After driving all day, nice to have an indoor spa to relax in!
Wi fi was iffy.
location by the water in middle of town, comfortable beds, friendly staff, wifi, tv, microwave and refrigerator plus extra bed for our son.
price a little high, maintenance a little behind schedule.
I like the pool. The room bed was big. The breakfast was pretty good.
The tv was a little outdated and hard to see the picture.Eggs with the breakfast would be nice.
Old falling apart. Breakfast had nothing healthy. room had no air. Overpriced.
Friendly staff, good location,clean rooms
Rooms are dated, and the bed was only a doublebed
Excellent pool for young families. Nice breakfast. Older motel but clean.
The location and pool were great and the deer bedded down outside the bathroom window was unique.
Less than desirable tenants in some rooms - the police were called at one point because a fight broke out.
nice indoor pool real clean great jacuzzi close to everything
the wife's snoring
Employees were friendly and location was good. Pool and hot tub are decent. Rooms were clean, but that's about it.
Beds were old and lumpy. Box spring looked like a cat had scratched on it. Sheets did not fit and popped off the corners of the mattress repeatedly throughout our two nights stay. When we arrived none of the lights were plugged in and after untangling a ratsnest of cords, we were able to get the two between the beds working. The third lamp was nowhere near an outlet. The shower cycled between scalding and freezing making for a most hurried and unpleasant experience. Furniture in the room was broken and poorly repaired with drywall screws. Cabinetry was old and scarred and had been poorly painted with a brush-Hinges and all. The room's are very old and concrete block with no atmosphere at all. The carpet was stained in various locations and the door did not have a lock chain although it had the fixtures in place for it (and like everything else they were under a couple layers of paint). If you are unfortunate enough to stay here, demand a second story room as the upper story was added long after the place was built in the 50's. Every footstep in the room above was amplified and sounded like it was coming through the ceiling! A very poor value for the price ($150 a night!). I suppose they make it on location alone, but there are other options. Our family stayed a block away at the Tides Inn, and for the same price had waterfront and an in room/on the deck hot tub.
The pool and hot tub
It was a bit expensive for the quality of the room
I have a two and half year old and the Port Towsend Inn was perfect for the pool and proximity to downtown and Fort Wardon beach. The bed was very comfortable!
The first night afforded excellent rest. But the second night someone was above us and it was quite noisy. This is just the way with motels though, right?
Bed was okay.Okay place to stay in a pinch, wouldn't be my second, or third choice next time. I would give this hotel a 2 out of 5 star rating.
Not much of a view, very noisy location in the a.m. Continental breakfast consists of bagels and packaged sweet rolls, orange juice and coffee, and oh yeah, cheerios.
Convenient for whale watching boat trips and Olympic NP
Location was ok, bed ok, kitchen was good and access to WiFi good.
Bright lights on all nite outside of door, a little noisy, room a bit dated for price but not much cheaper in the area except for camping. TV did not work right, had to hold remote in one location at all times for it to work.. Breakfast was average at best.
Close to supermarket and the inside pool and hot tub seem nice although I did not use them. View of the water was so so from the second floor balcony.
Older rooms, bathroom, tv and furniture which needed cleaning. Our room was listed as "deluxe king" which meant it was on the second floor, not what I consider deluxe. This was a non-smoking motel but guests still smoke on the balcony and with windows open, smell comes in the rooms. No air conditioning.
it was not comfortable enough (bed) for the money, and no air conditioning. Wouldn't stay here again. sorry.
This location is convient just a 10min walk to town. The pool is nice and the hot tub is "Hot". The continental is simple and good for a bagel & OJ ... coffee & Tea.
The Wi-Fi connection was a hassle we never did get connected. No AC so had the windows open, with total SW exposure the sun beat down until dark making it a while before room cooled down to sleeping temp. Location is right on main road in to town with a lot of traffic until late evening and then again starting early morning so was basically difficult to sleep due to traffic noise.
The room was pretty much like the pictures, except the lighthouse in the pictures is some sort of miniature sculpture or something. It was not fancy but it was in a decent location and we didn't spend much time in the room anyway. Internet worked fine.
There was no a/c, which really is ok, but the windows didn't have screens so once it got dark, I wound up closing the windows so bugs didn't get in. The pool was very cold and the hot tub was very hot so we didn't really enjoy the pool or hot tub, although the facilities were quite nice. The breakfast was minimal and we wound up buying our own.
water pressure and temp. was good.
reserved 2 queen delux 6 months in add advance next to each other. recived 2 rms as far aprt as one could get ,1 was a queen delux, one was a a small double bed ,with a rack for coats and dresses hanging over the pillows of the bed ,paper thin walls ,breakfast in morning stale muffins and cerial, staff was unwilling to help much. won't tell any one to go stay there. furniture was old ,smelly, broken, needs to renoevaded badly and stop with the bandaids
Proximity to town was nice but we were too far to walk because of young children. The pool was a nice to have. The cleaning staff was very friendly.
The price for the room we got was outrageous. The continental breakfast was a joke, we still had to take everyone out to eat. Everything was outdated and old. Very very loud people outside all night long.
Good staff proximity to downtown walkability
Light in window noise above and next door no privacy if drapes open
How accommodating staff was with my late arrival and early check out!
How I could hear the conversation in te room next to me.
Staff was friendly, helpful in suggesting restaurants, nice breakfast variety of things.
Room was spacious. Plenty of hot water. Location convenient. Bed comfortable. WiFi was good, but only supported one device.
Staff more focused on warning me about penalty fees for missing keys and late checkout than being welcoming. But no warning that coffee would be taken away at exactly 9:30 am. Restaurant recomendations not helpful - we were sent to a terrible and overpriced restaurant.
