Food, service, location, atmosphere, the room, recreation facilities were all first rate. We had a wonderful time.
There was nothing in our experience that feel shout of outstanding.
Found dried out feces on the floor of our room, presumably from a previous guest that had a pet. We were moved to another room immediately.
The accommodations were good for the price and location.
The night desk attendant was rude and obnoxious. He kicked our group out of the pool 10 mins before closing; stating it was closed and if we didn't get out he would call the police. We were 4 women just sitting in the jacuzzi talking. We were shocked by his behavior and disappointed as this was the sole reason we chose this Inn. I or our group will never stay here again.
We enjoyed having a hot tub and pool...lovely!
The water in the shower was not hot enough. Too cold.
Had a late checkin time the manger called to see if there was any thing he could do for us before we got there because the office was closing I thought that was a very nice gesture
We have a young family and stayed here because of the pool for our daughter, but it was so cold, we couldn't get in it!!! We were really bummed and had looked forward to the pool all day. We communicated this to management and they were very curt and unfriendly in their retort; they must obviously get a lot of complaints.
Hot tub Pool Beds Counter people Location Coop store next door It was clean Very quiet Decent price for this market... $100.
Limited continental breakfast. Access was a little difficult when traffic was bad.
Can't fault the accommodation and the staff were very helpful, giving information on the town and area.
The shower water was hot, and the motel not far from the center of town (but too far to walk). The exterior was newly painted so looked good in the photo and from across the street.
Very frayed outdoor carpeting and cigarette butts in parking bay. Unflushed toilet from last occupant. No laundry. Vanity cabinet with lots of splinters. Moldy shower stall. Room door knob had key that did not lock the deadbolt. Heard every step, bed jiggle and pass of gas from the person upstairs- all night. Never again.
It was clean
The bed was uncomfortable.....poor sleep;;;;;sore back
Staff was nice and efficient. Decent, but not outstanding value for money.
It appeared to be right on the water but isn't. It's at some distance from the town itself. The bathroom was small and outdated. It's window was clear and looked onto a vacant lot. The "continental breakfast" was terrible. Why offer it? The coffee was very watery. The current rating of 7.1 is too high.
Loved that it was pet friendly.
This is an old motel verging on shabby.
Staff called demanding payment the day before we arrived even after reservatiuons had been guaranteed with credit card. Ice machine was leaking causing carpet to smell.
After driving all day, nice to have an indoor spa to relax in!
Wi fi was iffy.
location by the water in middle of town, comfortable beds, friendly staff, wifi, tv, microwave and refrigerator plus extra bed for our son.
price a little high, maintenance a little behind schedule.
The good: -The bagel & mediocre drip coffee were alright at their continental breakfast. (7am - 9am) -The main office attendants were smiling.
The bad: -Being plastic-wrapped into our room by painters. -Being asked to not use our door for multiple hours, so they could paint it. -Cold shower took ten minutes to warm up, and lost pressure every time a neighbor flushed their toilet. -The painters had a clear view of my naked body when I got out of the shower our second morning, because they were keeping the paint in the backyard, which the screen-less bathroom window faced. -No fan in the bathroom, and lights that don't work. -We were in town for a wedding, and couldn't sleep when we needed to, due to painters conversing outside of our window. -Main office attendant actually laughed at me when I asked for a discount.
I like the pool. The room bed was big. The breakfast was pretty good.
The tv was a little outdated and hard to see the picture.Eggs with the breakfast would be nice.
Old falling apart. Breakfast had nothing healthy. room had no air. Overpriced.
Friendly staff, good location,clean rooms
Rooms are dated, and the bed was only a doublebed
Excellent pool for young families. Nice breakfast. Older motel but clean.
The location and pool were great and the deer bedded down outside the bathroom window was unique.
Less than desirable tenants in some rooms - the police were called at one point because a fight broke out.
nice indoor pool real clean great jacuzzi close to everything
the wife's snoring
Employees were friendly and location was good. Pool and hot tub are decent. Rooms were clean, but that's about it.
Beds were old and lumpy. Box spring looked like a cat had scratched on it. Sheets did not fit and popped off the corners of the mattress repeatedly throughout our two nights stay. When we arrived none of the lights were plugged in and after untangling a ratsnest of cords, we were able to get the two between the beds working. The third lamp was nowhere near an outlet. The shower cycled between scalding and freezing making for a most hurried and unpleasant experience. Furniture in the room was broken and poorly repaired with drywall screws. Cabinetry was old and scarred and had been poorly painted with a brush-Hinges and all. The room's are very old and concrete block with no atmosphere at all. The carpet was stained in various locations and the door did not have a lock chain although it had the fixtures in place for it (and like everything else they were under a couple layers of paint). If you are unfortunate enough to stay here, demand a second story room as the upper story was added long after the place was built in the 50's. Every footstep in the room above was amplified and sounded like it was coming through the ceiling! A very poor value for the price ($150 a night!). I suppose they make it on location alone, but there are other options. Our family stayed a block away at the Tides Inn, and for the same price had waterfront and an in room/on the deck hot tub.
