“ PlumpJack Squaw was clean and comfortable. The rooms were nice and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel had a great atmosphere - the bar area and restaurant were fantastic, and even the lobby area was welcoming, with nice comfy seats. ”

Loved the staff, front desk (Peekaboo Street), restaurant, bartenders. They all helped us enjoy our 4 days at Squaw Village after the ski resort closed a week early.

An ideal combination of ski location, comfort, unobtrusive and friendly service, a welcoming bar, and superb food. The wine dinner was a gourmet exploration of pinot noir paired with very fine dishes prepared by chefs at the top of their game. Stay was too short.

PlumpJack Squaw was clean and comfortable. The rooms were nice and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel had a great atmosphere - the bar area and restaurant were fantastic, and even the lobby area was welcoming, with nice comfy seats. We stayed on a particularly busy weekend as there was a wedding party and also Oktoberfest, so the restaurant and bar booked up fast. The staff went out of their way to try to get us into the restaurant and bar, which they did. They also parked our car for us in the staff park as the guest park was full. We had a great stay and really enjoyed our time here. A great friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Nothing. We loved it.

Although our stay was not during the peak season (summer), the staff was very gracious about making all the amenities available to us. The restaurant and bar are very quaint and the food was delicious. The hostel is very dog friendly and they made our puppy feel right at home with her own bed, bowls and treats. We will definitely be back!

Great buffet breakfast with hot items, fresh baked goods, delicious eggs, coffee, etc. Wonderful location within minutes of Squaw lifts.

Staff is excellent, attentive and very service oriented. The hotels very well located across a small road to Squaw Valley Village. Both restaurants in the hotel are very good! Good service oriented hotel. The hotel really needs to beef up their wireless service, it's virtually non-existent and many of us found this aspect of the hotel very frustrating. Many folks had to sit in the lobby to work on their laptops.
