Lobby was elegant as was the evening reception or "Happy Hour". Staff very cordial and helpful; from doorman Carl to concierge Karen.
The air conditioning was not working effectively but we were told that it was fine. In the afternoon our room was like a sauna and at night it didn't get much better. The breakfast was poor..room could not accommodate guests, food was similar to a highway motel.
Great location. Excellent staff and service
The bell boy was a treat and was very knowledgeable of the area and events. He is an asset to the Hotel.
Location perfect. Staff friendly, knowledgable, went the extra mile. Received a bottle of wine for bday.
No King beds.
The location The comfort of the hotel
I secured my booking with a credit card as requested. However I would like to have paid in cash but the full amount was charged to my credit card without any discussion with me. I was a bit disappointed with this process.
Great location, big room and bathroom, southern charm
Could do with a few cosmetic updates.
Great location, friendly service.
Location excellent, parking is close and convenient. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and beautifully appointed. Although we stayed on the sixth floor, Wifi was excellent. Overall, a great Inn at a great location.
Location good for historic district. Helpful staff
Room small and in need of some attention Limited facilities Relatively poor value for money
view of parking
Perfect location……just leave your car with the concierge and enjoy all that Savannah has to offer!
While not the hotel's fault, there was quite a bit of road/crowd noise late on the Saturday night (2-3am).
Different or more country styled foods at breakfast . What was at the breakfast could be had at any average hotel! I did love the room and the staff!
I loved our stay, the location was great, the staff was professional and friendly. Our room was decorated beautifully, and clean, quiet, and comfortable. I will stay again and recommend it to others!
Is perfect location and the staff is excellent.
Friendly staff at the desk. Perfect location; easy walk to most main attractions.
Breakfast was rather bleak and seemed to run out of many items with still another half hour to go. Breakfast staff din't seem concerned regarding this.
I went there for training and need table for studyind and many times I asked and requested just table but nobody cares me.
A hotel room, is basically about a place to sleep. When traveling good rest is so essential. The bed sagged, and every time we moved it creaked. The room was extremely overpriced for a bad bed. The hot items for breakfast were cold and stale on a day the hotel was packed.
My husband and I always stay here and we love it! The location is fabulous and the staff is so great. The rooms are older but very clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting historic Savannah!
Excellent location for visiting Savannah - just 2 streets from the waterfront and round the corner for the trolley stops. Enjoyed the free wine and cheese during the week
Unfortunately there was a problem with the hot water for most of our stay but we were given 25% off our bill, so decided to stay as we'd researched the hotel beforehand and wished to stay
I was please with every aspect of our stay at Planters Inn.
I have no dislikes
Paying an extra fee for parking on top of the room rate
Beautiful Reynolds square out the front door
great location excellent value good breakfast choices morning newspaper Tom the doorman
The concierge who poured the wine (5:30-7:30pm happy hour) expecting tips, was not cool.
Really liked the location and the staff very friendly. Wine and cheese nice touch and the buffet breakfast was excellent.
Not enough seating in the breakfast room, was too crouded and had to wait for table and the tables were way too close to each other. Felt like I was having my breakfast with strangers. Need to expand that space. Also some noise from the street noted but not awful.
