Fabulous,
Score from 174 reviews
“ This hotel was excellent for our needs. Close to the strip but removed from the bustle and night noise. The one bedroom apartment was tremendous after our previous stays in hotel rooms before getting here. Facilities were excellent and staff friendly and courteous. I would highly recommend this hotel, especially to families. ”

The room was extra spacious, view from the room was superb, very comfortable for a family on vacation, amenities were complete, it was as if you didn't leave home as all your basic needs were available. Staff were quite indifferent especially those at the front desk which is quite surprising.

Standard of cleanliness is excellent. Location is good, just a 10 min walk from the strip. The valets provide a house car for short journeys. This is a great alternative to taxis. This is a free service (just tip the driver). Did make two requests when booking for a low floor room and for the kitchen to be equipped with pots and pans. On arrival we had been placed on the 14th floor and unable to change because our grocery order had been delivered and unpacked. No pots and pans were in room, but this was soon sorted by housekeeping. Restaurants were not open in the evenings.

Loved the bed and the space of the room. The girl on check out was excellent and friendly. The valets were friendly and approachable. The lady on check in was cold and stand backish. Not very interested in the job if I am honest. The toilets was blocked and the power shower had no power and was not great. I do not smoke, butwhy have a big balcony if you cannot smoke outside it? Very strange.Would not come back to this hotel.

The staff at this hotel was one of the best I've ever experienced. Considering this is a 4-star and not a 5-star, my friends and I were extremely impressed by their helpfulness and friendliness. One day during our stay the pool had to be closed for a few hours unexpectedly while it was treated with chemicals. The manager came around to each guest at the pool and personally apologized. I traveled here with 5 other women for a girls' trip. The location is great for the money. It is a little seedy after dark, but that's typical for the city. We never had a problem walking to/from the strip. The rooms are very, very spacious. It was great to have a complete kitchen. The pool deck is great. Very comfy loungers! I would absolutely stay here again. It's a quiet hotel amidst all the hustle and bustle of Vegas. The restaurant wasn't' open for dinner. The bar had tapas but not a full meal. But there are plenty of other options around!

Comfort. Staff needs customer service training. I was the only person at the check-in desk and two staff members chatted for two minutes before they even acknowledged that I was there. Not friendly at all.

One of the valet parking guy (latin, speaking spanish) were not very kind with my son. We report to the receptionist and she told us that maybe he was tire because they have not enought personnel. But I donot care if they needs more personnel, my son Dr. Villa should receive same service than all others or even me.

I was hesitant about booking a hotel just off the strip but after evenings out in other hotels on the strip, rhe Platinum was a pleasure to come back to. We had a fantastic stay here and would recommend it to anyone. The staff, room service, the pool, the suite and the food were all brilliant. The fact that it was just a block away from the strip was, as far as we were concerned, in its favour ! Thank you Platinum Hotel for making our stay in Vegas awesome ! Valet parking only. The option of self parking would be nice! Also one beautiful sunny afternoon at 4pm we had to vacate the pool as there was a wedding. 5 - 5.30pm would have been far better !! That aside all was fabulous :)

Staff was very friendly and gave great service. Room was clean and as described. Close enough to main part of the strip to walk every day. Restaurant inside casino next door (ellis-island) has good food at great price!! (Dinner for 2 for less than 30 bucks, steak 10oz and eggs 5.99$). We got a deal at about 800 for the room for 7 nights and it was well worth it. Kitchens in the room so it's possible to buy cereal and bread for breakfast or whatvever small groceries and save with restaurants that way too. Will stay again at this location for sure during next trip to Vegas!!!!! Have to walk off strip for 5-10 mins on side of the street to get to the hotel and theres bums in the area. For a couple its not bad but 2 girls at night might not be the best idea. (Its not that bad, but it is to be considered if its girls only)

The size of the rooms was great and that the bedroom was separate. The hotel was not the typical large sprawling type. Overall, a great place to stay. It was a bit far from the Vegas strip - about a 15 minute walk. That it was a valet only parking garage was a negative as had to tip every time we took out the car.

Loads of room. Water cooler downstairs. Whirlpool. Washing machine. Valet did not give us the option to self-park our car rental when we first brought it back to the hotel.

Platinm Hotel felt like peaceful safe oasis in consumer madness of Vegas. Could see bright lights from our lovely suite but felt away from them, only 1 long block . Hoover Dam worth a visit. Bellagio fountains lovely and just up road. Shopping outlets great. Happy hour in downstairs bar good for Dad. Very good value. Would recommend hotel but not the town to families Touts on streets pushing sex brochures to everyone even the kids, mobile truck sex ads, having to walk throgh smoky flashy casinos to get to restaurants. Only moan re hotel was valet parking a bit of a nuisance and had to pay extra for pans which may have been an issue if we'd stayed longer. Washing machine would have been nice.

Excellent room, great bathroom!! The kitchen met our needs, as we cooked about two meals a day there. Pool was great for the kids, and the view from the pool deck at night was beautiful. The staff were all extremely helpful, and very friendly. The walk to the strip took less than ten minutes. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to families, in fact I already have!!

Perfect place for a family that wants to return to a quiet 'home' after a day of Vegas. Stayed almost a week altogether, with 2 kids, 17 & 10, had the 2 queen en 1 sofabed. We had a little kitchen. Very clean hotel with clean pool, restaurant. One street away (walking distance) from strip, nice and quiet, no casino or such in this hotel- thank god!!! Staff is very accomodating. 10 minutes cab- drive (if the cabdriver doesn't drive 20 m p/h to make some extra bucks like he tried with us.... But hey- it's Las Vegas!) from airport. To rent a car there is an Enterprise across the street, at the Westin hotel. The 1 street walk up to the hotel (away from the strip) might be a little unsafe for a girl or women alone, late at night.
