The beach is so uncrowded and beautiful. The restaurants are fantastic, especially Pop's! The location is great, close to Siesta Key and Venice. We have been vacationing in Nokomis every year for the past 5 years! Our friends have vacationed there for over 15 years!
We plan on making this our vacation retreat every year.

GREAT beach area.
GREAT beach area.
We found a REAL bar with karaoke, hard to find where we live. It was Bayside Bar and Grill, 5 min. from the hotel. Awesome burger.
Breakfast at Anita's (2 min.) is a tad pricey but worth the money. We had veggie omelet and bacon & eggs. They offer mimosas & bloody Marys. They also have broasted chicken, hard to find near home.
Dinner----Briandi's Italian right behind the hotel. Best Italian EVER, really authentic. Fresh Italian bread with the best dipping oil I've had. I had angel hair w/ meat sauce and we took out enough for two MORE meals from the one order! The staff is awesome and genuine. The cannoli was good he said and my tiramisu was different but tasty.
For atmosphere go to Pop's Bar & Grill, 5 min, away on the Intracoastal, across a bridge from Nokomis Beach. Food okay, view is great.

The local shops within the immediate neighborhood are awesome. The property is within 2-5 miles of everything (Grocery shopping, vehicle repair, great restaurants & much more).
The traffic flow appeared to be light between Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Public beach access appeared to be easily accessable with ample parking available.
I would highly reccommend Nokomis for everyone to checkout.

Nice , modern, clean, comfortable hotel!
Nice , modern, clean, comfortable hotel!
Good location, 10 min driving to beach.
Pet friendly ($100 per stay no matter how many small pets)
Venice is very nice small town, nice beaches including dog friendly beach.
The house was amazing. Plenty of room for the whole family. Was only minutes from the beach like the description. We all enjoyed the house and talked about maybe trying to stay again. Each room was spacious and everyone liked the room they were in. Minutes away from stores and restaurants. Most of us enjoyed it so much we stayed in a few days to relax. The bonus kitchen was a plus but we hardly used it. We all loved the water pressure in the showers. There was a few small things that could be fixed but did not ruin the experience.
Everything about this place was wonderful…the location, the rooms, lush landscaping and Marc the manager was an asset to this place. Accommodations were spacious and beach was a short walk away. Wish we could of stayed longer.
Quaint. Comfortable for two adults. Clever bicycle theme. Great proximity to Nokomis beach. Nice to have access to an outdoor space with fire pit and Adirondack chairs.
