It was a great stay to see downtown Detroit. The staff was great. The valet parking workers went over and above to make out truck fit. Thanks guys
Toilet was stopped up. Friendly staff came to room within 10 minutes to fix it.
On two of my three days, the towels and soap were late. One day I didn't get them at all, even after I called the desk.
It was convenient to my activities, had a nice view. The bed was very comfortable. The omelet cook made an excellent breakfast.
I did not like that there was no microwave in the room or on my floor. Only one in the gift shop.
I like the room layout. I also liked the staff.
The room was tiny and it looked like we were going into a closet. The Wi-Fi was non existent and nit worth $200 a night.
I loved the view
The tv did not work and the manager would not compensate us. Could have gotten another room but we had un packed and did not want to pack again!
Location...and the room was awesome
The breakfast, the view, the location
Requested late check out but kept knocking on the door. Photos shown online of the requested room did match the room received for our stay
$25 valet parking with no option to self park. Not a big deal to us, esp. for a downtown hotel, but definitely worth noting.
Great location in downtown Detroit. We were in town to see a Red Wings game, and the hotel was right across the street from Cobo/Joe Louis Arena. Room was modern, comfy & clean. Free wifi was a nice perk! The lobby was gorgeous! Staff was friendly, quick & very accomodating.
My complimentary birthday drink!
I have nothing bad to say about my stay here.
At check in, the front desk was extremely helpful and courteous. Everyone of the staff we encountered throughout our stay was very personable.
Fantastic water-front view from the 17th floor suit, plenty of space, tea and coffee making facilities, stylish lobby, beautiful view from the top floor restaurant. The hotel is few steps away from restaurants and bars, and it also features some good draft beers. I liked every bit of our stay, and we will stay again, when back to Detroit.
No hot water to shower. Had security knocking on our door at almost midnight and woke us up. Requested early check in and it wasn't ready and got there early and couldn't even valet our car till we could check in so had to pay to park across the street and pay again to park at the hotel. Took over 40 minutes to get our car from valet in the morning.
The bed was comfortable.
The absence of a mini-fridge in my room. I mean come on, its important. The gyms dumbbells are really bad. I say you get new expensive set of dumbbells. Open buffet breakfast maybe ?
Not enough toiletries in room
I liked the location 2 mins to joe Louis arena
The location was convenient to the Renaissance Center and the Cobo Center. Super comfortable room, great views.
I didn't sleep well. Me and the mattress coils fought all night. I ended up being ill the next day.
Everything about the location of the hotel just said convenient. The view from the floor to ceiling windows was awesome. The staff was always polite, prompt and very helpful. One staff member even went to the drugstore for me!! I ended up being kinda ill in the morning and wasn't able to eat a buffet breakfast. I asked for something smaller and was told that I could have what I wanted and complimentary.
When we first arrived there were many people working but they were only helping one person at a time. It seemed like it took 4 people to help one person. After getting our hotel keys we went to our room. The room we got was small and that didn't bother us. What did bother us was the bathroom was the size of a closet and the shower was even smaller. I was very disappointed. When I went to open the blinds they were sticky and hard to open. The carpet was coming up and the trip boards on the windows were cracked and falling apart. When I checked into the hotel I told them I wanted to pay cash for my stay. At checkout the woman that helped me took my room card and said "your all set". I said I am sorry but I didn't want to pay for the room with my credit card that I gave them for the file the day before. I calmly told her I would prefer to pay for the room with cash. She immediately got an attitude with me and I was very angry. I will never stay here again.
The pool and hot tub were both very clean and nice.
The room was a bit small. The noise from the heating system was ridiculous!! All night it kept cutting in and out like someone using a pneumatic drill!!Some areas were filthy! Like the extractor fan in the bathroom! There were stains on the bathroom walls and a layer of dust on the doors. Also, there was that much going on in the hotel it felt like a canteen at breakfast. They closed the restaurant and put us all in a conference room converted into a breakfast area. Why is the club lounge or concierge room on floor 24 not open? Not what I'd experienced before from a Crowne Plaza.
The room was quite nice with a good view of the river and bridge.
WiFi was slow and kept disconnecting. Room was nice but small. Pillows were not comfortable. No gift shop.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and close to where we wanted to be.
Bathroom in room was hideous and extremely dirty
When we called a cab to go to our concert. We waited 45 min and the guy at the desk didnt seem.interested in helping us. He did eventually try but was rude and preoccupied with something else. Everyone else was great but because of this. Prob wont stay here again ... sorry it was a lovely place
When we checked in the man at front desk was very pleasant and was approacable. Seemed genuinely interested in us, and our stay.
room was not the same that I reserved. Hotel said they didn't have a king suite like what I reserved. Put us in a room with one king bed and 2 small pull outs.
The entire staff was so friendly and accommodating. Rooms were very nice and location was perfect.
