - wants well done but it was almost rare cook!!! They took it back and took care of it and redo it. It was a good hamburger. I don't think of any dislike.

Pleasant, efficient staff. Room was in perfect condition. Very comfortable stay. Gym equipment at poolside was nice.
