The price was ok
First room I looked at stunk terribly. Second room (and the only other one with 2 beds) was right beside the highway.
the train tracks across the street
Old room needs care, bedding sheets are rough and smell strongly of bleach. 3 freight trains and busy street traffic was heard all night. Price was not worth little sleep- we switched!
Last minute reservation.
No hot water. Bugs in the sink and on the walls. Wayyyyy overpriced. Tweaker neighborhood. We had to stay here- no other options everything else was booked.
Dirty, poorly maintained. The bathroom was missing a mirror. Found bugs in the shower.
No lock on window, bad lighting, scarey neighbors(long term renters),overpriced..
just the location
the light was out
Staff was friendly Clean
It was very old, and definitely not worth the money, our room was about 15 ft off a busy street, next to a railroad track, and planes landing all night long.
The room was clean and the sheets were fresh and clean. It was adequate for a few nights stay for people who are on a budget. It is fairly near the bus line so if you have no car it is a short walk for transportation.
When I first checked in the room I got had a problem with the air conditioning so I had to switch rooms. This hotel is in the bad part of town and I had to walk one day due to it being a holiday and I did not feel very comfortable walking. Gang signs everywhere. Lady at the front desk told me that the sheets on my bed would be changed on Tuesday but no one ever showed up to do it. The staff was not very friendly and made you feel like you were bothering them whenever you needed something. Hotel is right across the street from the train tracks so you could hear train going by at all hours of the night. No daily room service which is something that is not mentioned in the hotel ad. Reminded me of a hotel where people rented a room to bring prostitutes to and then leave. TV sets were old school and the cable TV was limited to about 12 channels mostly news channels. I would not recommend this hotel unless you are really struggling financially or if you have no plans to be in the room most of the time.
The neighborhood is anything but safe. It is sooo far from downtown Portland. It does not look like Portland anymore hen you get there. You should get back to the inn before it's too late at night.
The gal at the front counter was very nice and Polite and the room wasn't bad and the bed was quite comfortable
The ladys at the desk were friendly to me and when I checked out a day early. They did refund me for one day even though they technically didn't have to do that.
Ok lets be honest, this hotel is a complete rat hole. From the disgusting condition of the room (dirty, smelly, gross bed linens, broken tv remote, and I think somebody kicked in the door and it didn't repair it correctly, poor water pressure in the shower.) to the man repairing his vehicle out front at 7 in the morning, this hotel should be condemned by the City of Portland. This is your basic place a prostitute would take her customer. I felt I got robbed at any amount to say at this place, very unsafe place for anyone worried about their safety.
