Rooster was out far enough to be very quiet but close enough to downtown for food or runs to the grocery store. The room was decorated nicely, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Those interested in Internet access would like the wifi as well; plenty fast for being way out in the twigs.
Close to Hurricane Ridge entrance. Basics for a simple but tiny kitchen Comfy window seat for reading Location was quiet. Stairs were sturdy and looked new.
Hosts were away so no warm, helpful personal contact was disappointing. Steep, 2 story staircase was daunting. Low attic roof meant suite was claustrophobic. Property was remote and a bit run down
Very quiet, relaxed atmosphere. Owners very nice and helpful with suggestions.
Front porch should be spruced up a bit. Quite a hike to 3rd floor with luggage. Need to replenish the coffee creamers daily.
Lovely place...peaceful...beautiful...friendly hosts...a 10 minute drive to downtown
Very nice couple running this b&b. Our room was big with a king size bed and jacuzzi tub.
The decor was full of antiques which my husband didn't care for and the mattress was worn out a long time ago. And the room had an odor of sewer gas perhaps?
It's a beautiful place. We were warmly welcomed. The room was wonderful. Lovingly decorated. It was a real treat to stay.
Quiet location. Separate quarters. Nicely decorated rooms and comfy beds.
No breakfast served (we knew that ahead of time.) Not really a kitchenette. Single burner, microwave, frig. Coffee pot did not work. Only bathroom sink. Room service only when staying than 2 nights so no easy way to wash dishes. House needed paint badly. Flower beds poor. Messy porch. Sitting area awkward and low lighting.
Climbing up three stories to room
Peggy and Lane are like long lost friends.
The decor was unique and inviting. The slanted ceiling, the extra comfy bed and fluffy comforter, and the sound of the ships' horns in the distance all combined to make our stay cozy.
The water spigot in the bathtub needs replacing.
The room was private, clean and comfortable
The staff was not always available when we needed them. There was no soap in the room for the shower. We went out to the store and bought some.
Very peaceful location.
No airconditioning and lots of stairs to room.
What friendly hosts! They recommended some great restaurants and made us feel completely at home. The room was adorable, spacious, and comfy.
Room decor own suite. Staff super nice.
Got hot in the middle of the night, had to get up and open all the windows wider and move a fan into the room. No place to put anything down in the bathroom. Wish they still did breakfast. Had to climb 2 flights of stairs outside at night with bags. Manager helped thankfully.
Bed was comfortable; room was clean.
Tired tattered furnishings in room; small cramped attic-conversion room; exterior renovations underway (should have been warned and room discounted); steep climb to room (should be a warning); site generally messy and cluttered;
