The front entrance, lobby, ballroom and bedroom were very beautiful. We had a wonderful view from our window! I could not believe I found this for such a great price! I had heard that the rooms were on the small side but my boyfriend and I did not need that much room. We even had a few friends over before going to Fells! Would definitely stay again!
The room was nice and clean and the refrigerator was a nice size
The fan for the heater was very loud
just loved the location and the old character
a little trouble in the tavern area. wonderful waitress but took forever to wait on me. (45 minutes)
Close to Harbour
Non stop noise from construction site
The rooms were comfortable. The food was great
The view of another room right outside our window. The construction outside our. Window. Way too noisy and I had requested a quiet area. I know the hotel has no control over construction work but it was very annoying. Although the food was good it was overpriced.
Reservation and front desk personnel were amazing! Great location and easy walk to Federal Hill for food and stadium for football game. Wonderful time … would recommend to anyone looking for something outside of the cookie cutter hotel establishment.
Had a very good time. Will come back.
We really enjoyed the hotel. Everything was very clean and modern. The staff was very friendly. The bar, restaurants and bakery were excellent. The hotel is in a great location. We could walk to many places, including the Convention Center for business, and locations for public transportation.
We had problems with getting hot water from the shower on the 14th floor. The water had to be on for around 10 minutes for the hot water to come on. Please look into this issue to improve water usage and to avoid extra maintenance calls.
The bed was really nice except I would have liked to have a comforter. The strength of the wi-fi was pretty good.
There were dust mites along the top of the headboard, the back of the night stands where the lamps were placed. Curiosity made me check the top of the pictures which also housed a thick layer of dust. The room was just okay; certainly nothing to write home about. While checking in I was told to check my credit card information then sign if it's correct. It was, so I signed. I had no idea that I was also signing about their policy which could lead to additional charges. This was found out after the charges. The young lady at the desk did a poor job at explaining those charges and why I hadn't been informed about them until I checked out. Lastly, my view was only the other side of the hotel. There was nothing more to see other than the windows of other guest.
Good staff. Good services. Nice atmosphere.
Found little bugs in our bed in the middle of the night. Freaked us out so we slept fully clothed with jackets on and on top of all the sheets
The staff at the Lord Baltimore Hotel is the friendliest I have ever encountered in my travels. We were permitted to check in two hours early which saved us from paying parking and allowed us to get ready before exploring the city. The woman who checked us in gave us a shopping recommendation (because we loved her necklace) while she prepared our room cards. The concierge took all of our bags from the car up to the room without asking for assistance. Then continued to show us where we could find the complimentary water bottles, ice, refrigerator, etc. we enjoyed friendly conversation from his life in Kenya, to his favorite parts of Baltimore. The room had a view of the court house where we witnessed a wedding that afternoon. At checkout we were greeted by a young gentleman who took our room cards by the elevator. No fuss! The room was comfortable and the shower had great water pressure ( a must for me).
The only complaint I could mention was that our city view room looked out over some construction which woke us up at 8am on New Year's Day. We would request a higher floor in the future.
The staff was helpful and friendly. The inside was very nice and I wanted very much to love it but the location was just a little sketchy. Room was very nice and the bakery in the lobby was EXCELLENT.
I hope the surroundings buildings/area come up to the same level as the hotel. It's a beautiful historical site.
Clean overall ... What we didn't like .... Room service , food options ... Late hours ... Ask for items. ... Never came to room ??? Stay was comfortable but very limited options what to enjoy in hotel ....
Very boring staff, old looking rugs,
I enjoyed my stay at the Lord Baltimore hotel. The King room was comfortable, clean, and spacious too. Don't listen to the older reviews of this hotel, while it was undergoing renovation. The lobby is beautiful - and all of the rooms are now updated. 17th floor was nice and quiet. Corner room with a decent view. Bar and cafe are both excellent. If I am in town again, I'd stay at this hotel.
I know it was a slow Saturday night, but I would have liked the bar to serve food until 11:00, as advertised. But, the bartender recommended a nice Irish pub a couple of blocks away - this was a perfect late night meal. Drinks at the hotel afterwords were perfect.
I love the comfort of the room and hotel. The smokey grey and black gave it a calm BUT mature feeling to it.
The hotel was a great bargain and very comfortable and well-maintained.
Staff at front desk and valet parking were superb. Bartender was friendly and the food at the bar was excellent. Room was very clean.
Heater in room squealed at times, called maintance because of burnt smell coming from heater. Maintance man said they did not get to replacing that one yet. Assured me we would not suffocate from smoke smell in room if we went back to sleep.
Security latch in the room was ripped off the door.
No heat. Had to call for repair
I totally enjoyed my stay it was warm and comfortable as my home.I totally would recommend a stay at lord Baltimore hotel.
The wait on a elevator on check out.
