Place D'Armes Hotel  

We loved the courtyard to relax and have an evening glass of wine or a morning cup of coffee, our room was comfortable and clean. The convenience of walking to great music and restaurants from a beautiful historic center was a great pleasure.

Location was excellent!

The room smelled a bit moldy and the bedspreads needed serious updating

we have stayed at Place de Armes for many years after traveling to the city for many more years and we find it is the best for our needs. The staff is always great making our stay always a joy.

Location to restaurants and shopping.

The room smelled very bad and the carpet was soaking wet. The one bell woman that worked there was rude and slow. I recommend that if u stay their, reserve a courtyard room to avoid the bums fighting under your street side balcony at 3 am. Not to mention the city noises that start as early as 6 am with the garbage trucks and construction workers.

Cost, the price went from $300 +taxes a night on the two night we were there, to $89.00 if we could have stayed another night.

Great location 1/2 block from Jackson Square. Relaxed atmoshere and very friendly competant staff.

Courtyard was beautiful. Hotel Staff was great. Couldn't ask for a better location.

Everything was great except Room 508 was very hot. The a/c was not working properly.

Excellent location in the French Quarter. Had a interior room, (no window), no problem, quiet & comfortable.Will use again, on next visit, even without the child. Tourist center near by.

The Hotel offered an excellent value in the French Quarter. The proximity to Jackson Square and Bourbon Street for this price was unbeatable.

Staff were friendly, accomodating & responsive. Locaton is great for exploring/feeling the French Quarter, shopping & eating. Access & use of courtyard for relaxing outside room.

Inside room w/out a window, but that was all that was available when we made reservations months in advance.

Charming and easy place to stay

I loved everything about the Place D'Armes. It was walking distance to absolutely everything I wanted to do and see (Bourbon St., French Market, Jackson Square, Cafe Du Monde...). The room was wonderful, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was great and I loved the free wi-fi.

The staff was excellent, friendly, helpful and, except for being late making up the room one day, did an outstanding job. It is in a great location for a first-time visitor to enjoy all of the French Quarter on foot. Jackson Squart, the Riverwalk, Bourbon Street, Royal Street et. al. are easily accessible by foot. The pool was under repair and that was a bit of a detraction. Otherwise, the ambience was excellent.

La situation géographique exceptionnelle par rapport au quartier français, la décoration de la chambre , le jardin intérieur, le confort du lit....

Il n'a pas de housse anti-punaise. L'odeur persistante d'humidité et de renfermé. Il n'y avait pas de fenêtre ce qui restreignait l'éclairage. Froideur du personnel à l'arrivée.

Hotel idealement situe au coeur qu quartier francais. Personnel sympathique.chambre confortable et spacieuse . Wifi gratuit et qui fonctionnait bien. Joli patio avec piscine. Petit dejeuner inclu avec toutes les chambres. Pas grand chose mais tres raisonnable ( petit dej continental complet ). Un tres bon rapport qualite/prix

Absence de fenetre dans ma chambre mais au final pas tres genant.

la habitaci´n tiene olor a humedad, No tiene servicio de comidad, el aparato de televison era tan atuguo como el hotel (siglo XIX)

Man ist tatsächlich mitten im French Quarter und kann alles sehr bequem zu Fuss erreichen.

O hotel está a necessitar de remodelação. As instalações estão velhas.

Gute Lage, schöner Innenhofgarten mit Sitzgelegenheiten, Parkservice.

Im Verhältnis zum Zimmerpreis sehr hohe Parkgebühr.

The price, the location, the friendly staff, the continental breakfast,the parking garage, and the courtyard are reasons I choose to stay at Place D'Armes Holel.

The windowless rooms and the dingy decor bother me.
