amenities and location.
there were three people and there was no bedding for hide-away-bed which one person decided to use so the only option was a bed-spread Your choices for travelers in the party was not adequate. Family could be all adults but not couples.
The beds were very comfortable
The sink faucet was very loose, there were spider webs, smudges on the wall art, and on the inside of the bathroom door there was an unfinished patch job from some prior damage apparently.
No fruit 3 days in a row of biscuits and gravy No eggs
Very knowledgeable and helpful.
The manager is a racist! I would say "good morning" and she could not even bring herself to respond, she looked at me like I was dirt - not worth her response! She threatened me with calling the police because I didn't know that I couldn't get cereal as the door was open, calling the police over a bowl of cereal? Seriously? Also, she could not have a civil conversation with me, she screamed at me at the top of her lungs in front of other guests - accused me of smoking in the room which I didn't and she was proven wrong - accusation after accusation she hurled at me - all wrong! All at the top of her lungs! Avoid if you are of Mexican heritage (US citizen or not) we are not customers to her - we are dirt! DO NOT RENT AT THIS MOTEL! Ants everywhere! Served the same re-heated sausage gravy for all 4 days I was there! I got food poisoning my last day there - I ate the sausage gravy, was sick within 4 hours! Broken door bolt, shower curtain reeked of mildew so bad - you didn't want to go into the bathroom, bathroom fan broken - all for 80+ dollars a night, and to be screamed at like I was dirt from a psycho manager! AVOID - DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE! RACISTS!
Breakfast in its own large room, lots of space and choices. Friendly staff helped with where to go in town. Convenient stay. Lots of parking.
It's a bit out of town though close to the airport. Pool was nice but housekeeping started cleaning while I was there and the smell made me leave. Otherwise very good.
big room, good facility, clean, location close to supermarket
Staff were inexperienced and building was outdated. Ghetto!
It was hard to find using address only. Breakfast room was much too small for the demand.
Our room smelled horrible and was covered in glow in the dark graffiti. We were able to change rooms but I was so shook up over seeing "JACOB" and other things scrawled in glowing paint in our dark room, I hardly slept. The hot tub was covered in some green slime and was out of commission. The only protein offered at breakfast was this disgusting sausage gravy in a crock pot that was plugged into a wall that kep blowing the fuse so who knows if it was safe. We were in the breakfast room for 40 minutes and the fuse blew 4 times. The location was terrible, stuffed between ghetto strip malls and a 7-11. There were cops out front one night and it was almost comical how horrible it was. Even after all of our disasters, we were comped 10% off. Atrocious. I've stayed at cheap motels that were in better shape than this dump. Never. Again.
Clean and comfortable and quiet.
Far away from downtown Portland or any of the attractions.
There was graffiti on the walls, when asked for another room they told me they had none. When my wife came down all of a sudden they said the best they could do was switch our room. That room was dirty, unflushed toilet, but better than having graffiti on the walls. When we went to talk to the person at checkout we were cut off, told goodbye multiple times and treated like a hassle. When we mentioned about the graffiti on the walls at checkout the woman said "Well did you sleep? Then you got what you paid for." The only pleasant/competent staff member was the guy who checked us in. The breakfast selection was poor. Only bread, cereal, waffles, and biscuits (not very good for someone who has to be careful about carbs for medical reasons). The shower rod in the room was broken which made it impossible for the curtain to stay closed. Sauna was broken, hot tub was broken, ice machines were broken... We were supposed to stay 2 nights. We shortened it to one night and almost decided against staying at all.
Easy access to main thoroughfares. More than satisfactory accommodations for the price.
Booked this hotel specifically for the indoor pool AND hot tub. Unfortunately the hot tub was "out of order". Having known this sooner I probably would have booked a different hotel.
the place was ok, but upon arrival there were two police cars at the entrance with one person secured in a police car and another person sitting down handcuffed by the front entrance. they had a problem finding are reservation and it is in a bad part of town
staff was nice
Breakfast wasn't great unless you love carbs.
loud noise appliances not working walls peeling no screens on windows
It was a decent hotel for $80 off the internet. Would be upset if we paid full price.
Was in disrepair. Repairs that were done were shoddy at best. Gel coat repairs to the shower were terrible, carpet baseboards falling off the walls, ancient tv with terrible station selection.
Beds were comfortable
Sauna and hot tub were closed, one of the reasons I booked the hotel. Very few channels on the cable to actually watch. Tenants in the apartments behind the hotel were loud outside late into the night.
Did not like, Room stunk, pillows no good, no hair dryer, had to ask for more shampoo. Breakfast, no fruit, nowhere to sit, poor food selection and taste
Cleanliness of rooms Lots of parking
Warn and 2nd rate building maintenance Broken down wrecked car stored in parking lot OVER CHARGED FOR ROOM AND WAS GIVEN RUN AROUND, COST ME EXTRA $25 PER NIGHT FOR 3 NIGHTS
When we opened the hide a bed there was fresh mouse droppings on the mattress. Totally disgusting. But we had the kids sleep with us because we didn't have a sheet for the soiled mattress. Also the ice machine wasn't working and it had been 90 degrees in Portland that day. Hotel had an off odor. Wasn't bad but wasn't great.
Common areas are very worn, carpets dingy, wrecked car stored in parking lot offers sketchy view of hotel. Hotel unwilling or staff unable to make adjusts reservations made by booking.com .
In our 8 days of travel in Oregon this was the most expensive hotel we booked and the worst hotel I've ever stayed at.This property is in sad shape. Duct tape holding the wallpaper down above the shower. Rust and mold in several places. No sink stopper. No TV remote. Ice machines not working. The pool is missing part of its stairs and the bottom of the pool feels like there is sand or gravel. The continental breakfast is substantially inadequate. The location of the hotel seems to be a rougher part of town and we did not feel safe. I would Never stay here or recommend to anyone I cared about.
For what we paid, we were very disappointed in our stay and would not recommend this hotel. When we got there, the clerk at the desk was rattled and gave us bedding for a third person in the room - which we had never booked. There was only my husband and myself staying. The carpets had also recently been cleaned in the entire hotel - and the chemical smell was so STRONG that my throat swelled and I barely slept all night. The wallpaper in the room was peeling off in various places and it looked like black mold in the window (room 408) under the peeled wallpaper. The stopper was also missing from the sink so the water splashed all over the place when the sink was on. The TV choices were also horrible - only about 5 channels came in and there was no ability to watch any rental movies, etc. We were very disappointed in this hotel and will never return.
Beds were comfortable In a quiet area Outside of property well cared for
Price was double what room value is Both ice machines out of service Breakfast room too small, not able to get in due to lineup in hallway Older worn out round screen TV
