WiFi didn't work. Staff couldn't have cared less. The "continental breakfast" consisted of some sort of jelly roll.

It was clean. The bed was extremely hard. The bedding was lacking. The bathtub grout had mold. The included breakfast is a pre-packaged danish. There wasn't a blow dryer. The location is on the more run down side of town.

It was a decent hotel for our short stay. We were not far from downtown Placerville, took about 5 minutes to drive down to all the shops on main street. Plenty of places to eat nearby so that was nice also. Apple Hill is only 10-15 minutes away which was the reason why we were up there. Our bed was really not comfortable at all, glad we were only staying one night.

Lots of compfy pillows on the bed Not worth $100 a nite, no remote 2 tv. Breakfast was pathetic. Worth is maybe $ 50 a nite. Wouldn't recommend 2 anyone

The best thing we could say about the Gold Country Inn is that it was fairly clean and quiet. The desk clerks did not seem to know what they were doing - I had booked five rooms for five different members of our party and that confused them for what seemed a very long check in time. The rooms were okay, but dated and the beds were very hard and not comfortable. It would have been nice to have a coffee maker in the room. And lastly, the continental breakfast was laughable - a packaged pastry and that's it. We would not stay there again, if there were openings elsewhere.

Price and location We asked for a iron but the iron wrecked a Shirt Top it got some black stuff on it and cold not get out,

Quiet, close to Starbucks. No hot water, no hairdryer in room, no iron in room. When I complained about the lack of hot water, the response was fake surprise...as though he had given that response hundreds of times. No offer to do anything about it.
