Friendly staff. Clean. Close to the river, shops, restaurants, etc. Loved exploring Savannah and this was a great starting point every day.
Unable to find the concierge to book anything. Also, had no hot water for first three days we were there due to a major problem with the boiler.
Very nice location. Very helpful staff. Lovely complimentary wine and cheese 5-7. Easy access to most of Savannah's sites. A great alternative for the convention center.
The location, friendliness of staff, and cleanliness of facitlies were all very nice.
The price for a Queen room was exorbitant considering the extremely small size, and the continental breakfast was inedible aside from a very few fresh fruit options.
Excellent location and very nice and helpful staff.
Rooms are a bit small.
Evening wine & cheese; helpfulness of bell staff; valet parking; general location; bathroom layout.
Street noise; internet access complexity; no self-service ice; no refrigerator in room; no desk in room; limited space; no help in unloading luggage from car.
Staff is helpful Location is good Good value for money
Breakfast room is a bit dark and small
Great place, great location
We loved being right downtown in the heart of Savannah. We walked out the door and the culture and history were there. Very friendly staff. Would go there again without a doubt.
Location, friendliness and helpfulness of staff.
Price was a little high.
Location was great. Could walk everywhere. Bellhop, Sam, was very kind and gracious. Wine and cheese reception was a nice touch and the piano player added to the ambiance. The servers in the breakfast room was friendly and attentive.
Parking was valet only and pricey. Upon check in, we were told our credit card was declined, which was not true and embarrassing. We checked with our card company and it appears it was the terminal at the front desk which was the problem and not our card. I got the feeling the hotel just didn't want to pay the excess fees that American Express charges and they were hoping we'd use a Visa card instead. We were in room 203 and the bed was so bad that we requested a room change after the second night. Our second day was in our new room (503) and we spent it sleeping to make up for the lack of sleep the night before. The bathroom vanity was small and the view from both rooms was of the parking garage. The concierge who hosted the wine and cheese reception was not very welcoming or friendly. The breakfast room was too small for the number of guests. We had to come down a second time to find a seat. Overall, for the price, we felt cheated.
Your location was perfect and enables our entire family to see and enjoy Savannah at our leisure. We were treated so very nicely and will remember our visit with such fond memories. Thank you!
the guests that you attract! Karen O. gave us so many great ideas on what to do and where to eat, she was excited to help us in anyway she can. all of the staff and the hotel was beyond our hopes.!
Pillows, and it took a long time to get hot water for my shower.
Location was amazing, Staff friendly and helpful. Bed was very soft, I slept like a rock.
Either wake up early for breakfast or go else where; It is a very small 'mezzanine' with about 6 tables for the entire hotel to use for the breakfast. As far as the room, it was comfortable if a little dark, but the towels felt like they have never heard of fabric softener since their first wash. They were very rough and stiff. I would expect that from a Motel 6 or Best Western, but not from a $170-$200 per night hotel in the heart of a very popular city.
Everything was excellent. Enjoyed stay very much. Wine and cheese a nice touch.
Air conditioning in room was temperamental. Also a lot of street noise.
Great location. Wine & cheese was nice!
There was an old, used Q-tip on the bathroom floor, but seemed clean otherwise. The breakfast wasn't great.
The location, the friendly staff, the comfort and quality of the room.
The continental breakfast. The quality of the food was below the par of what this hotel should offer. I would suggest they upgrade their food supplier.
The room was quiet and cozy. The location within the historic district was perfect. We didn't have to drive anywhere from the time we arrived.
Our room was cleaned only one time during our 3 night stay. We had a late start out on Sunday. After receiving a note under the door about skipping our room due to the "do not disturb" door tag, I called down to request room service anyway. While we were out, someone placed the tag back on the door and needless to say, the room was still a mess. My credit card was charged prior to checkout and after I told them we'd pay in cash! Overall the stay was pleasant but efficiency could use some work.
We were in Savannah for our 40th Anniversary and had a wonderful time. The inn was in walking distance to everything we wanted to see. The staff was informative and friendly. We were greeted at the sidewalk and our car and luggage were taken care of. We will definitely stay again.
Had to share a balcony with the room next door. Our luck no one rented or used it.
Close to everything, the people at breakfast and the rest of the staff very nice and friendly
Front staff when we got their Not very accommodating at all. Lots of noise from outside heard at night in the room.
very clean, attentive staff, great location
uncomfortable mattress bed too high/no bench provided breakfast was poor- we expected better food than what was offered (toaster ready waffles and french toast, cold cereal, old tasting hard boiled eggs)
Location was perfect. Staff friendly. Concierge was helpful. Wine and cheese a very nice touch
Rooms by the parking garage loud and lights bright at night for sleeping
Great place. Staff amazing and perfect location
We have been to Savannah several times and each time we stay here. The main reason is the location. You can walk to the river, shops and several restaurants. The staff here are always friendly and welcoming. The only parking is the deck next door, but that's not a deal breaker for us. It's much easier to just do the valet parking. Whenever you call for your call, they are always quick even when they are busy.
No complaints at all.
Location is perfect...everything is within walking distance. Staff is very attentive, courteous and make you feel like a priority to their business. Wine and cheese in the evenings in the lobby is a nice touch! We would absolutely stay here when in Savannah.
