Conveniently located along Freeway 680, this all suite hotel is across the street from the Pleasant Hill BART station.
Score from 74 reviews Very good
The mattress was very comfortable.
There was a shortage of wash cloths!
Price. local was important in relation to hospice facility we were visiting.
Facility needed refurbishing. Kitchens showed wear and tear, age.
Very comfortable, great service, nice people
Liked it all!
Nice comfortable room, very helpful and friendly staff, kitchen area very good, bathroom good.
Could have used a specified "dog potty" area with grass. The floorboard from the kitchen to the carpeted area was too thin, and the carpet tacks were sticking through it.
Let me say this.. my 3yr old and I needed a place to be because we were between homes and while one home was being staged for sale the other was waiting for plumbing and carpet. This motel is tucked back away from everything except for 4 Dept. Stores BEST BUY BUY BUY BABY AND OFFICE MAX and BASSETT FURNITURE (convenient for us) as we have no furniture, yet :-) This place seems a dump but, if your simple people want to rest and have small children who may be a bit loud? For us, (let's put it this way) my little one cried and cried (while checking out ) because she was sad that our "new" home was ready! The staff is nice and helpful, the place is very private, we got a lot of rest and we will be (as promised, by mom ;-)) coming back here for every and any "New House" layovers! Thanks
No housekeeping, "LOUD" upstairs running around, poor TV station choices, and cops patrolling all day and night? GOOD TIMES! We enjoyed our stay very much besides that :-)
Location was convenient.
Panhandlers, barking dogs, slamming doors all night. It was a bad experience.
The people were very friendly and accommodating
The hotel was old--the kitchen had rusty sink and drain. Carpeting was old. The air conditioner/heater kept clicking on and off all night and was annoying. The facilities were old.
There was a constant stomping above me from early in the morning to late at night, sometimes as early as 7am and as late as Midnight. I called 4 times about it and asked to be moved if they couldn't stop the stomping. Each time the staff said they would take care of it and never got back to me; the stomping only increased. I also received a phone message in error of someone trying to set up a drug buy. I have traveled all over the world and never have I had such a horrible stay and feeling of being unsafe as I did here. When I voiced this at checkout, the clerk told me I should have told them sooner. Uhm, I did; 4 times. I certainly will not be back to this location nor another Extended Stay hotel.
Kitchen and room size. Silence. Big parking.
Dusty room. Dirty carpet. No normal wardrobe and suitcase stand. 10 days in a room never cleaned and not even out the garbage. Fruits and drink exhibited morning in the lobby is not breakfast. Need to ask the most basic things which exist today in any 2 star hotel. Old noisy air conditioning with manual mechanical adjustment. Squeaky bed.
convenient and easy to locate from freeway
The hotel had a dingy, creepy feeling. Hallways were narrow and dark. The hallways smelled of food cooking--the fish smell one night was particularly bad. Desk clerk who registered us did not make eye contact and was almost rude. Desk clerk on duty when we left was very friendly. Other clientele looked "down on their luck." Rooms were clean and adequate but ambience defintely lacking.
Nothing appealed to us.
&Quot;breakfast" advertised left a lot to be desired. Had to request coffee, tea for room, repeatedly, at checkout, clerk wanted to charge us for the adjoining room dog occupancy, long distance phone calls. Poor customer service.
Good enough location Good enough price
Half of electrical sockets did not work and we have to boil water in bathroom. It took 3 days of requests followed by escalation to resolve situation. Cleaning service for the first week was just skipped. And again it took 3 days of reminders to resolve
Convenient to everything
Other guests, staff, uncomfortable bed, etc....
Fridge, stove, microwave. Since i was there all week for budiness, it was nice to be able to prepare my own meals. Staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
Hardest bed I've ever tried to sleep on. Doors downstairs propped open and rooms down the hall also had doors propped open to allow access to non guests. Was not the safest feeling in the world. I kept my chain on at all times.
room smelled (old smoke). Holes in walls that were not repaired after racks were removed. Kitchen banged up - old. Carpet was so old and gross I kept my shoes on every time I had to walk on the carpet.
Noisy neighbors Screaming kids Door slapping in the floor Floor smells because of the kitchens Not a real breakfast (only coffee and tee and a muffin)
Breakfast consisted of "cheap" muffins, granola bars, weak coffee and creamer- not 1/2&1/2 or milk. No juice. Fruit not very fresh. Water in shower was either VERY hot or VERY cold. No maintenance on the weekend. In-room coffee pot very "dusty".
Tired hotel - needs updating No daily room cleaning Below average
The room and a fully functioning kitchen with extra utrensil at hand and toaster and a lot bigget fridge. The room is a lot bigger.
One light doesn't work. The AC is a bit noisy.
liked the suite, comfortable space, bed and location is OK, but will need a car to get around for restaurants etc.
Slightly tired carpets and furnishings, but functional and fairly clean. Breakfast is minimal muffins/granola bar and coffee served in lobby.
