Great location. Great pool. Right on the beach. Beach was clean and not many people.
Great Resort for family and kids for all ages. Enjoyed ourself hasta great time.
There was a booking error the staff did handle it quickly though we had to change rooms after one night and that was not bad the staff helped with our luggage and help settle us in. Well this caused a hiccup in the billing we were charge twice for the whole weekend we left and they are working on and that's fine it's just an inconvenience to come home to deal with my bank and their accounting :(
The view, the feel of the "islands" where we normally vacation, and the location.
Outside door of our unit was so dirty, I didn't want to touch it and having to ask several times for a check-out receipt.
The pools were fantastic! Easy access to the beach and the pool bar and grill staff were friendly and gave good service.
I asked not to be placed at the end of row in one bedrooms, but that is exactly where they put me. I was not happy that the staff did not honor my request as we were there early enough to make sure I didn't get and end unit.
Pool was very good. Good access to the beach. Overall property was good and better than most in port aransas.
Rooms were adequate but not worth the money paid. All doors squeaked and hard to operate. Furniture in bedroom was cheap and drawers operated poorly. Cement floor of the outside balcony was in very poor condition. Looked as though a jack hammer had been used on it. Just not too classy for a classy place. We understand the harshness of the weather but paint is an easy thing to do. The swimming pool is the reason why we go to port royal but the pool area is becoming a little sterile looking from years past. The area needs more plant life as it was years ago. We still like the property but are beginning to think it is too expensive for what we are actually receiving.
The pool was really nice
Haven't been there in a few years. Buildings have gone down. Need maintenance in rooms, hallways and elevators. Bartender asked us how to make drinks cause he didn't have a book ! Desk staff is not knowledgeable and unable to explain a room charge to us without major confusion. Then she tried to belittle us to other guests after she thought we were gone! Overpriced by far!
The rooms and pools are wonderful.Staff is great
In Restaurant 361 would stood for 15 minutes at the counter and no one even acknowledge us..so we left..At the inside grill all of our orders were wrong and prices are a little much..
Convenience to the beach and most of the staff was friendly.
Too expensive for a "resort experience" on a Texas beach...not a good value for your money. We requested to change rooms to get the view we requested closer to the beach (after a long delay at check in and finally getting a manager to step in and find another room). The original room we were assigned was at the furthest possible location from the partial beach view. Sofa bed was not working in the room we were eventually given and the second bedroom did not have two beds as we requested. I will shop around for any future booking at a newer facility.
Awesome pool complex and beach access. Gulf room views with balconies beautiful. Rooms nice and well equipped.
Pricey. Have to pay for all room charges up front, upon check in, which is odd. Everything has a price; but hey, it's a vacation and we'll probably go back.
The pools and slides were a hot with the kids, and the condo was nice. The staff were friendly and the lifeguards did a great job. Everything felt safe, comfortable, and happy. A great family vacation.
It was close to other attractions like the Tx State Aquarium and the Lexington! The Pools were fantastic especially when there was so much seaweed on the beach and you couldn't really swim there. Our condo....it had anything we needed and staff was there if we needed anything else! Very relaxing stay for us!
All the seaweed, maybe educate people why it's left there for the turtles. Would have loved seeing turtles!!:) Didn't like that you could drive on the beach and that it was so dirty with trash and broken beer bottles. Wish it was cleaner by the hotel boardwalk. Outside part of the hotel looks tired but our condo was fantastic!!!!!!! Wish there was more on the menu at the 360 restraint but the Sunday brunch was omg wish they offered that more often staff there was great!!!!
Centrally located on the island. Pool and hot tub facilities were very good. Easy access to the beach.
Elevator in our building was out of operation multiple times during our stay. Numerous 'minor' repairs were needed. The facilities could use some updating as it's starting to look a little 'tired'.
Splash park for young children. Large area of pools. Friendly staff.
Great place for family of 4 generations. Beach close, dining great, parking good & cabanas a great asset to property.
Hot water was not good.
The Pool area. The Grilling area.
I liked how spacious the rooms were and that there were dosages and eating utensils stocked in the room.
The shower was disappointing and water was not warm for very long. My wife and I had to take showers 30 minutes or so apart so the water would refill. Otherwise it would be cold.
The condo was very nicely furnished. Specialty items were delivered promptly by staff upon request. The staff were superb! Very courteous with excellent follow-through. Access to the beach was wonderful. Excellent bird-watching. I hope to go again.
The outdoor pool and jacuzzi were not warm enough to use in the month of March which was a disappointment. The first floor outdoor garages where hosed down each day leaving pools of water to walk around. The railings on the outdoor building staircases were too rusty to hold on to.
This hotel is RUNDOWN. The whole place needs updating. The beds and pillows were old and lumpy. The towels are threadbare - both in the unit itself and at the pool. Despite kit being very busy, the staff didn't seem to want to do anything. Overall, terrible value for the price of the room.
facilities, great staff and cleanliness.
Our room! nothing like the brochure. Not even close. refrigerator ice machine inoperable ., we had to fool with the dryer to work too. Sofa sleeper uncomfortable. The unit #2205 is very outdated. Had no charm. I feel we paid way too much for that room.
pools and beach access Restaurant food was great! Friendly staff.
several nights (4 a.m.) we were disturbed by screaming, cursing and intoxicated spring breakers
Large condo for friends to hang out it. Condos were stocked with kitchen supplies (wasnt on website so i brought my own from home). Balcony was large and great ocean view. Staff werent sticklers on allowing extra guests into resort. They had charcoal grills to use. Overall had a great time and really enjoyed my condo. Would recommend this place to other.
Said it slept 6 with a pull out couch but the couch did not have a bed built in it and it was broken. They had a single cot in the master closet and blow up matress to use. The master bedroom comforter was old and ripped on the inside. Old tvs. Pools were shut down for maintenace.
Room 6313 was perfect for us. Our son, daughter-in-law and two young Grandchildren visited during our visit. We enjoyed the large dining room table for games and the tv for watching the A & M game. Kitchen was well equipped. We had to ask for more coffee the first morning. Loved the hot tub and the new pool design. Looking forward to next visit when it isn't so cold.
Could not work the remotes. The kitchen could use a sieve. Guest room beds were squeaky.
Our 1st room was not up to your standards or ours. Furnishings were dated, whirlpool tub had mold around jets, old dirt and grime ground into floor, etc. We brought it to the attention of the manager - and we were immediately given another room - one that had been renovated recently - and we were happy campers. Thank you.
Nice rooms with kitchens and sitting room. Pools were excellent.
Bedroom window faced the walkway to room. The outside light keep the room lit up allnight. The resturant was closed due to off season.
